Finally, an actually competent mill deck. I like that they send the cards to the banished zone to circumvent the fact that most decks have graveyard effects. ( Metaphys, thunder dragons, and gren maju appreciates the help though lol)
They kinda have to because of that exact reason, otherwise milling will ultimately be your opponent’s advantage. I’m surprise they banish the cards face up, still giving your opponent the chance to play them. Imagine banishing Tri-Brigrade, now you just gave them resource, or D.D. monster can still be summon by their effect.

One card I came across that could help is Muscle Draw. Given that Huginn meets it's requirements, and it's the one Mysterune monster you're likely going into half the time at the start, it might be useful. Same goes to hand destruction and card destruction for more consistency and milling the opponents deck. Though my main thought is running any 1 tribute floodgate monsters as well. Mainly Vanity's and Majesty's Fiend. Given that more than half your deck are possible instant fusions, that's free tribute fodder for the Fiends, who might make managing the opponent's plays much easier.
Inferno tempest is a brutal mill in this deck, and this random common card that was never reprinted suddenly jumped up to like $7 a copy in the OCG lol. Really glad you mentioned it!
Taking 3k isn't that hard in a deck that usually sits on one monster. But to be fair Tempest isn't "The next meta breaking card." Just a fun little tech for whoever wants to hummor it. If it resolves, most decks scoop, if it doesn't, chances are you baited a negate or removal. Or at worst you have 1 dead card in an archetype that when it gets rolling can end with over 7 cards in hand (trust me, has happened plenty of times in my testing of it)
6:57 most of the time Lyrilusc XYZ's cant be targeted because of the effect of Colbalt Sparrow, so this effect doesnt actually stop Nightingale from attacking and going into AA.

I got the best success focusing on using Spring as much as possible since its a soft opt effect. You can keep summoning geri to recycle it and use it for extra decks summons with souls to go into beat cop and tribute itself to free up another spot. You can also summon a L4 like pathfinder or library to go into daigusto emeral to recycle geris and plus. You can do this many times in one turn and banish many cards from your opponent's deck with deceit. One day of piece is great in this deck especially since it's very easy to forget about and leave yourself open when going for an OTK, making it easy to dismantle the board invested into to kill you. Also means 1 less card in their deck. It's very fun to draw dispel off of one day of peace and immediately trigger it.

Tried a Sky Rune deck on edopro, absolutely one of my best experiences playing a gimmick deck, on par with Weather Painter after the new support. Now I really want this to be exported into Master Duel soon so that I can banish all copies of the opponent Eldlich.
Been running them as an engine inside my darklord despia deck. As someone with a knack for making creative decks and merging ideas, these three "types" blend together so well. Mysterune, even before finding out what it's based on, already had me sold and now I'm happier cause of the Stay Gold God
