- A WOMAN POLICE OFFICER WAS TEXTING WHILST DRIVING IN SLOW MOVING TRAFFIC.
IT IS STILL ILLEGAL EVEN IF IT IS IN A HOLDER TO DO MULTIPLE PRESSES ON A MOBILE PHONE WHILST IN CHARGE OF A VEHICLE.
I POINTED THIS OUT TO HER, SHE DIDIN'T SEEM VERY BOTHERED TBH BUT SHE STOPPED TEXTING SO ALLS WELL THAT ENDS WELL.

They don’t seem to give a crap about the rules for themselves. But you do it next to her and she would probably pull you over
Yup, very possibly they would. It was a British transport police van so I'm unsure on their jurisdiction, but I'd think they'd have the powers to do anyone for that offence.

I would have taken that footage to the station and file a complaint, if that was anyone else they would get in trouble for that. Police are not above the law and this behaviour is not acceptable
She was probably just asking her mate what time Carr Lane Foods closes at 🍔🍟🥪
50 quid says if reported the answer will be its a service phone and she was looking up license plates and owner information or something. Could be true but the average copper is just as dumb and bad a driving as the rest of us so probably not.

I'm not anti 👮♂️👮♀️🚔 but they are - and should be - held to account & be setting an example.
