      If there is waste water backed up from a blockage at the street that volume cannot be contained with a wet vacuum. It's sewage, if you make it then block it, you get to smell it too.

    • @rupe53
      @rupe53 3 года назад +1

      Sara ... some people pour dish soap down the drain with the hope to clear up the clog. Since most of that product is colored it adds something to the standing water.

      It's a pressure washer in steroids which puts out around 40,000 PSI I believe.

    • @AlaskaRuzz
      @AlaskaRuzz 5 лет назад +15

      It’s a pressure washer with special hose and jet nozzle. Nozzle has water jets that squirt most of the water “backwards”. Thus pulling the hose towards the clog. A smaller amount of forward facing water jets, breaks up the clog. Normally around 3000-4000 psi.
      Give me a thumbs up if that makes sense. Peace.

    • @KevinBenecke
      @KevinBenecke 5 лет назад +1

      It's because people get suckered by the "flushable" part thinking it can go down the drain. The other part of the problem is these stupid water saver fixtures. The older fixtures were better at keeping things moving. Every couple of months I'll pour a 5 gallon bucket of water down my toilet to help keep my drain line clear.

    Why? Oh why? Did this person use a water jet first? Would have used an auger to clear blockage...then jet to clean...less doo-doo on the patio and yard. I do this every day...auger works perfect....unless full septic system.
