The water hose wasn't draped across the goats house. Smokey is so happy to have her goats. She doesn't have that shock collar and can run with the animals freely. I am so happy she is home.

I thought of a new pattern the other day. Let birds out, just let them out or get the auto door up and running. but save their water/feed until last. Then go in feed Smokey, Pigs and Goats then on your way back to house, dance and change chicken waters and feed. Then you won't feel rushed if you want to spend extra time with the chickens. Smokey is so so happy!

Curious if you consider growing worms for your chickens. If you drink coffee take the used coffee grounds and put them on the ground. Soak the area with water and put piece of plywood on top. Keep the area damp and feed them your coffee grounds. If you don't have worms down in your dirt you might try introducing them to that spot. You might want to feed them to the chickens or use for fishing. We did it in South Dakota. Your dirt might be different but you might try it. If not you might just grow crickets. Chickens like those too. 😉

It's good to see Smokey looking and behaving so much better. I think.personally that she didn't like the big open space at chads. She was used to hard boundaries and didn't like the fact that she had such a vast area to patrol. There is also thicker brush and free cover at yours. What with that and the strange new animals ( donkeys and alpacaz) she didn't know what she was supposed to do. Now she is back within the fences she grew up with and.knows she is guarding all within the fences .k am glad you had her back

Smokey's looking great, happy to be home. Goat poop is a great fertilizer. I believe, like rabbit poop, it's a cold fertilizer which means you can put it directly in your garden and it won't burn your plants. No more following cows around lol😅🤣🤣
