This song is so incredibly epic, I get chills every time I listen to Martirio, and I don’t even know Spanish! With every new song these sisters release I more convinced that these young ladies WILL, without a doubt in my mind one day be recognized as not just one of, but THE GREATEST Power Trio of all time, eclipsing even the greatest power trios to date in Rush, Cream, The Police, Muse, Jimi Hendrix, Grand Funk Railroad. I know this is a bold statement, but I am absolutely 100% convinced of this! Simply put these young ladies souls are timeless and have eons of wisdom to draw upon and will absolutely dominate the music world for as long as they chose to do so. Mark my words, they WILL sell out any venue they chose to play, including major arenas and stadiums and they WILL be invited to headline the largest major music festivals the world has to offer, playing in front of millions! This song wasn't particularly to my liking (by TW standards -- praise by faint damnation), and came in #5 out of the 6 Mayday songs. It was a completely different story live (in Boston), where it blew me away. The buildup toward the end, where Dany's voice soars higher and higher, and her guitar solo continues ever higher, was absolutely thrilling.
