I heard them when they started 13 years ago an thought, "WTF is this, its absurd but I like it. Crazy juxtaposition." But even then I'd never have imagined they'd still be around 13 years later and have gotten even better. Their sound has matured a lot and I love their more recent albums. And their most recent collaboration with Electric Callboy just makes me laugh because it's just fun to listen to it, so much energy.

Iam an old skool metal fan, but there’s something so goddamn infectious about this act that I can’t help but smile. Plus, Rob Halford seems to be absolutely smitten with them, so that’s all the endorsement needed right.
This is cool, it's really venturing into Japanese dance tradition with the Soran Bushi and "Dokkoisho" chant. It's what students dance groups dance all over the country.

Many of my friends in high school back in the 60s were Japanese Americans and this is in Lodi California. What a wonderful time that was. You could make a movie out of it and it would be a box office success. My heart goes with BABY METAL.

I have been at their live show in Munich and it was boring af. Since there was 0 crowd interaction it felt like they just grabbed the money and ran away with it. I am glad they show some actual personality in this video here. I wonder if that is a strategic decision and something they changed just recently or if they simply have a lot more fun at festivals in daylight conditions.
