I have the ghost pack and I LOVE IT! Unparalleled quality and durability! I’m really considering this bag for work as I commute everywhere and need a compact bag for all of my essentials.
You convinced me. I just placed an order (5 minutes ago) and used your discount code. It worked like a charm. I was vacillating between this bag and the Maxpedition Last Resort but the extra width of the Direct Action bag and the availability of numerous different colors pushed me over to the Direct Action bag. The discount code was also a big factor. Thanks a lot for the review and helping us fellow RUclipsrs out and Merry Christmas.
I did exactly what you say: I bought a product. I already have a Small messenger bag and a waist pack foxtrot, and I must say that I am surprised that I have detected Direct action only now. Namely, I have a lot of Helicon products, but I did not know that there is another brand of excellent quality. Excellent review.
Got mine yesterday. Quality feels excellent. It was a very tight fit, but I actually managed to fit my 15" Macbook Pro in the Laptop compartment, locked with the velcro tab too.
I never had a problem with the backpack but I swapped for a new Vanquest bag. Link below. My wife uses the Direct Action as her GHB now. ruclips.net/video/6hGGXye4QyU/видео.html
I've been toting the 5.11 Side Trip briefcase for about 1.5 years now. Reminds me of this bag although it doesn't fold over like a messenger bag. It's bigger, but I wish it had the compartment organization this one has in the front pockets. It does have a concealed carry compartment though which is nice. May look at this one when they make one to hold a 17" laptop. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, it's amazing bag, and I need something to keep all the laptop stuff together. But, I have a MSI GT72 17.3" gaming rig. Go figure. Thanks anyway for the review.
Hi Harley. Thank you for the wonderful review. On the back of that I bought one. Must say it is everything you said and more. The best laptop/EDC bag I have ever owned. Keep up the great work and take care.
Perfect ! Thank you sir.Your outstanding review of this piece of gear settled all my concerns. I'll order one Monday. Excellent review sir. Job well done.
So the part that has the velcro for ccw is under the flap??!! So you have to un-buckle both front buckles then open flap to get to ccw?? I'm thinking not best messenger bag...now if there's a back zipper pouch with velcro...yes..this bag would be sweet as hell..idk if there is or not but that would make it or break it for me if I couldn't draw fast.
well, after watching this video and a few others I decide to order one. the bag is very nice and it fits my surface book like a glove. I just wish it had a better setup for my concealed carry gun... the middle compartment is just two hard to get to if there was a situation that required quick action. my vertx messenger bag does the concealed thing very well... own compartment that is easy to get to but some what hard to see for others. this compartment is also separate from the laptop area which keeps the pistol concealed if I need to get my laptop out around people.
It seems pretty nice, albeit on the small side for traveling and day to day carry. While it may be suitable for some, I sure wish they would make one that fully utilizes the allowable carry-on personal item dimension limits (19"x13"x8" - in addition to the carry-on bag of 22"x14"x9") that would maximize the available carrying capacity while traveling as well as for day to day use. How about a slightly larger version of this?
I was about to buy this off amazon for about 20 bucks more, but thanks to your code I now purchased both the bag and a 12 pack of beer for what it would have cost from Amazon. Cheers!
Bro.. why did you have to make this video? I'm a sucker for this kind of thing. I've been using the Discreet V2 messenger bag by HSGI and I have no reason to replace it other than wanting this bag now. Thanks for enabling me with this piece of gear. I also love that is has the hook and loop on the outside for my cool patches :) Great video.
+UrbanArmed I'm so weak. "THANK YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE!Your order # is: 100000613.You will receive an order confirmation email with details of your order and a link to track its progress."
I'm police officer, looking to replace my traditional duty bag with something more practical. I want to affix a mag and IFAK to outside which this clearly will support. My concern is interior dimensions - can I put legal size folders inside for paperwork or will they get crushed. I hate the large rectangular traditional duty bags that are huge. I like the storage, molle and quality of this bag... just need it to store paperwork though... nice review.
