    It's great to see 3DC keeps improving. Every little improvement makes the workflow better, making it even a more attractive tool. 🙂

    One feature has disappeared recently, the ability to shift and select multiple layers within the viewport.

    Not gonna lie its a really simple change but it does help a lot to make it feel a little more up to date already! Thanks for adding this.

    Still waiting on a feature to increase and decrease the snapping angles within the viewport beyond just 45 degrees.
    Cant tell you how useful it would be in developing consistent shape language in my designs.

      Are you referring to rotating the viewport in increments? There is a recent option, in the past 2 builds to do just that. It is located in the Navigation bar (upper right corner of the viewport), the 5th and 6th icon from the left, and you can RMB click to change the angle snapping value, numerically.

      Wow! Big if true! You mean in the 'Setup Navigaton' Menu? I cant find it atm @@PILGWAY3DCoat

      No, not there. It is in the NAVIGATION BAR. When you move your cursor near the top right portion of the viewport, you will see it auto-unhide with a host of icons for different light, navigation, and viewport options. To rotate the view in specified increments, you can use the 5th and 6th icon from the left, respectively, to rotate the view. We will have a video posted soon, showing this feature.

      I see, thank you. But this is not the feature I requested some time ago. I want the camera snapping feature to be editable outside of 45degree angles.
      having to use this new feature would break the flow for me.

      Perhaps I am misunderstanding what you mean by "Camera Snapping," but if you are referring to Camera/Viewport rotation, it is editable beyond 45 degrees. This was in the demonstration, showing where you can RMB click the icons and set the value to whatever amount you prefer? The default is 15 degrees, but you can set it to be whatever you like.

    i don't see this in preferences for version 23.40 but this isn't a stable version.

    • @PILGWAY3DCoat

      That is because this was only introduced in the 2024 beta builds. It is not in the 2023 builds.

      From either the Splash Screen or the HELP menu, you can click on UPDATES MANAGER and select the latest 2024 build (top left of the page), then download/install it.

    why place it at the bottom right of the screen? can this be changed?

    • @PILGWAY3DCoat
      @PILGWAY3DCoat  7 месяцев назад

      Because putting it in the upper right corner would make it conflict with the Activity Bar and Camera Menu, not to mention it would make the UI appear more cluttered, which is something we are working on reducing.

      @@PILGWAY3DCoat Thanks, is there any plans to make this user adjustable since we can remove the activity bar?
