This guy needs to relax and just trust his spotter. Like scorch said, he’s just overthinking everything which takes away from the fun of off-roading. Nobody wants to damage their rig but you gotta trust your spotters rather than trying to make his own lines and not listening to his spotter.
If you do a SCORCH meet at Sand Hollow, participants should make the effort to prepare a flag mounting point on their vehicle because it is required at many other off-road locations that have sand dunes.
Yup. Learned that last minute. We were able to wedge it in the tire carrier with a zip tie for the Jeep. David had to saw through the pole to shorten it and fashion a solution using the roof rack and roof top tent. We've got a lot of dual offroad/daily driver rigs that will would not have a simple solution. It was a fun park so we are not totally ruling it out.
It was a tough decision and I don't like tough decisions - So I purchased both ; 23 JL R XRecon and 4Runner 🤠 (in channel).
That Jeep is a beast!
It is. By our estimation its the toughest factory Rubicon you can get. It's a total monster.
@@SCORCH4x4 Agreed! I have a 2021 2dr Rubicon and it’s so capable bone stock it’s crazy!
Nice videos guys , I hope more videos coming out
You should of told him inched like 6+ on most things he was worried about. That 4runner build is awesome.
I did but he didn't believe me. And it is. PT 2 of this vid coming out later today.
Add the head liner kit to your Ruby. Soooo worth it. Great choice.
I had some heat issue with the top recently (you will see in a future video) that had me thinking the same thing.
I've done many crazy things in the same 4Runner with same toytec lift.
Its a pretty solid product. Danger Dave approves.
Good thing the jeep has a spot. Lol
He's worried about the $50k he's sitting on, it has to get him to work on Monday.
