I found a 3 in Walmart but was not exactly sure about the id process so I left it behind. Went home with a BATMAN (TH) from the bottom of a dump bin and surprisingly great condition.
@@Mr.ReanuKeeves thanks so much bro, its such an honor to know! there are many more videos coming up, stay tuned! i try to post every saturday and 10:00 A.M.
1971 I was 10. I had the track with the spinning wheels to send it down the track and a loop . I can't remember the few cars I had. Only had a couple few. 4 years ago I bought the new version. They just don't make the track like they used to
I was 6 in 71. We used to fight with the track sections (admit it, you did too, lol). THAT was a painful game. A "good" comparison would be to see if the new ones break before any blood gets drawn.
I did too. Saw a segment a couple weeks ago that gave the info up. Most all the mystery boxes I come across are opened and the 1 2 and 3 cars always gone. Just like the treasures we hunt.
Mystery models don’t have chases lol they just black out the first one just for fun and for the “mystery” of it. Also they always make 1,2,3 real licensed cars.
that's what makes them chases! plus you always see the trophy on the sticker of the 1,2, and 3 car. if that wasnt enough, the hwjamey newsletter specifically referred to them as chase cars. I do know that there are supposedly specific guidlines that make a car a chase, but idk, I guess it just depends on what the specific collector wants to call them. some could say the rarer three in the set, but for me its just easier to say the chases and everything I've seen hints or specifically states that they are chases. 🤷
what guidelines does a car/casting have to meet in order to become a chase from what you've seen? I'm curious, bc I might be wrong, although again the hwjamey newsletter specifically called them chase cars... 🤔
@@DodgerDiecast that trophy doesn’t mean anything lol and not sure of the page or site your referring too but I’ve never heard anyone calling them chases. Why do you think they’re called “mystery models” they have to make at least one of them a mystery…a chase at least in my honest opinion is something that is in very limited quantities and different from the normal stuff. They make hundreds of thousands of mystery models and are the 1,2,3 ones different from the rest sure maybe with a paintjob but it’s not like all of them are white and you have a chance of finding a black one. Look up a M2 machines chase 1 out of 750 pieces or 1 out of 250 pieces if you find a raw now that’s a real chase. You can call them whatever you’d like but I just don’t want other people being mislead by it because that’s just simply not the case.
You just explained what a chase car is. A blacked out model that your average shopper wouldn't know about. They have chase cars whether you wanna believe it or not. Everyone's calling them chases but you, yet you say you've never heard anyone call them chases. Here's your lesson. 😂😂😂
Another hint is that when you open the top flops on each case they come lettered A and B but 01 (the chase) only comes in box A
great point! just learned about that from one of Shawn nicklaus's videos
@@DodgerDiecast I try to learn on my own. Those guys only teach you how to scalp
Shawn Nicklaus is a joke. He's essentially a thief. No class d-bag. He's a major scalper. 🫰
Not all heroes wear capes
haha thanks 😅
But gatekeepers do
Cool. I've never bought one of the mystery models because I didn't want to get an unwanted car. This is great info. Thanks for sharing.
glad I could help!
Great tip👍 I like when they add more licensed cars over the fantasy stuff 😕
same here! although I generally like licensed cars better, sometimes there are fantasy cars I like
Bro you are gem! 💎 I literally scored 01 and 03! ❤
appretiate it my guy! congrats!!

Genius!
Useful 👍
To bad you couldn't do that video in under 30 seconds, because that's all the time you really needed.
that's a good idea, I should do a short form video about it
Cool bro 💚
Thanks 🔥
