Yes yes yes. BUT nobody is saying how iPhones from 13 and beyond basically brick features of the phone if you replace any parts or get a repair done outside of Apple. Heaps of videos on RUclips showing this. Any model from 12 and under doesn’t have this issue. For example if you replace the battery, it will stop Face ID from working. There is a RUclipsr who got 2 iPhone 14s and literally swapped the screens over and it still bricked the phone. They deliberately don’t let you have it repaired outside of their repair service now, which means you don’t “own” your phone which you paid nearly 2k for in the iPhone 14.
I’ve seen that video. Every individual component has a serial number and they all work only with others that have that same serial number. Apple doesn’t care about its customers. On the topic of battery reduction. I don’t update phones and apps unless absolutely necessary for this reason and that they tend to remove good features like background play and what not. My phone has been doing perfect for years with no noticeable drop in performance and then as soon as I installed the last available update (had to or I couldn’t access my important apps) my battery would drain four times faster than it ever had. I can literally unplug my phone with two apps open(in background), sit on Home Screen and watch my battery count down its power like they’re seconds on the clock now

Samsung phones and iPhones both have similar battery life and typically the newest iPhone has better battery than the newest Samsung. You probably have alot of background applications and a large amount of screen on time.

I just bring my Samsung to their service center and in 20 minutes they replace the battery while it still under the 2 year warranty. Can change other things too if they faulty, in my last phone they changed the USB port because it was destroyed and the screen for burn-in (which I didn't notice).

Amoled screens made by Samsung are so good at only 20-30% brightness and the stable and power efficient chips of snapdragon like 855,865 and 765 with good thermal efficiency and Android OS which is close to stock can easily make a 4000-4500mAh battery last all day or even two days.

It is explicitly optional, you can always buy Samsung or Google Pixel or one of a few other good phones (Motorola makes a good phone)