What is your take on the small messenger bag from Direct Action? I fear this one may be a big on the large side given I will be using it in the city yet I like certain specific aspects of the larger variant. Also, is the coupon code still working?
i have no doubt the quality will be just as amazing. I still carry this one daily and i absolutely love it. To my knowledge, the code should still work. Let me know if it's not and i'll contact them.
Yeah it's really an awesome messenger bag but the only thing i finded bad was the bottle compartment. Other brands offer different kind of better solutions.
Thanks! This video helped me decide between the Direct Action Dust backpack or this Messenger Bag for daily commute and work stuff (GHB too)... I have the GHOST and love it! The coupon code gave 10% off, so thanks again!
Another great review, however for a conceal carry, I don't think it will work for me. I need the CCW area to be more hidden. Great bag though and amaziing price.
+Dong Quy yes, i actually address that in the video. It doesn't fit in the back compartment, but it fits in the front. I have a macbook pro also. Still carry this every day
Your reviews were the first time I had seen direct action gear and purchase both The Ghost and the messenger bag. The messenger bag has the main strap that goes over your shoulder but also inside the bag zipper pocket is another small strap that's confusing to me. I watched your video again to see if you discussed it and if you did I missed it
I went to their site and the ranger green looks exactly like this , can't really tell with their color diagram if it's the green I'm looking for . Thanks !
Looks like a great bag, but I'm a cheapo. Perhaps I'm blind, I couldn't find the discount code. Could you post it again? Thanks for bringing this fine product to my attention.
Hey my friend--I sincerely appreciate your review of this great bag. I own the Dragon Egg and use it daily--freaking amazing comfort and quality. However, I need another style bag to compliment my Dragon Egg. There are times I will swap out a backpack and messenger style on a regular basis. Question--I want to be able to put my DSLR Canon in the messenger by Direct Action you own, along with an extra lens. Could this work? Or could I configure (purchase the necessary hook and loop orange PADS from Vanquest) my DSLR camera in the main compartment? Someone on Amazon that reviewed this particular bag said it was a no go to pack in a DSLR camera???. But from looking at the pics of the actual bag on Direct Action's website it would appear I could make this work. Maybe I couldn't travel with the Macbook Pro 13" at he same time??? Bottom line---I am hoping to carry my 1. Macbook Pro 13", 2. DLSR Canon EOS 70D with a lens attached, 3. an extra/separate lens, 4. pair of Bose travel headphones and 5. a very compressible down jacket. Could this my managed in the main compartment for when I travel? I could also use the front pockets for the Bose headphones possibly, a Anker battery bank and my laptop power cord? I love the size----see most people get "huge" messenger style bags and fill them completely up and then they become to heavy and are worthless--I have done this one too many times--I actually love this size as it's not too big and not too small. BTW, I am positive Direct Action could keep the same size and make one small configuration to carry your 15" or just convert to a 13" as I did. I do wish they bottle holder carried at least a 27 oz Klean Kanteen--NOT a deal breaker though. Last, I love the Vertex bag you reviewed as well and I am curious why you switched over to Direct Action? You can't really conceal with Direct Action's can you? Your Vertex did look bigger and this could be a deal breaker for me. Anyway, the Vertex had some nice options. Buddy, I am glad I found your channel and can't wait to hear back from you. I figured since you own the bag (Direct Action medium Messenger bag that is) you know what can and can't fit in the main compartment. I am really hoping I can figure this to carry my Canon DSLR with an attached lens, extra lens, Bose headphones, Macbook Pro 13" and a very compressible jacket as stated above....let me know Harley. Again, thank you for taking the time to put out some great videos sir....
+Shane G thanks man. I also reviewed their Ghost backpack. It's by far my favorite yet. Not sure how this would work as a camera bag. I've always used bags that fold all the way open. This one might be a little restricted by only accessing from the top. If you already use a messenger bag though, this might be perfect for you. Thanks for watching.
Looks like a great carry bag. I don't understand the bags inside of bags mentality though. What is the use in having a compartment heavy bag if you are just going to put everything in another bag before putting that in the carry bag? Seems unnecessary and it has to ad a bunch of weight with no net gain. Sweet bag though no doubt.
