A couple of things that didn't work perfectly for me: * Had to set the filesystem to FAT32 rather than NTFS for the USB drive for it to be recognized as a bootable drive by my machine * After restoring the image to a different hard drive, I was getting an "INACCESIBLE BOOT DEVICE" windows error. Turns out I had Bitlocker enabled on the original drive, to fix it I had to start windows in Safe Mode then enter the Bitlocker recovery key.
Does clonezilla in creating an image of the os with all your personal data in it, include only the “c:” partition or every partition of the internal hard disk?
is it possible the nackup file from clonezilla (usb flashdrive) can be restored to VM (vmware, virtualbox, proxmox) etc. hope you can show it. thank you and great work
