I remember the time when there was a bug with lockers and flashlights. Some guy was exploiting this bug but got grabbed out of locker by wesker power. What a great feeling it was.

Oh there is a ton in a bunch of indoor maps. Rpd, the game, lerys of you know the peramitors you'll find it's saddingly common. I've reported it for a few months now but nothing.
It technically is bannable, but just like old Blight bugtech, BHVR gives mixed messages as to its legality. They say "we only ban for killswitched stuff" then don't use the killswitch. They say abusing known bugs is bannable, but then they let Blight reign free for YEARS. BHVR being BHVR, incompetent as ever.
hugtech wasnt bannable since there's counterplay to it and it can express your skill level i.e running out of the way or predicting it, which wasnt that difficult to do. For it to be bannable two things are needed, the fact that the survivor 100% knows what they're doing, and that there's zero counterplay

There is counterplay to have a Killer power capable of damaging someone in the bugged spot, that doesn't negate the person being a loser for exploiting, just the same for Blight exploits, or any other exploits. Imagine how pathetic someone needs to be to exploit on one of the easiest Killers in the game. That, in my eyes, is an even lower form of scum (or higher? how do you express greater disappointment?).
@@mizark3 hugtechs are EASILY able to be countered, so it isn't unfair unless you're a new player- but you aren't going to be facing pro hug tech blights if you're new unless you aren't learning how to play the game in time. When it comes to killers, only the ranged killers can counter the new bug on the map, but m1 killers cant, therefore it's bannable to do it. When it comes to hugtechs, every survivor can counter it if they have any game sense

Edit: My main message is disappointment with BHVR for not timely fixing problems, especially when they have the tools (killswitch) to do so.

EVERY survivor, no matter who you play, can fairly counter it. Neither is it brainless to pull off hug teching. When it comes to the map bug, not every killer can fairly counter it, and when they can't, it's completely game breaking. Not only that, but the people abusing the map exploit KNOWS this and have extreme malintent, while the intent of hugtechs is for skill expression and harmless fun
Recently thinking about coming back to DbD and prepare myself for the Castlevania chapter after Lara Croft debuts. Seeing this video has made me rethink my plan...atleast until they (hopefully) fix this exploit.
Every now and then I think about installing DBD and having a more positive mindset, but then I get reminded that the game is in a shit state, bugs that need fixes, a lot of cheaters, toxic people, etc.. Maybe I just don't have the mental fortitude to deal with all of this
There is a spot on Ormond where the killer cannot pick up. If you crawl under the big fan the killer can't pick you up. I didn't know and a killer couldn't pick me up.
The funny thing is against most killer powers it doesn't work I tested it with wesker and he still grabs you with his power this exploit only works against m1 killers like singularity trapper wraith etc

I had a survivor duo. Sent me to hawkings and used the build where they couldn’t be hooked. They also set up that boon exponential, so they could pick themselves back up. Had to slug them 3 times, since they kept resetting the boon. They called me toxic and hoped something bad happens to my family. How entitled are these survivors honestly?😂
It just means they are playing on a different platform than Choy, if you are on steam and you encounter someone from PS/XBOX/EPIC they will have the globe, same as the other platforms
I'm so glad I'm not one of these people as a Surv main. Myself and a friend playing at the time of the Flashlight/Locker glitch we had 3 matches with people exploiting, thinking haha so funny. We got them downed/caught. Every. Single. Time. We didn't care if we died in the end, as long as the exploiter was caught. I cannot stand exploiters, or playing against or with them. You wanna do that? Do it in a private match. Or I will make it my mission to get you out of the game or DC for doing this cringe shit.

And I think the same thing will happen here it will take Dead by daylight way too long to kill switch this map. (Edit) I forgot to say who can remember the exit Gate bug, If you don't know what I mean there was a perk what buggered the exit Gate so the game will crash
Ingame report isn't enough, just send the footage and all the match details you have to BHVR along with your account info. They can look at your match history and find those guys. I know because I've gotten plenty of anonymous mode people banned. You must do an in game report then submit the footage via a ticket.
Another day, another gamebreaking exploit that is being abused to hell and back for no reason other than to spite the other side and be a dick. Then we also get typical us vs them comments like "but what about....", come on, shut up. Game breaking exploit is a game-breaking exploit, and anyone who abuses it should lose their account. No one cares about which side has engaged in it, holding a match hostage just to wank your small internet ego is not cool.
I actually managed to find this on accident few weeks ago. I was getting chased by a slinger looping around that broken boat spot. I spun and dodged a hit but cornered myself so I was bodyblocked and stuck, but the killer couldn’t basic attack me. It kept counting a miss so eventually I got redeemer shot out of the spot, it was a funny moment for sure 😅
I find it scary as in what if a random new player accidentally gets stuck in a spot that they dont know about but everyone else is using for exploits, and the killer is a big streamer that sees this and makes a big deal of it and gets that persons account banned even though they had no idea
So next time i play as Bubba, just stand still and dont give the survivors any reaction and hope they'll get bored and DC. Just to make it better, ill stay away frkm walls and look down to avoid flashlights so survivors get no points off me Edit: seeing the bug now allows me to just hold them in the corner. If they are willing to sit in that corner, ill perfectly just sit in the corner with them and they can't cry about it considering they wanna stand still anyway
