There are more than 1.500 prophecies from Joseph. Let me share at short story about how I’ve been feeling my testimony of the greatest prophet of this glorious restoration. As a young missionary, I have always testified of Joseph in a unique manner, which this I mean, I was very aggressive about it. I have defended Joseph even when, we were attacked physically. For two years The Lord was always testifying to me about the most small detail about Joseph’s life and mission. So when I came home, I thought and ponder about what I had learned in my mission; and a thought came to my mind, along with a strong loving feeling,: Now you know who Joseph was and what he will still do in the future in the church. So now I can solemnly testify this two main truths: JESUS IS THE CHRIST, and Joseph is the main witness of CHRIST for this last dispensation.
I have this book and I really enjoyed it. It also helped to increase my faith and understanding that Brother Joseph was a true prophet, and I still can't figure out how someone could say that he was a fallen prophet because he wasn't. I wish I was half the person that he was. We owe our eternal rewards to this man and I can't wait until the day that I can meet him to say, "Thank you."
My husband and i are going to Nauvoo and Kirtland this July! I can't wait. I love the Prophet Joseph Smith. I was really touched by the tenderness you two showed for him. God bless.

He didn't cover the famous Civil War prophecies of Joseph Smith Jr. in D&C 87 and D&C 130: 12-13. Nor did he point out one that people call a false prophecy in D&C 130: 14-15, while Joseph Smith Jr. was praying to know the time of the second coming he received this cryptic response, "Joseph, my son, if thou livest until thou art eighty five years old, thou shalt see the face of the Son of Man; therefore let this suffice, and trouble me no more on this matter." They call it a false prophecy because Joseph Smith Jr. didn't live until he was 85 years old, and they call it a false prophecy because they erroneously claim it was saying the second coming was in 1890 when Joseph Smith Jr. would have been 85 years old. They ignore that it is an If/Then prophecy. He also could have pointed out in the Old Testament that God told Hezekiah that he would die the next day, but when Hezekiah repented, not only did he not die like God said, he had 10 extra years added to his life and the sun went backwards 10° as a sign. If they applied the same standards for "false" Prophecies to the Bible that they use for The Book Of Mormon and modern prophets, then they would have to call the Bible false also.

Imagine where we could be. [[ Important to Research ]] Abraham Lincoln, I believe, was touched by "Joe Smith" was many called the prophet then. Joseph Smith told Stephen Douglas, at the Smith family's dinner table, that he would become the president one day but if he ever did not defend the saints that he would not be president anymore. In the 1860's Stephen Douglas campaigned against another democratic opponent for the presidency and "Split the democratic votes". In the Debates, the question on "How to deal with the Mormons" was asked to Stephen Douglas and his debate opponent , the first republican and future president Abraham Lincoln. Stephen Douglas answered that he wouldn't side with protecting the saints and Abraham said he would "Plow around them" , as to say that he would not bother the saints and work around them. Douglas lost to the first Republican Presidential winner because of the democratic votes were split. Now, since this event, presidential candidates have a primary to decide on one candidate to send to be their party's nomination to run for presidency. ALSO, during Joseph and Hyrum Smith's incarceration in jail, Abraham Lincoln's roommate knew Joseph Smith and wrote in his diary that he and his roommates were headed to Cartridge Jail, to help defend the Prophet in trail. Before they arrive, on the trail, the were told of the murders of Joseph and his brother Hyrum. [[ fyi: Samuel Smith, Joseph and Hyrum's younger brother, was poisoned within 30 days of the Smith murders. Oddly enough, Samuel was in charge of the printing processes and possibly heir to have lead the church, before Brigham Young. I am studying the angle of the printing processes and equipment and it may have been a target to control. Joseph may have passed the leadership of the church to one of his brother's, but within a months time three Smith brothers were killed. (smh) ]]
Midwest Saint here. We just got home from a trip to Kirtland 3 days ago. What a glorious experience! The Spirit of God resides in the sacred places in Kirtland especially the Whitney Store, Joseph and Emma home, Johnson home and the Temple. Missionaries are sharing about the Falling Stars at Joseph and Emma’s restored Kirtland home but I was shocked that they didn’t share that Joseph prophesied of this event. Hopefully it was a little oversight and that is being shared typically. The tours are very genuine and potentially sacred experiences for the participants. I received one very strong teaching moment from God over the weekend of tours and many spiritually uplifting experiences. God lives and loves us. I am His witness. I have seen His hand in my life. I am His hands. So can each of us be.

