Maybe you'll learn the lesson when 1 of your feet are gone. Friend of mine lost a foot after a shark went for the fish but bit down on his overhanging foot. Good luck mate
Had a bullshark down here in Florida go after a kingfish I had on next to the boat and grabbed the prop on my trolling motor 2 times and destroyed it. It happened so fast and furiously no time to react
I rescue a kayaker here in syd that got knocked over by a great white it turned around and brushed its body against his and kept on going he was very lucky was in 2009 at manly sydney... Your lucky we had a few fatalities lately over Xmas You should put wings on the yakk more stability
@jasethejewman that sounds hectic 😳 - we don't have many whites the area i fish they are mostly further down south. We only get the odd white. These kind of things are happening more regularly here as well!
@marcleroux3426 had plenty people look at it, the consensus seems to be that the two sharks are Zambezi and a White that breached. The Zambezi was the one that hit my kayak.
mate I don't think there was 2 sharks involved, I reckon that second "fin" is the tail, it's not the same shape as a dorsal fin. Regardless still a pucker moment for the blurter
@Antipodean33 definitely 2 sharks watch the fast motion again you can see the top of the body of the second going in a totally different direction to the jumping shark. On my higher quality raw footage it is much clearer
The zambesis are becoming very brave. Be very careful when landing fish they will come for it jist like it happened to you here. Get that fish in as quick as posible. I was at witsand this december and a zambezi ripped a guys hand completely open. Almost took it off. They used to be skittish when landing, but i find them bwcoming more and more like this.

@kennyhollidayjr5206 it is honestly so fast, and when they are in feeding mode even worse.

Rather you than me, boet😂... I don't know how you remained so cool?
@johntweedie939 No 1 rule for me on the Kayak. Never panic no matter what. I do however think I had some racing stripes in my Undies 🤣
I would have been paddling a brown yak after that, congrats on keeping your composure and your feet
@@Lowbrow_Mthakathi 😂😂😂 happened so fast I think I was in shock.

Yep, that is a white shark...
Were they different species of shark? The last one looked somewhat like a White?

Defintely zambesi. The whites believe it or not are more relaxed whereas zambesis are the crazy ones.
To me that looks like a great white , you see the white under belly
