A bright light that will never fade away, the biggest humanitarian out of rock n roll. It makes me sad seeing that a lot of so called "musicians" today distorting his message. Joe loved being out there meeting people, not hiding in a mansion telling people to stay home while losing everything, what to do, or how to think. That was not Joe. He was not perfect and admitted that many times, that what made him unique!!Miss you brother, this world is a mess without u around!!

Agree totally, back in the day he DID affect a mockney accent and pretend to be inarticulate, and I found that infuriating.. oftentimes what should've a clear, unambiguous statement of intent on behalf of the Clash was lost because Joe was too busy posing and muttering inanities.

      Died

@@Christopher-ii6tr Yes, Joe was born in Turkey but he actually has Armenian heritage not Indian. His dad was born in Lucknow in India but he was part Armenian and English. His mum was Scottish so not the same as Freddie. Freddie’s ethnicity is Parsi-Indian and he was born in Zanzibar.
