- I went fishing with two of the strongest men in the world, Devon Larratt Devon Larratt (World Arm Wrestling Champion and ex-special forces), and Layne Norton (World Champion powerlifter and fitness expert). Devon and Layne battle two of the strongest fish in the ocean, including a record-sized shark!

I clicked on the video because I saw Devon in the thumbnail. Any video with Devon is worth watching. He reminds me of the guys in the country I grew up around and who I respect. I miss people like that since I live in the city.

So this is dramatic and cool and all but to be clear, an international 80 generally has about 40-50 max lb of drag. You could modify it, or not use the reel properly to change that, but anyone applying more than 50lb of pressure to the rod is simply fighting themselves not the fish. Just a tip from a career charter fisherman. Lift up slow, reel down fast. Watch your reel, not the water. If you don't gain when you lift, that means the drag is working and there is no reason to apply any more pressure. But again, dramatic and cool scene for getting youtube clicks
