I did something similar to this eith a 2010 ford ranger w/4l v6. No need for a heavy duty diesel. If i were to use a diesel, it would be anyone of the powerstrokes
@@3523reeper its called heavy rear end upgrades to handle the weight. Helper springs, stiffer leaf packs, airlift suspension air bads, and upgraded anti sway bars. Also a few performance upgrades under the hood. Paul, i like your gmc. Im a sucker for the Sierras but mid sized trucks can also do heavy work if upgraded properly.
