When to prune roses?
Gardening in zone 7b. Giardina by Rosen Tantau - This rose was bought in 2020 and planted during autumn time. In this video it is the end of february 2024 and it is the perfect time to prune this rose and start training its new canes.

Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (1940-2007) (Germany, 1997).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 2008 as 'Giardina'.
Introduced in France by Roseraies Orard in 2012 as 'L'Alhambra'.
Light pink, lighter edges. Moderate, fruity, sweet fragrance. 70 to 80 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Medium, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, quartered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Tall, climbing.
Height: 9'10" to 13'1" (300 to 400cm).
Can be used for cut flower, garden, pillar or specimen.