All prophets are great but Joseph Smith was different he is more greater than them. The reason I said this is because Joseph Smith held all the keys from different dispensation. That why Joseph Smith has done more than any other man except Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world...... Praise to the man who comune with Jehovah.
The Church fills North and South America like salt and leaven fill bread. Bread is fully leavened and salted even though the percentage of yeast and salt is minimal compared to flour and water.
In a little wood loads cabin with 30 people inside Joseph Smith prophesied that this Church would filled the North America , Central and South America and all the world!! Well, I'm from South America. 👋 and keep seeing it growing.

David! There's great books about the history of the church. I read the historical fiction called "The Work and The Glory" and it gave me a wonderful idea of the history of the church. I think that there are many of us who have strayed from the path and really want to come back but it's difficult; please pray for us! Thank you and thank you to all of the saints! Thank you for your faith and Christ like love and it's my prayer that we can be stripped of all anger and resentment and bitterness, and stripped of pride and ego, stripped of any and all lust of the flesh, and become something that God is pleased with, through the Lord Jesus Christ and everything Christ taught and did for us. I really hope we can come together and be humble and teachable and not bicker or argue but to be equipped with real Christ like love, pure charity, for one another and for ourselves. The first step back is the hardest, but take it and thank God you're on your way! Humility is the answer for dealing with the bickering, etc. We just follow Heavenly Father and Jesus back to church, back to prayer, back to scripture study, back to loving Them by keeping their commandments with all our heart, back to forgiving those who sin against us and bearing their ill acts with patience and grace. Because of Jesus and His Atonement, you will make it!
I know for a surety that the Prophet Joseph Smith is the Prophet of the Restoration. He suffered tremendously that we Latter-day Saints today might have the Blessings of the Restored Gospel.
For Certain!....but still, D & C 1:38 puts their voices...in the exact same category..."whether My Voice, or the Voice of My Servants...it is the same."" President Nelson, when he is speaking as God's Prophet...speaks for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It's an amazing thing.
My ancestor was killed at the Morley Farm when some of the brethren went back to harvest the crops so they would have food to eat. Edmond Durfee was killed and the saints did not get their crops.
Regarding what prophets and Apostles do *today* , " _differences of administrations_ " " _diversities of operations_ " are some of the listed gifts of the Spirit. 1st Corinthians 12 or D&C 46. Moroni 10 " _different ways that these gifts are administered_ ".
"Filled the whole earth" has already been fulfilled. Prophet-President Gordon B. Hinckley declared such October 6, 2021... "The vision of Joel has been fulfilled wherein he declared: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh"' The reason this has been fulfilled is that the Father ushered in the Restoration... which includes the Holy Ghost and the ancient Prophets of scattered Israel and their scriptures--the Book of Mormon, etc... no longer "stay themselves"--as they had done for 1400 years from the time Moroni buried the Gold Plates. While not everyone has joined the Church--everyone on earth (all flesh) has been impacted by the Church and Kingdom of God... and the whole world has moved forward and upward in leaps and bounds--the whole earth has been filled with the blessings of the Restoration. If the Restoration had not taken place--the chances that the whole world would be utterly destroyed in darkness by now is probably 100%.
To me it has and co ti ues to fill the earth...many countries who never had members in the beginning now have wards and branches, stakes and missions and temples even places like China and Japan, Kazakhstan and the Middle east.

I had a spiritual confirmation of the reality of Joseph Smith’s first vision when I was a young boy of twelve years of age. To this day, 61 years later, I still remember the impression. My testimony has grown even stronger over the decades.
