Definitely agree with Miles, I don't think Shanté should apologize to Dirk for her "fumbled" response and I also don't think she should say he's hotter than her! I think it's fine she didn't respond with a big flirty comment back to him...she sent a heart eyes emoji and he also could have kept the conversation going at that point if he wanted to. I think she should respond something flirty to a story of his or just reach out and say hey let's hang out. Great advice as always, Miles

I'm Canadian (I live in Calgary Alberta) so the Canadian lie had me in stitches. I loved the Justin Trudeau smokes crack line too lmao. It was actually Rob Ford, the mayor of Toronto and how crazy is that lol. The fact that his brother, Doug Ford, is still in office as the premiere of Ontario and people are expected to take him seriously is whack too. And yeah there aren't a lot of Canadians that think very highly of Trudeau either lol. Anyways I love listening to you guys and everything Miles said about Kwesi at the beginning was bang on!!!

So funny thing about "Oh I will never see this person again so I will use a fake name" game. I gave my now fiance a fake name when I first met him. And now 6 years later I still hear about it.

To the poppy seed thing, it’s totally true. Right now I’m in a situation where I can’t start my nursing clinicals because I tested positive for opiates two weeks in a row. I’ve never done opiates in my life, but I used to eat everything bagels RELIGIOUSLY. Be warned!

On Celebrating your small wins - you didn't miss the opportunity! You're the one who gets to choose which goal posts you celebrate. Maybe you didn't celebrate a whole year of the podcast... but you could celebrate helping 200 callers (or 250... 300... 311, I don't know what number is gonna be special to you). The wins that are traditionally recognized as being meaningful don't have to be the wins that are meaningful to you - you're allowed to celebrate anything that feels like an accomplishment. Honestly, celebrating the number of callers you've helped so far puts that year of 54 episodes into a much better focus anyway... because what does 54 episodes mean? Well, if you talk to an average of 3 people per episode, that's already 162 people that you've impacted. That's pretty incredible! If you wanna celebrate years of being podcasting, that's awesome too, but please don't feel like you missed the opportunity to celebrate the first year. Celebrate the first however many callers instead. Next year celebrate year 2... or 325 callers, you know... whatever metric works. No matter what metric you look at, you did that shit and it's awesome.

I'm going to Thailand next year for my honeymoon! The floating markets look amazing and there's plenty to do. Hot springs, massage, mountain climbing, elephant sanctuary. Have fun, Kwesi~!!
My partner and I hope to go to Japan, and spend a few nights in Thailand for our honeymoon. The Thai food alone seems worth it, but there's also such a beautiful, rich, history there to explore. To get an actually affordable massage sounds amazing! I think the thing to do after that would be to go find a hot spring. :) Safe travels!
Also I believe it depends on the food, but as a rule of thumb, things in the freezer last properly around 6 months. Then you get freezer burn, which sounds worse than it is, but I think effectively the food turns bland