Chris Clark It's much easier to manage especially the little tool kit. All that crap would just pile up in the bottom of the built-in pocket and be hard to find what you needed.
I was looking at this bag online and I noticed it had a zipper pocket on the reverse side of the bag (the side that would lay against the body).... Do they have a Velcro loop field in that pocket?
That is what i was thinking. That is the setup that the 5.11 Rush Delivery bag has, as you may or may not know and I like that design. Thanks for the quick response. I have a lot to consider.
+HarleyWood23 thank you... I couldn't decide grey or ranger green.. Going with the grey.. Probably will buy this messenger bag for my kids in college. Great review.
Great video brother, just what I needed to make my decision. Thanks for taking the time to post a solid review. Would you happen to have a valid discount code for 2016? Thanks!
check out my review of the backpack. I left it in the bed of my truck during an all-night storm. Contents stayed completely dry. ruclips.net/video/Q3QGLeesKnc/видео.html
Yeah, that and laptop pouch being so small are the only things that put me off. I'm looking at the vertx courier, vanquest envoy 3.0, and the first tactical ascend bag.
Whew. That’s touch. Like choosing your favorite kid. I don’t have the Vanquest version, but I held it at Shot Show this year. I have several of their backpacks as well. In terms of quality, they’re both great. It probably boils down to your personal preferences on the aesthetics and internal organization setups. Also, I believe Vanquest has one that fits the bigger laptops better. I wish this one did.
It’s still a good choice but I have gone through a few smaller options the last few years. Here’s what I’m using now: ruclips.net/video/4Pb_qHQVFyM/видео.html
Piece of crap. Stitching is terrible. Mine had loose threads all over and the lazer cut molle started coming apart and more loose threads! Fell apart in 3 month's! Cant even compare it to Macpedition or Vanquest.
+Teresa Diaz hey Teresa. Please try now. The code seems to be working. I just tested on my end too and the discount works. www.screencast.com/t/usvC5GUw9auN
Thanks! I love this bag and i just ordered this but i would like to have an expandable pocket like others packs of Direct Action.Although great review! Keep going. (A subscirber from Greece).
computer repair tech of more than 20 years here. and i dont know much about tactical military gear. but one thing i do know is computers and computer bags, and this bag is worthless as a laptop bag from what i see, the laptop pockets look like they have absolutely no padding in there. anything hard inside the bag will bump up and ding/dent/crack your laptop. and if there is no padding on the floor every time you set your laptop down you are going to hear a strong thud like you just layed it down on concrete. your hard drive and your lcd screen are very delicate. please stick to tactical stuff and leave the computer stuff to the techs. get a nice thick padded laptop bag. or get a memory foam laptop sleeve to put inside of this bag because the padding is a joke. actually you know what? forget everything i just said and carry on. go ahead and put your laptop in this bag. and come to me for your soon to be needed repairs. my next trip to outback steakhouse will be on you. yes this is a great bag.
The "lid" flap is not padded. You're correct there. The rest of the bag is. In fact, my toddler son pulled this off a barstool (with my MacBook Pro in it), and not a scratch. Did I just get lucky? Perhaps. But to say it's not padded at all is untrue. Thanks for watching.
