When you activate a Runick quick play going 2nd You have to manually declare BP but it will get skipped Then go directly to EP I had this clarified by head judge
Yeah pretty sure i said that in the video. More or less, I think i also mentioned a potentially accepted shortcut on db but times has passed since I posted this.
0:30 what I meant it is once per turn and you can use it on both players turn once each, but also worth mentioning is that its a soft once per turn meaning if you draw more of them and activate more of them you could resolve the draw multiple times on your own turn. Live edits aren't forgiving with mistakes.
hugin not beating raigeki is a wierd interaction, didnt know that one. one thing to note is that if you have activated a runick card, you cannot enter m2 as you cannot enter bp. Ive caught a few people where they say enter bp, forget its skipped, then try to do stuff in m2 (usually runick spright)
Can't substitute its own destruction to protect itself. It says if another card(s), another meaning not itself. Additionally if it were destroyed it would not be there to perform the protection.
This was extremely well put. I loved how you explained all these little details that we need to know to use and to go against a runick engine. If there is anything else that you'd consider worthy of knowing please make a new video, with last banlist not touching the engine I'd love to see if there's anything new you figured out. As a new to runick player i would inmensely appreciate that
If your opponent activates raigeki and in response you chain the runick card that protects from destruction targeting the Hugin so it won;t be destroyed, can you then use the sunstitution effect to protect all your other monsters?
Love the video!! Only thing I wanted to know is if I get my banishing effect if they prevent the first effect. And by prevent, I mean first effect still resolves. EX: my opponent has branded opening in grave and masquerade on field. I activate flashing fire to destroy his masquerade but he protects with branded opening in grave...do I still banish my opponents top card even though masquerade didn't die?
Can Runick cards be activated on my turn after attackers are declared? If so how does that work? So say I went to battle phase and I declared an attack on an opponents special summomed creature, in response I use flashing fire to destroy the creature hes blocking with, would that immediately end my battle phase or would i finish the turn as normal and then skip the next one?
So you cant attempt to activate any of the runick quick play spells when there is already a monster in the extra monster zone? Regardless of which of the 2 effects you're trying to use?
I didn't say that, you can't activate the effect that can't resolve, can't try to summon if there is no where to summon, cannot attempt to banish it lancea has resolved. If lancea has resolved you can use the summon effect if there is a place to summon that's legal available.
@@LegacyCrusaders okay thanks for clarifying I think I confused myself there. One more quick question tho. Since Hugin effect to protect another card is continuous and doesnt activate, am I correct in saying her effect is live while majesty's fiend is on the field?
Dude I can’t believe you can banish 4 of my cards just by destroying one spell/trap. That is so broken. 2 would have been enough, on all of the Runick cards!!!
I just didn't want to rewatch my own video to see if I said somewhere you could play something other then 3 tip. Usually a comment like this means i said something wrong or someone misinterpreted something i said, but I remembered I made a dumb joke in the video, which made me realize what was happening.

Yup in master duel too, you have to manually go through battle phase, it gets skipped but still you have to manually click on battle phase

Activating Fountain's draw effect three or four times in one turn with a dedicated mill deck is always hilarious, even if it's not very practical

Man this really helped clear up some rulings, amazing video.
This is good stuff I knew all of this except for the substitution effect of hugin
If anyone learns 1 thing in these videos I consider it a success.
Incredibly informative. Great content.
What else would you want to see videos about? Questions you have in yugioh?
*Fellow runick player slipping in to see about banishment ruling*
Thanks! Good video.
ywa letz goo another vid , we love to see it :D 🥰 thanks for the dedication G
Great tips thank you

Yeah, it just can't protect if it would be destroyed or if negated.
Let’s go!! Needed this!

Nope no banish

It would cause a replay, and you can choose another attack target, or attack directly.

Yup
So if I go 2nd and I use a runick card I cannot attack that turn right? I thought it was like moonglacia and the NEXT bp
The next battle phase you attempt to enter is the one you skip with runick cards
already put 20 cards to play against my runick and still come out with the victory
If I skip my bp, can my opponent still activate evenly matched?
No
Dude I can’t believe you can banish 4 of my cards just by destroying one spell/trap. That is so broken.
2 would have been enough, on all of the Runick cards!!!
No, you can only play 3 runick tip in your deck.
It took me a while to figure out what you were saying, nice 👌
@@LegacyCrusaders to be fair, it is a very dumb joke that is also hard to understand.
