Hi Sevy. What a wonderful video of this beautiful village in the snow. Indeed the peacefulness on a snowy night like this is so good for the mind. All the chaos these days in the world makes u scared. I totally aggree with u prevering walking in the snow is much better then these partybars. But its everyones own choise. I enjoy your walk with my coffee. Keep it up its magic those walks. Greetings Angelic The Netherlands😊🌨☃👍
What a beautiful night! Personally, not particularly fond of any bars but not a hater, either. For me? A nice quiet coffee shop, a good book and a couple of hours, providing they don't need my table. Or a very late-night walk. Your videos are spot on for me. Thank you!😊
I can imagine you would be sitting next to the window in one of these vintage houses with a cup of tea or coffee and a thick book to read, cozy and peaceful... and then out of nowhere a mysterious guy with a weird camera comes by. 😆
Very atmospheric video, smooth shooting motion, sparks of snow, warm light of lanterns, fabulous streets of the old city, magic is hidden somewhere...👍👍👍
Just found this page. I traveled solo to Finland in 2016 from Philadelphia. I went and spent a night in Old Town Porvoo. I was there in late November and snow had not hit yet. Watching this video definitely takes me back to when I had the chance to walk these roads myself. Lots of wonderful memories. Thanks so much for this video, it’s just what I needed today.
Hey Steven, glad to see this scene was fun, i was so happy to be in the right place at the right time, the way the snow falls so softly combined with the vintage orange streetlights. i'm just glad that i was able to film the evening. Thank you 🤗
Thank you so much for this video, and for all of your wonderful videos! These are perfect to watch when I want to get cozy at home and enjoy the beautiful scenery, the quiet, and the sound of crunching snow.
Hello, and thank you for the wonderful video of your walk. I'm from Canada, but emmigrated to England in the 90s, I used to love walking in the snow, the more massive the snow fall the better! Unfortunately we mostly have rain here in England, but sometimes it snows. I have a friend in Turku, do you ever go there?
Good evening, i would like to visit Canada in winter, it looks beautiful too. England is the land of eternal rain, a certain charm. I've been to Turku several times, i'm thinking of going again next winter, a beautiful, historic city. Thanks for watching
Good to see you Tom, i was super excited filming this scene, the snow was falling so softly and it was wonderfully quiet, greetings to the land down under 🙃
Good evening Angelic, the temperature (-6°c) was not too cold for my feet to get cold, i also wear thick socks. -10°c or more is where i can get cold after being outside for hours, it also depends on how active i am, as long as you stay active the body will keep warming up, but when the nights come down to -20°c or more i often use heating pads in my clothes.
@@ScenesBySevy Yes, even the coldest cold is manageable if you keep moving. Once you stop it's only a matter of time until you start to feel it! Lovely video friend, love watching these.
I've been watching a few of these videos lately and I have to ask... is blue interior lighting a popular thing to have in houses at night? i swear it's either blue or purple low light in every third window.
Good evening, i agree that there is a lot of bright, cold interior lighting going on in the video. It is a combination of settings that play with the filter on the camera and color correction. The original street lighting is a very deep orange, which i think the camera captured too harshly. I tried to grade the color so that the overall look becomes softer. This apparently makes bright lights appear louder than in reality.
@@ScenesBySevy That said... don't change a thing! The lighting makes the town looks so beautiful at night. I read that Finland has the happiest population in the world, and with your videos i think I can see why!
thanks to you i love winter and snow
This is a beautiful and amazing and awesome video, I love 💕 it so much.thank you so much 😊😊😊
Good evening Angela, glad you enjoyed this walk, the snow fell very slowly, thank you and have a nice week 👋

@@ScenesBySevy Weird is good, I like weird. It's creepy that can stay away. And yes, the window, especially if the day is rainy/foggy or snowy.
Just waw ❤. Thank you

Welcome Anthony, do you think you will return to Porvoo in the future?
Porvoo can also be seen briefly in the 1997 film 'The Jackal'
I can only hope that one day I can make it back. Longer this time, I know there is still so much to see!

Btw that cnispering sound from walking in the snow is so nice. Was wondering if u really have cold feet at the end of a walkin the snow🥶