+HarleyWood23 yes you got lucky indeed. it only takes a couple of inches drop to damage a hard drive. unless you have a solid state drive with no moving parts. this is really no padding at all when you compare it to some very standard dell laptop bags or any other half decent manufacturer who will use at least 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch memory foam, and the fact that this is tactical automatically should include shtf situations in my book. i mean lets say there was a flood or a fire and you needed to grab your stuff and run, not walk. the first good bump against a door frame on the way out would be the end for that laptop. one good thing about macbook pros that i can tell you is this. sometimes you will get lucky with a mac but not always because of the fact that they use a malleable outside metal shell that crumples. i have seen macs get dropped on a corner and survive because the metal dented inwards. this act of denting absorbs some of the shock similar to modern cars crumpling vs old card being solid tanks but its just a matter of luck. how many times have you dropped a glass cup and had it shatter? but im sure a couple of times it stayed intact. trust me and you wont regret this, spend 10 bucks on this 1/4 inch thick memory foam laptop sleeve and you will instantly triple your laptop protection. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B680ZY6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 put the laptop in the sleeve first then put it in the bag and you will be bulletproof. also since you already dropped your laptop, if you have a mechanical hard drive it may be damaged but you dont know it yet. it might of developed bad sectors which will eventually cause failure some time down the road. download a hard drive health checker and scan your drive. look for reallocated/bad sectors. your number should be 0. if you have any bad sectors at all your hard drive has taken a hit and you should keep your time machine backups on time because your hard drive is compromised.
Your wearing Mandels, all your gear looks brand new with no wear. You can clearly tell you have way too much time on your hands and too much money to spend on gear you do not need.
I said in the video that I just got it. Of course it fuckin looks new. No idea what Mandels are. Perhaps you can enlighten us with your constructive wisdom?
+HarleyWood23 It's not just the bag, it's also all the neat little never been used kits you keep inside of it. I came across your video looking for a laptop/tool bag for work. I was trying to find an actual review of someone who put this bag through hard use and can tell me if it is worth buying or not, I don't think you understand what a review is. If you just bought the bag, you can't give a review on it as you don't know how the quality will hold up. Keep up the good vids tough guy. Keep spending the money Mr suburban wannabe, I wanted to find a guys review on a tool bag, you are a boy playing with toys.
+Not that Guy I'm not angry. I just have no patience for people who talk shit behind a keyboard. Next time, try a different approach and you might get the answers you originally sought. Try something like, "hey man, are you still using this? How's it holding up?" But instead you immediately start saying shit you wouldn't dare say in person. Typical troll.
Merry Christmas to you as well. You'll love this bag. I still carry it every day. Let me know what you think when you get it.
I purchased the messenger bag two weeks ago and it is truly a quality product. It's everything you describe and more.
Awesome man. Good to hear. I still use mine daily.

Thanks man. I still use this bag today. It’s fantastic and hard to find one better.
I've used there Ghost backpack for a long time. It's a tank. Just ordered one of these for work. Everything D.A. puts out it's quality.
I agree. I'm still using this bag today. It is a beast.
Got mine yesterday. Quality feels excellent. It was a very tight fit, but I actually managed to fit my 15" Macbook Pro in the Laptop compartment, locked with the velcro tab too.
Danne Stenbäck
Awesome. I still use this bag 95% of the time. It’s held up great all these years. Thanks for watching
HarleyWood23 That sounds good. What about the backpack? Still using that too? Holding up as well?
I never had a problem with the backpack but I swapped for a new Vanquest bag. Link below. My wife uses the Direct Action as her GHB now.
ruclips.net/video/6hGGXye4QyU/видео.html
bummed... the 10% does take it down but almost 20 bucks in shipping kills it.
it's only money and this bag will last you for years.
You convinced me. I ordered one yesterday from Direct Action, using the discount code. Thanks!
Just a thanks for demonstrating the finer aspects of this bag. Found it very useful and did end up acquiring on for myself.
Thats a cool review for sure? What maxpedition pouch is your toolkit in the right frontbag?
Appears to be a very nice bag.
well, after watching this video and a few others I decide to order one. the bag is very nice and it fits my surface book like a glove.
I wish this bag had more organisational pockets, the top pocket on the Maxpedition Mongo is perfect for EDC stuff...
I’ll be releasing my review of the Maxpedition Entiry 23 this weekend. I think you’ll like it
Looks great but they no longer offer the gray. It's OD Green or a camo pattern.
