    The truth is that the next stage is for humans to realize we are an integral part of the ecosystem ourselves and without conservation we too will eventually be at risk of extinction! Sir David Attenborough has done more to bring the natural world to us than any other person on the planet; along with the understanding of conservation and its vital importance to the survival of all species including ourselves! We are so lucky to have grown up with his passion and inspiration from so many wonderful programs and series about life on this planet.

      @@paulajewitt2012 Paula it would be ''Their'' scripted lies!. But you don't seem to mind Attenborough's deceit about Walrus & a sick Polar bear he attributed to climate change, funny that. He was called out by Dr Susan Crockford & Dr Patrick Moore, who actually called him a liar!, now they are two real scientists not a wildlife narrator!. And Attenborough, i suppose, being flushed with success of being voted in a readers digest poll as the most trusted ''Celebrity'' he thought he would push his luck! ... Pathetic, but what is more pathetic are the sycophants!!

      we should be verry much part of the ecosystem but mr packham will not allow us fully participate in the natural way of things it is also only to be expected that as with every species we are going to have some small influence on the eco system packham is an animal rights extremist attenborough is a naturalist to mention the two of them in the one sentence is an insult to attenborough

    What we see is fear, loss of reason political unrest as our subconscious fully senses the extinction of our biosphere with imminent extinction of our species. Realization will be fully conscious very soon as night time temps top the charts, full horror unfolding before unbelieving eyes the modern unraveling.

    • @kevinparker461
      @kevinparker461 4 года назад +1

      Packham saying we should stop looking for a cure for cancer & re invest the charity money collected for that cause into animal conservation, that's what to dislike about him. I still respect his knowledge but as a human for that comment he deserves a smack, & he would get one from me.

    • @cameronturk4388
      @cameronturk4388 4 года назад

      kevin parker Well what makes you think we will ever find a cure for Cancer? There will never be a Cure! Just the treatment we already have like chemotherapy and if someone is lucky enough to know they have Cancer early enough to possibly save their life! Are you forgetting that Cancer is just something that is in every living animal on Earth including us humans!?! Some animals and humans just get Cancer if it is Triggered! And before you might start shouting abuse at me I have lost a loved family member to Cancer! I’m also just somebody who knows the reality of the world and who has a Passion for Nature and all Wild Animals! And humans are destroying the Biodiversity of Earth which is really depressing!

    are we too bright too adaptable too resourceful though? The reason we are aware of the problems we are causing to the natural world and the planets climate is born from our technological and scientific advancements. These advancements are only made possible by burning fossil fuels. Our reliance on fossil fuels has given rise to consumerism and a population increase that is simply unsustainable. Its Ironic that the practices that we now view as destructive have given birth to the awareness of the problem. If there is not a global consensus to drastically change the way we live our lives by 2050 I fear it will be a lost cause. The planet is not doomed the planet shall go on it has for billions of years. Its humanity that will be destroyed. We are fighting to protect a way of life that is not the way of life we should be living or teaching to our children. Something extremely drastic is going to have to happen. and we will all have to make sacrifices in our standard of living. Its not up for debate its fact. this species that has become so dominant has to peg itself back. there is no more room for infinite growth. thats it. we are big enough. greed and consumerism has to stop.
