Tragically, the "decline" is not slow, it's catastrophically rapid. Planet earth has been evolving for approx. 4.5 billion years. However, human activity has destroyed wildlife populations by more than two-thirds _in less than 50 years_ - that's terrifyingly fast.

David Attenborough is a great human being, his love of the natural world and its many species. Look at the reception he gets from all of the young people at Britain's big music concert when he appears, he is beloved. He's right in saying that human beings have taken over the world, what a contrast with how much nature was present when he started doing these films when he was 28.

What an absolute stud at 94! He is totally right we do need the natural world for our very sanity. During the pandemic when I was cooped up all day I started to weirdly feel wanting to go outside, hike, and take long walks. Being in nature helped my sanity and being depressed/down.
Since I was a boy when I heard his voice come on the television it brought a calm and hope. Plus I knew I was going to get to watch something cool for a least an hour.

There are very few people whose teeth could reach this shade of yellow without me exercising juvenile degrees of judgment. But with Sir David we transcend this sort tiered approach all together. In fact I find myself wanting to take up the habit of daily coffee consumption (a beverage to which a I’ve long had aversion to), simply to emulate one of my idols in life. But on a serious note. This man is an incredible advocate for the natural world. He is one of the best well known examples of humankind I could possibly conjure. Everyone should find something in life to have this level of exuberance over. You owe it to yourself to find the joy Mr. Attenborough speaks of in this segment.

Since I was a child, I was watching "Life on Earth". I believe every word he says. I believe that getting through this to change, we must change the way we live. Change the way we treat our environment. Change to save Nature on an international level because we ourselves are part of Nature. We don't own it... we belong to IT. If nature goes down... we too will go down.
I grew up watching this man, one of the best gifts I ever received was the first planet earth series. He inspired me to love animals, plants, and our earth. I consider this man of true hero, and an inspiration.
My heart aches at the thought of this man becoming extinct. The worlds greatest educator and advocate of all things living. I emulate this hero in as much as I can. Respecting all life and being humbled by my place in it.
I love and respect Sir Attenborough so much. Growing up in the '70s and '80s, I remember watching him on ch 28. My mom had us(my sis and me)study the episodes and discuss them later. His voice is so rich and soothing, you want to listen to anything he says. I'm glad he is still producing such great films at such an important time in Earth's time.

What an absolute stud at 94! He is totally right we do need the natural world for our very sanity. During the pandemic when I was cooped up all day I started to weirdly feel wanting to go outside, hike, and take long walks. Being in nature helped my sanity and being depressed/down.

Buy a King James Bible David while you have still got time. Then you may give glory to the Creator and not your own baseless ideas of the origins.
There are very few people whose teeth could reach this shade of yellow without me exercising juvenile degrees of judgment. But with Sir David we transcend this sort tiered approach all together. In fact I find myself wanting to take up the habit of daily coffee consumption (a beverage to which a I’ve long had aversion to), simply to emulate one of my idols in life.
But on a serious note. This man is an incredible advocate for the natural world. He is one of the best well known examples of humankind I could possibly conjure. Everyone should find something in life to have this level of exuberance over. You owe it to yourself to find the joy Mr. Attenborough speaks of in this segment.

Since I was a child, I was watching "Life on Earth". I believe every word he says. I believe that getting through this to change, we must change the way we live. Change the way we treat our environment. Change to save Nature on an international level because we ourselves are part of Nature. We don't own it... we belong to IT. If nature goes down... we too will go down.
I grew up watching this man, one of the best gifts I ever received was the first planet earth series. He inspired me to love animals, plants, and our earth. I consider this man of true hero, and an inspiration.

I had to watch this video for a 6th grade school project about mass extinction and I am so happy I watched it.

I love and respect Sir Attenborough so much. Growing up in the '70s and '80s, I remember watching him on ch 28. My mom had us(my sis and me)study the episodes and discuss them later.
His voice is so rich and soothing, you want to listen to anything he says. I'm glad he is still producing such great films at such an important time in Earth's time.

WORDS are not enough to describe Sir David Attenborough's remarkable impact in people's connection to the natural world. And, he is right, millennials and younger generation are our only hope in rekindling our soul in nature.
The only thing I disagree with him on, is that I do believe in the existence of Extraterrestrial Life, but that said, this planet is our home and I would never give it up for anything.