How about a slightly larger version of this?
sdushdiu how big do you want a bag to be ? If it's too big you will give yourself a Hernia
sdushdiu I was thinking the same thing on making them carry on size. Good idea. Ignore the haters. They just want to push their limitations on us.
still waiting and looking for a bag that will hold a 17" laptop securely... :/
alzathoth me too
use the backpack instead of the bag lol
I was about to buy this off amazon for about 20 bucks more, but thanks to your code I now purchased both the bag and a 12 pack of beer for what it would have cost from Amazon. Cheers!
ha. you won't regret it man. This bag rocks.
nice bag sir. waiting on 15.6 version. Hooah ?
Is there a discount code for 2016?? Thanks again for the review. Looks like the perfect EDC bag for me.
Best review I've seen so far. Thank you.
Bro.. why did you have to make this video? I'm a sucker for this kind of thing. I've been using the Discreet V2 messenger bag by HSGI and I have no reason to replace it other than wanting this bag now. Thanks for enabling me with this piece of gear. I also love that is has the hook and loop on the outside for my cool patches :) Great video.
+UrbanArmed Damnit.. I'm already in the checkout on their website....
+UrbanArmed I'm so weak. "THANK YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE!Your order # is: 100000613.You will receive an order confirmation email with details of your order and a link to track its progress."
+UrbanArmed ha. You won't regret it bro. This thing is amazing.
Yes, it will fit legal size paper. It fits my 15" laptop with no problem, so the 14" legal paper should be fine.
Can someone please do a review on the Direct Action Small messenger bag?
Great review on this bag by the way. Thanks
Arent you required to give attribution to Kevin McLeod when you use his tracks? Or did you buy them?
Yeah it's really an awesome messenger bag but the only thing i finded bad was the bottle compartment. Other brands offer different kind of better solutions.
yeah, that's a fair point. I wish that bottle holder was just a big larger or maybe more elastic. It's very stiff.
Great review. After using it for over a year have you had any problems with materials tearing or buckles or zippers breaking?
shellmaker10
Not a single problem. Still carry it to work every single day.
Wow that was fast! Thanks I think I will pick one up.
Hi! Really nice looking bag, which color is it? Ranger green or shadow grey?
Shadow Gray. Thanks for watching
I'd like more zippered external pockets, but with all those MOLLE points, maybe I can find a solution.
I’m still wanting a Triple Aught Design Dispatch messenger bag...
Thanks! This video helped me decide between the Direct Action Dust backpack or this Messenger Bag for daily commute and work stuff (GHB too)... I have the GHOST and love it! The coupon code gave 10% off, so thanks again!
good to hear. I reviewed the Ghost too. Everything they make is top-notch.
I still prefer the Vanquest Envoy 3.0. Way better bag!
help me choose helikon urban messenger bag vs direct action messenger bag mk2 please
Another great review, however for a conceal carry, I don't think it will work for me. I need the CCW area to be more hidden. Great bag though and amaziing price.
I love your review. However, I have a question regarding its size. Does a Macbook 15 inch fit ?
+Dong Quy yes, i actually address that in the video. It doesn't fit in the back compartment, but it fits in the front. I have a macbook pro also. Still carry this every day
Your reviews were the first time I had seen direct action gear and purchase both The Ghost and the messenger bag. The messenger bag has the main strap that goes over your shoulder but also inside the bag zipper pocket is another small strap that's confusing to me. I watched your video again to see if you discussed it and if you did I missed it
Ah. I didn’t cover that. It’s a waist strap. So for bike messengers and such.
Is yours the "Ranger Green"
, good review !
Mine is the gray.
I went to their site and the ranger green looks exactly like this , can't really tell with their color diagram if it's the green I'm looking for .
Thanks !
In 2018 it’s like $78
Looks like a great bag, but I'm a cheapo.
Perhaps I'm blind, I couldn't find the discount code.
Could you post it again?
Thanks for bringing this fine product to my attention.

Not sure how this would work as a camera bag. I've always used bags that fold all the way open. This one might be a little restricted by only accessing from the top. If you already use a messenger bag though, this might be perfect for you.

thanks for sharing, great review and I was already looking at one with the kryptek camo. sweet looking bag for sure...
Yeah. I forgot to mention all the color options. So many to choose from. Thanks for watching.
