The way I've broken in all the gloves Ive owned is by pouring hot water from a kettle into the glove, i did that with my p4 a couple of times and now it's perfect!
My 500 glove has been broken in since the day I got it. As soon as I put it on I could squeeze it shut. I actually had more of an issue being able to open it all the way. Sorry you didn't have a smooth relationship
i thought i was the only one! My glove some days is broken in and other days its as hard as a rock. I've stopped fighting it and have gone back to my p4 glove.
I know this is an older video so hopefully you are able to see this. I am looking at buying these pads used as an upgrade for my suuuuper old pads. So the question is, 7 years later are these still ok pads? Would they be worth getting today?
The pads lasted me through my time playing for San Jose State, so they are super dependable and will last a loooong time. However, they are dated now and much heavier than pads on the market today. I recently upgraded to ccm extreme flex 5.5 and have been super happy with them. CCM usually has three of the same pads at different prices and quality. If you want the cheapest version it'll last a shorter time, if you want a pad that will last a decade you'll have to go bankrupt for it. I'd suggest paying for a lower priced CCm eflex 5 pad. It will cost more than what I have in this video, but trust me when I say that everything I love about these original pads got better with the CCM eflex 5.5. I hope that helps!
i don't think they're heavy, but there are lighter pads on the market. If your coming from vaughns it will feel the same. if your coming from bauers then you'll feel a slight difference in weight.
I'm gonna sub because i'm back in net again and you covered this pretty good. But seriously how tiny are you? my god your legs look like my 2 year olds arms haha, no offense.
Nice video, check out mine my vaughn gloves. I'm thinking about getting these but how is the five hole coverage do the seal or atleast overlap, I have a 35+2 larceny and have a hard time closing my five hole

@Josh Kelly I would like to see your technique and equipment, do you have any videos of them right now?
i made it so i could let the pros see their video haha.I think it would be kinda cool to see a video of you that a fan made.

btw use thigh guards! they will save your life bud... i use old ones that were on "Tour" pads... they work great
i use vaughn thigh guards but I don't like them because they are always falling down my leg.
ok... no one likes thigh guards lol
XxMayoProductionsxX just wrap tape around the velcro
Eww thigh guards... Knee pads are so much more mobile, comfortable and protective.
where i live thigh boards are illegal
How tall are you?
what chest do you use
Do you use knee guards ?
Yes, i use Vaughn Knee guards but small ones due to the fact my legs are a sad excuse to mankind haha.
yes i use vaughn
i dont because i find them very uncomfortable and i dont need them because i could be a leg model :)
You have twitter ?
i'll buy the glove for $250
