I love layering Kayali Vanilla 28 with other perfumes. Funny story - I have given both my granddaughters several bottles of perfume that they like from my collection. My youngest graduates college this year with a teaching degree. She is student teaching kindergarteners right now. Her favorite scents are the sweet vanilla and caramels I have given her. She says the children really like the Kayali most of all, she can tell because she gets more hugs when she wears it.

If I wear a vanilla scent my skin amplifies the vanilla, so I always like a scent with other notes, so it isn't linear or just vanilla.. Hundred silent ways sounds lovely ❤
Hundred Silent Ways definitely grew on me the more I wore it. Went from a like to a Love last year. Definitely performs a lot better than one would think.

I recently picked up Xerjoff Allende, and I’ve been enjoying it. It smells almost like a vanilla candle, but I don’t mind that-I like vanilla candles 😊.

I agree with Divine Vanille from Essentials Parfum. I've been wearing it everyday and it is a softer fragrance for me, but I enjoy that. I'll need to try Manifesto next.
Hi Veronica I am certainly a vanilla lover. Dior Addict, Vanille by Franck Boclet and certainly Jovoy’s Fire At Will are among my faves. Sultan by Royal Crown is a little more complex but i love it - not an easy reach though. I am late to the 100 Silent Ways train but i have recently ordered it. Great video ❤

I love your videos so much because you're very detailed, more so than many other reviewers and you always pack so many different frags into your videos and it seems like you never repeat any. So thank you! Vanilla is my all time, ride or die favorite note. It all started at the Body Shop in like 92 with all of those glass bottles with the glass sticks and that vanilla oil. Omg, what I would not do to get my hands on some of that stuff again LOL. Anyway, off the top of my head, my easy reaches are from Cocoapink. Come Hither (myrrh n vanilla), Spiriteuse Double Vanille dupe (so booozy n rich!!), Cinderella Carriage (vanilla, coconut, pumpkin pie, kitchen sink frag Lol). I LOVE vanilla.

I’m picky about vanillas because they tend to go stale on me. However, Gypsy Water is a favorite. Mont Blanc Signature, Libre EDT, and Clean Reserve Skin are some that have a vanilla note that I love as well. And basically ANYTHING by Comptoir Sud Pacifique. Their vanillas stay and true sweet on my skin, and (as a perfume junkie who is also a migraine sufferer that has to be super careful) not one of their fragrances has ever given me a headache! So incredibly wearable! Love them! On a side note, you’ve got me regretting selling my Manifesto recently. Decluttering comes back to bite you sometimes, lol. It really is a wonderful fragrance recommendation.

I was the complete opposite I started off in love with oud fragrance then found gourmand fragrance I’ve now Decluttered the majority of my oud fragrances I have all the gourmand fragrances and now my taste is changing again I’m learning into more soft sweet floral fragrances ❤

Vanilla = my favorite note! When I find a new scent I love I tend to wear it on repeat the way I would play a song over and over when I was a kid. I went through Kayali 28, then on to Philosophy Warm Cashmere, and now I'm on La Belle (for evening) or Escapade Gourmande (which is just fun and easy!) all this winter. Love your videos and descriptions. Has helped me find so many yummy fragrances.
I'm struggling with vanilla, but I do like Olympea, and love the vanilla drydown of Encens Suave (perhaps not an easy reach). Orchidee Vanille (floury/dusty) and Divine Vanille (synthetic) are collecting dust in my closet. I did try Silky Woods (nice but overpriced). Since you mentioned Seta, it's on the list to revisit tomorrow, thank you very much :D

Kayali Vanilla 28 took a minute for me to like. I bought it, I didn't love it. I tried it a few months later, I like it much better now that the the juice is darker. Vanilla Milk layers well Maison Margiela Margiela Replica By the Fireplace.

When I want VANILLA, I might go with Xerjoff Lira on the high end, or Pacifica Island Vanilla on the low end (financially). I also consider Lalique Le Parfum an easy reach, and don't think it's too romantic for daytime wear. Angelique Noire and Cuir Beluga are also favorites.

@@VeronicaSays I forgot to mention that I just sampled Amo for the second time, and it is really growing on me. I think the fruit notes make it more of a transitional fragrance, winter to spring, than a winter fragrance which may be why it didn't resonate when I first tried it.