+HarleyWood23 👍👍👍
I was looking at this bag online and I noticed it had a zipper pocket on the reverse side of the bag (the side that would lay against the body).... Do they have a Velcro loop field in that pocket?

Unfortunately no. Woulda made a great conceal carry section.
That is what i was thinking. That is the setup that the 5.11 Rush Delivery bag has, as you may or may not know and I like that design. Thanks for the quick response. I have a lot to consider.
what brand is the green duffel behind the Ghost backpack ?
bjarne martens VooDoo Tactical
No chance of an extension on the coupon code? GREAT REVIEW!!!!
+Jack Culotta you didn't hear this from me, but i bet if you called and mentioned the expired discount, they might hook you up. ;-)
+HarleyWood23 Roger that!
Was looking at the dragon egg for my edc /day pack.. Hard to really tell the colors on the site. Is this bag ranger green?
No sir. This is the gray
+HarleyWood23 thank you... I couldn't decide grey or ranger green.. Going with the grey.. Probably will buy this messenger bag for my kids in college. Great review.
+yabazooee you won't be disappointed. This gray is the best I've seen in tactical bags.
What is the inner size of main compartment?
Great video brother, just what I needed to make my decision. Thanks for taking the time to post a solid review. Would you happen to have a valid discount code for 2016? Thanks!
How's the water resistance of this bag?
Any problems with water getting into the main compartment during rainstorms?
None at all. The flap fully covers the inner compartment, including overlapping on the sides.
check out my review of the backpack. I left it in the bed of my truck during an all-night storm. Contents stayed completely dry. ruclips.net/video/Q3QGLeesKnc/видео.html
Nice pack and great review but it's too small for my laptop. In fact, it's pretty small overall.
yes thanks!i visited the website and im going to buy it😉good brand. i appreciated their quality👌🏻
I don't like that it doesn't have a separate CCW pouch in the rear of this bag.
Buying the bag off their website (with the discount code) is almost $20 cheaper than buying it on Amazon. Thank you HarleyWood23.
+Chuck D sweet man. let me know what you think when you get it.
dude, you say the strap goes all the way down and makes a loop wich adds lot of support... but it comes to a plastic conector in each side...
Polish proud, Helikon DA Series
Is that the shadow or urban grey?
This is the shadow grey.
Is that color the shadow grey?
Yes
awesome bag , Great video
Does the zippered pouch on the back have loop?
Unfortunately no. That would have made it perfect for a gun holster and mags.
Yeah, that and laptop pouch being so small are the only things that put me off. I'm looking at the vertx courier, vanquest envoy 3.0, and the first tactical ascend bag.
HAHAHAHA, its just 99 dollars HAHHAHA
thanks for the review. you sold me on it.
you're welcome. You'll love it. i still use it for work every day.
you should try vanquest bag bro!
I've reviewed those on the channel as well. Another great manufacturer. Thanks for watching.
Here's one I reviewed: ruclips.net/video/CbMroUGVFiw/видео.html
great! thanks man!
actually it cost ca. 240 pln which is about 60 USD...
Welp, just ordered a coyote brown
Awesome. Let me know what you think of it.
Do you have a new coupon code?
+Highplains 45 the code still works. I just tried it to verify.
Thanks. Very good review.
This or vanquest?
How is it holding up in 2022?
It’s still a good choice but I have gone through a few smaller options the last few years. Here’s what I’m using now:

Not as good as the vanquest messenger bag..and u can get the 511 bag with more features for same price and doesnt look as tacticool.
ok thank you
They need to make molle clothes, so everything is modular.
very nice review, thank you. :-)
Piece of crap. Stitching is terrible. Mine had loose threads all over and the lazer cut molle started coming apart and more loose threads! Fell apart in 3 month's! Cant even compare it to Macpedition or Vanquest.
sorry to hear that. you must've got a lemon. I still use this bag every single day and it hasn't so much as broken a single thread.
great video .. your code isn't working any more
Hey Teresa. I've reached out to Direct Action to look into it. I should hear back in the next day or so.
