Thank you for the nice com Puzzi. I'm not sure in the year I'll have to check the back of the card but yes this was a super treasure hunt. I want it so bad but I'm pretty sure it goes for like $400 on the bay. Don't quote me though.
@@MikesHobbyPlanet It's not worth $400 anymore. I saw sold prices on ebay for a short card of the purple Porsche 911 GT3 RS of $277. Long card one of that Porsche Sth sold for only $150.

@@puzzicat5395 It's an older Sth though. It won't be easy to find one in stores now though. That does depend on what cases stores get for Hot Wheels mainline cars now.

I appreciate you leaving the green Porsche, Mike. $20 does seem a lot. But, that is I think a fairly good price for this rather rare issue. They never showed up over here in the UK and there are none on fleaBay at the moment. Totally your call, and hope you find one again at a better price.

Nice haul. Looks to be a Plymouth Superbird in Petty Blue or what is left of it. That Purple Porsche looks great. Unfortunately, you weren't able to get that tow truck, but some sellers are just difficult.
Mike, did you realize when you were buying the Fiesta that it was a TH? Loose cars in a bucket are .25¢-.75¢ cars imo. The lady that had loosies nicely laid out in a case, she would get what she's asking as I feel she cared for them. And why pass up on off brand cars? If you're going to strip down some wreck you find in a bucket, give it a nice paint job and nice set of wheels, why does it matter what brand it is? I would be more impressed if you took a cheap off brand car and made it look great. Love the flea market hunts Mike, some great treasures to be had there. Didn't know you were looking for the purple Porsche. I have several, would have sent you one, just would have had to find them. Great video Mike, look forward to other off the beaten path hunts. TY🙏
Nope when I was buying it I had no idea it was a treasure hunt till everyone in my comments kindly told me so! Yep I plan on doing more off the beat type stuff like this as I really enjoyed switching it out from the typical hunt videos. Thanks for watching!

Hot Wheels hasn't made any new versions of the Toyota hill climb Celica or Tacoma in years.
2:35 One of my hot wheels growing up was that same Pikes Peak Celica mold, but the yellow Penzoil version.

Awesome flea market haul congrats.👍 I went to my flea market today also and I found some older hot wheels including some older treasure hunts and yesterday I got real super lucky yesterday at dollar tree and at 2 of my local grocery stores it is the same grocery store but in 2 different locations I found the Nissan skyline GT-R BNR34 nismo monster truck treasure hunt, the Batman forever batmobile regular treasure hunt, the Ford mustang Mach E 1400 regular treasure hunt and the 1971 Chevy El Camino super treasure hunt.👍

I've yet to make my way over to that flea market. Though I did recently go to that areas Walmart for the 1st time and got the Buick from the decades of fast set.

That’s a good grab on the regular TH Ford Fiesta. It’s ironic there were 2 things in the video in which I had the same exact thing happen lately; with some loose cars a dealer wouldn’t budge on price even by $1 for the group, so I adjusted my purchase down by quite a bit, I think your offer was very fair given the condition 1ea was overpriced. Secondly I saw a regular purple Porsche GT on international card at the grocery store (probably a return) I didn’t get it b/c it was 1.79 but I told a young collector at the next store (Target) who was getting a yellow Porsche Carrera and they thanked me for informing them about it and were going to pick the purple one up next.

We have several markets in our area, they are great honey holes, but my fav is in Woodstock Ontario where my brother lives they have everything from RLC-to parts cars, the 1st time I went there I spent the better part of 3 hrs jus cruising thru the place what an experience andman came home with a bag lemme tell ya what, sheesh, anywho great vlog as always Mike, #whereTJat?

It was comical watching you get butt hurt over trying to save $2. Lmao. Don't be so cheap, just buy cars that you like when you see them. You can't blame the seller for not wanting to give his stuff away. Lol
No, I wasn't butt hurt at all, It was the way he responded to me. You are selling at a flea market and a lot of it is about making deals. It's not always what you say, it's how you say it. I probably would have laughed and say something along the lines of "I tried" or "I had to ask" and said okay, if he was nice I've done it many times in the past. In my opinion the moral of the story is sometimes you have to be willing to sell for less to gain more. I did the same with all the other sellers and none of them had an issue with me at least trying. The answers will always be no if you don't ask.

If he didn't want to give it away, then why post it for sale? That's quite the contradiction bud.
Plus, there's nothing wrong with negotiating a price, especially considering the fact that people do inflate the "value" out of proportion. So ultimately, I agree with Mike. I specifically agree with the most important factor, the seller being rude. There's no justification & sense you can tell me that excuses someone in business (customer service) being rude to a customer. If that's how you want to be, find a different career or business to get into. I say this as someone who has years of customer business experience, including management level.