I used to wear manifesto about 5 years ago. I then discovered that I have a love hate relwith vanilla. I think vanilla plays a supporting role but for me if its dominant it is a no. That said I'm wearing right now a floral vanilla scent that I never thought I'd love but I do!!....I'll keep you guessing till I film the video next week lol 😆 😅

I love super sweet fragrances, but i prefer the softer and more sheer vanillas…🤍 you know how much i ADORE Fire at Will 😍 people probably expected that one to be like a bombastic sweet and smoky vanilla etc.. but if that scent profile was denser and thicker, i think it’d be too much.. omg Kiss Me Intense.. i was just given that one… i loooooove that ! Powdery sweet almond vanilla, yes ! That one is indeed a fluffy kind of scent 🥰

Hello Veronica, you should do a part three if you think you have another 20 vanilla fragrances to pull out and talk about. 😆 I would say my Guerlain vanillas are easy reach for over all enjoyment, except the cost has me thinking twice... 😅 At bedtime Nuit Et Confidences is an easy reach for me. I got a good price last year, so I don't feel bad about using it all the time. It's not overly sweet and I find it comforting. I tested Fire at Will and found it sweet, projecting and long lasting. I think it would be great for layering to lighten up heavier fragrances. It's one that could be a nice Summer vanilla. I am eventually going to test out the Kayali Vanilla 28. I think I may need to get a travel size just so I can try to understand all the hype and form my own opinion about it. I am glad HSW is growing on you! Hyped or not it is an enjoyable wear in my opinion. 😉 Trying to remember everything I saw you mention... I would like to sample Princess, Mercurial Cashmere, Kiss me intense (although cotton ball texture in my nose could be challenging for me). I used to have Amo but I could never smell it correctly 😢 I let it sit for a few months and would spray it occasionally but it was always very faint and I grew anosmic to it almost right away, so frustrating, it had potential 😩 I think I want Princess and Fire at Will. I love vanilla!! Great video and recommendations. I love the softer perfumes, so I'm glad when you mention how long they last etc. My family can't tolerate the stronger fragrances, so the lighter the better, so they don't complain!

I like it a lot also, but two of my favorite vanillas from Dua are Gold Fluid and Vanille Overload. I have a dupe of Hundred silent ways by Dua called 100 Whispers, but it’s just a like, not love. Sol de Janeiro 40 is my favorite vanilla body spray. Outremer Vanille and Philosophy Fresh cream warm cashmere are my soft and simple vanilla perfumes that I wear mostly to bed. 😊

No way I could spend that much for Angelique Noire myself. Saw a RUclips recommendation for a dupe called Aurora by StarGaze. Not the greatest bottle, but the fragrance is lovely and long lasting. Haven’t been able to smell the OG for a comparison, but it’s notes are definitely vanilla and green.

Great video as always. My favorite easy reaches are Dua Era of Vanilla, Lancome Lavandes Trianon, Maison Mataha Escapade Gourmande, and my newest addition, Lorenzo Pazzaglia Van Exstasyx. I have Dua's A.S. I agree it's linear but can't support that frag. The person behind it has proven to be sketchy. I've put Seta on my list for the amber/resinous aspects. Love a good amber too.

I actually agree that Setta is kind of light and airy and more vanillic. I have the tiny little 10 ml of Vanilla 28, and I want a big bottle at some point. I actually get a lot of patchouli from it, and love it. Probably my favorite easy reach vanilla at the moment is Kenzo world Power. I know it's discontinued, but I got it just recently off of Mercari. It is so amazing. Also, Jessica Simpson's Fancy is pretty darn good. And ugh! I just won a large partial of Twilly for an AMAZING price off eBay, and I got a message from the seller saying they slipped and broke it on the way to the post office 😭. So they refunded me and I am taking it as a sign that I don't need more of it. I still have a couple ml from a mini I got a while ago. Oh well.

So thank you! Vanilla is my all time, ride or die favorite note. It all started at the Body Shop in like 92 with all of those glass bottles with the glass sticks and that vanilla oil. Omg, what I would not do to get my hands on some of that stuff again LOL. Anyway, off the top of my head, my easy reaches are from Cocoapink. Come Hither (myrrh n vanilla), Spiriteuse Double Vanille dupe (so booozy n rich!!), Cinderella Carriage (vanilla, coconut, pumpkin pie, kitchen sink frag Lol). I LOVE vanilla.

I’m picky about vanillas because they tend to go stale on me. However, Gypsy Water is a favorite. Mont Blanc Signature, Libre EDT, and Clean Reserve Skin are some that have a vanilla note that I love as well. And basically ANYTHING by Comptoir Sud Pacifique. Their vanillas stay and true sweet on my skin, and (as a perfume junkie who is also a migraine sufferer that has to be super careful) not one of their fragrances has ever given me a headache! So incredibly wearable! Love them! On a side note, you’ve got me regretting selling my Manifesto recently. Decluttering comes back to bite you sometimes, lol. It really is a wonderful fragrance recommendation.

Vanilla = my favorite note! When I find a new scent I love I tend to wear it on repeat the way I would play a song over and over when I was a kid. I went through Kayali 28, then on to Philosophy Warm Cashmere, and now I'm on La Belle (for evening) or Escapade Gourmande (which is just fun and easy!) all this winter. Love your videos and descriptions. Has helped me find so many yummy fragrances.