+Teresa Diaz hey Teresa. Please try now. The code seems to be working. I just tested on my end too and the discount works. www.screencast.com/t/usvC5GUw9auN
Will it fit a 32 ounce nalgene?
No. Maybe a tall skinny bottle but not a typical 32 Nalgene.
Thanks! I love this bag and i just ordered this but i would like to have an expandable pocket like others packs of Direct Action.Although great review! Keep going. (A subscirber from Greece).
+Eleftherios Liratzis thanks man. I also reviewed their Ghost backpack. Just as high-quality. Video here: ruclips.net/video/Q3QGLeesKnc/видео.html
I also have their Ghost backpack and I made it a ''Lightweight Bug Out Bag'' but I haven't end this project.
Thanks
How many times did he use the word "nice". Great review though. But "theres a nice.."
Be nice
Don't mind me, great review though mate. keep it up.
Ha. Thanks man. I was teasing you by saying "nice" again in my reply.
$99 for a laptop bag that doesnt hold a full sized laptop and doesn't carry a 16oz water bottle.....no thanks
computer repair tech of more than 20 years here. and i dont know much about tactical military gear. but one thing i do know is computers and computer bags, and this bag is worthless as a laptop bag from what i see, the laptop pockets look like they have absolutely no padding in there. anything hard inside the bag will bump up and ding/dent/crack your laptop.
and if there is no padding on the floor every time you set your laptop down you are going to hear a strong thud like you just layed it down on concrete. your hard drive and your lcd screen are very delicate. please stick to tactical stuff and leave the computer stuff to the techs. get a nice thick padded laptop bag. or get a memory foam laptop sleeve to put inside of this bag because the padding is a joke.
actually you know what? forget everything i just said and carry on. go ahead and put your laptop in this bag. and come to me for your soon to be needed repairs. my next trip to outback steakhouse will be on you. yes this is a great bag.
+HarleyWood23 yes you got lucky indeed. it only takes a couple of inches drop to damage a hard drive. unless you have a solid state drive with no moving parts. this is really no padding at all when you compare it to some very standard dell laptop bags or any other half decent manufacturer who will use at least 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch memory foam,
and the fact that this is tactical automatically should include shtf situations in my book. i mean lets say there was a flood or a fire and you needed to grab your stuff and run, not walk. the first good bump against a door frame on the way out would be the end for that laptop. one good thing about macbook pros that i can tell you is this.
sometimes you will get lucky with a mac but not always because of the fact that they use a malleable outside metal shell that crumples. i have seen macs get dropped on a corner and survive because the metal dented inwards. this act of denting absorbs some of the shock similar to modern cars crumpling vs old card being solid tanks but its just a matter of luck. how many times have you dropped a glass cup and had it shatter? but im sure a couple of times it stayed intact.
trust me and you wont regret this, spend 10 bucks on this 1/4 inch thick memory foam laptop sleeve and you will instantly triple your laptop protection. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B680ZY6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
put the laptop in the sleeve first then put it in the bag and you will be bulletproof.
also since you already dropped your laptop, if you have a mechanical hard drive it may be damaged but you dont know it yet. it might of developed bad sectors which will eventually cause failure some time down the road. download a hard drive health checker and scan your drive. look for reallocated/bad sectors. your number should be 0.
if you have any bad sectors at all your hard drive has taken a hit and you should keep your time machine backups on time because your hard drive is compromised.
would this hold a 32 ounce nalgene bottle
no sir
like for grandma lol
Your wearing Mandels, all your gear looks brand new with no wear. You can clearly tell you have way too much time on your hands and too much money to spend on gear you do not need.
I said in the video that I just got it. Of course it fuckin looks new. No idea what Mandels are. Perhaps you can enlighten us with your constructive wisdom?
+HarleyWood23
It's not just the bag, it's also all the neat little never been used kits you keep inside of it.
+Not that Guy ok keyboard commando. you obviously haven't watched much of my channel.
+HarleyWood23
You're so angry, you honestly can't take a little negative criticism? You're a bigger wuss then I originally thought.