I'm struggling with vanilla, but I do like Olympea, and love the vanilla drydown of Encens Suave (perhaps not an easy reach). Orchidee Vanille (floury/dusty) and Divine Vanille (synthetic) are collecting dust in my closet. I did try Silky Woods (nice but overpriced). Since you mentioned Seta, it's on the list to revisit tomorrow, thank you very much :D

Kayali Vanilla 28 took a minute for me to like. I bought it, I didn't love it. I tried it a few months later, I like it much better now that the the juice is darker.

When I want VANILLA, I might go with Xerjoff Lira on the high end, or Pacifica Island Vanilla on the low end (financially). I also consider Lalique Le Parfum an easy reach, and don't think it's too romantic for daytime wear. Angelique Noire and Cuir Beluga are also favorites.

@@VeronicaSays I forgot to mention that I just sampled Amo for the second time, and it is really growing on me. I think the fruit notes make it more of a transitional fragrance, winter to spring, than a winter fragrance which may be why it didn't resonate when I first tried it.

I used to wear manifesto about 5 years ago. I then discovered that I have a love hate relwith vanilla. I think vanilla plays a supporting role but for me if its dominant it is a no. I love super sweet fragrances, but i prefer the softer and more sheer vanillas…🤍 you know how much i ADORE Fire at Will 😍 people probably expected that one to be like a bombastic sweet and smoky vanilla etc.. but if that scent profile was denser and thicker, i think it’d be too much.. omg Kiss Me Intense.. i was just given that one… i loooooove that ! Powdery sweet almond vanilla, yes ! That one is indeed a fluffy kind of scent 🥰

At bedtime Nuit Et Confidences is an easy reach for me. I got a good price last year, so I don't feel bad about using it all the time. It's not overly sweet and I find it comforting.
I tested Fire at Will and found it sweet, projecting and long lasting. I think it would be great for layering to lighten up heavier fragrances. It's one that could be a nice Summer vanilla.
I am eventually going to test out the Kayali Vanilla 28. I think I may need to get a travel size just so I can try to understand all the hype and form my own opinion about it.
I am glad HSW is growing on you! Hyped or not it is an enjoyable wear in my opinion. 😉

I used to have Amo but I could never smell it correctly 😢 I let it sit for a few months and would spray it occasionally but it was always very faint and I grew anosmic to it almost right away, so frustrating, it had potential 😩

I like it a lot also, but two of my favorite vanillas from Dua are Gold Fluid and Vanille Overload. I have a dupe of Hundred silent ways by Dua called 100 Whispers, but it’s just a like, not love. Sol de Janeiro 40 is my favorite vanilla body spray. Outremer Vanille and Philosophy Fresh cream warm cashmere are my soft and simple vanilla perfumes that I wear mostly to bed. 😊

No way I could spend that much for Angelique Noire myself. Saw a RUclips recommendation for a dupe called Aurora by StarGaze. Not the greatest bottle, but the fragrance is lovely and long lasting. Haven’t been able to smell the OG for a comparison, but it’s notes are definitely vanilla and green.
Funny, while I was typing, Veronica was also recommending the StarGaze dupe again. 🤷

Great video as always. My favorite easy reaches are Dua Era of Vanilla, Lancome Lavandes Trianon, Maison Mataha Escapade Gourmande, and my newest addition, Lorenzo Pazzaglia Van Exstasyx. I have Dua's A.S. I agree it's linear but can't support that frag. The person behind it has proven to be sketchy. I've put Seta on my list for the amber/resinous aspects. Love a good amber too.

I know that you love some Oomph Veronica 💖😉 so I think you would like it, but would miss projection and longevity ☺️ I love it, especially “to bed” because it also got Lavender and it’s a light fragrance that doesn’t suffocate my very picky and “sensitive” husbond 😂♥️
I tried that one a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. Soft and easy! I do like fragrances with some oomph but also happy to wear more subtle ones from time to time. Good choice! 💖💖💖

I actually agree that Setta is kind of light and airy and more vanillic. I have the tiny little 10 ml of Vanilla 28, and I want a big bottle at some point. I actually get a lot of patchouli from it, and love it. Probably my favorite easy reach vanilla at the moment is Kenzo world Power. I know it's discontinued, but I got it just recently off of Mercari. It is so amazing. Also, Jessica Simpson's Fancy is pretty darn good. And ugh! I just won a large partial of Twilly for an AMAZING price off eBay, and I got a message from the seller saying they slipped and broke it on the way to the post office 😭. So they refunded me and I am taking it as a sign that I don't need more of it. I still have a couple ml from a mini I got a while ago. Oh well.
