Hello from Minnesota. I am a mom of a 25 year old son and a 21 year old daughter who has special needs. She requires 24/7 care we have LPN and RN care but on nights that we don't have staff on the overnights I have a crafting area across from her bedroom that I spend time in. With a TV to keep me company while I am crafting. I love your space that you have to be creative. Also your storage solutions gave me great ideas, I didn't realize Micheals had so much to offer I know I will be taking a trip there. Thank you for sharing.

I kept waiting and waiting to see how you store your Copic markers, mine are the new kids in the room in my crafts space, I had wanted them for so long but never really was sure where to start so I just kept putting off taking the plunge till finally I just jumped but now I have the start of my Copic collection but have yet to come up with a good storage system for me. I had just been thinking about one of those rolling carts but was then "stuck" on what to do with them once I got the cart . . . enter Mindy Eggen and her awesome solution, THANK YOU !!! You've inspired me not only with your creativity & talent in the crafting world but also in/with storage solutions. Blessings to you, while your creativity corner might not be a massive huge room it's filled with lots of product, much creativity, lots of heart and is very functional and well sorted.
I'm so glad you found some of the storage solutions helpful! I struggled over the storage of my copics as well. They ended up always taking up so much space. This new way has been the best one by far in my little crafty corner.

Thank you so much! Inexpensive isn't always good depending on the weight of the items but I make do lol ... for example a book shelf from walmart would not hold all of that cardstock haha!

I loved seeing your craft room. I share mine with my husband, so I know what a small space is like. But he built me some shelves for my markers and ink pads which I have on my desk space and go up the wall. I use a dresser for my stamps and envelopes. I have a Walmart shelving unit that I use for most of my dies and cardstock. I could go on but that's alot of it and a rolling cart next to my chair for everytime you craft items. Again thanks for sharing and giving us all some more ideas.

I, too, have been reorganizing to make it work better. I am fortunate that there is pegboard on the walls. So I have become creative with that. This is a nice set up. I have a sliver of a section in my studio apartment for my craft room but it works. I like how you you utilize every inch of the space that you have, it’s very organized.

It's so great seeing someone else who uses the breakfast room of their home for a craft room! I've considered moving upstairs to the rarely-used guest room, but downstairs is where life happens, and I'm pretty sure moving upstairs would mean I don't create as often. It's actually a great location. I'm downstairs with my family, I can easily make things while waiting on things in the oven or on the stove, it has a tile floor for easy clean-up, and it's mere steps from my kitchen sink. Thankfully, it's tucked away in the back of the house, so it's not an area that's on display when people come over. You know, back when we could have people over.
I love your space. I really need to rethink how I have my craft room organized. You are my inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing your craft space set up.
I liked a couple of your storage ideas. I need to organize!!!!! PS, If I had mine in my kitchen I wouldn't have the willpower to stay away from the snacks.
I am impressed by your space. I am in the process of bringing up some of stamping supplies upstairs from a full basement, my husband has ALZ and I really don’t feel like I can no long spend hours in the basement. The LR, DR is all open, the DR table is huge, so I could use half of it for crafting. There are two small dressers in there, one I use as a buffet, but could empty of out, so I could have a little draw space I might even be able to bring my Ales drawers up, at this point it’s in the planning stage. I loved seeing your craft room. I share mine with my husband, so I know what a small space is like. But he built me some shelves for my markers and ink pads which I have on my desk space and go up the wall. I use a dresser for my stamps and envelopes. I have a Walmart shelving unit that I use for most of my dies and cardstock. I could go on but that's alot of it and a rolling cart next to my chair for everytime you craft items. Again thanks for sharing and giving us all some more ideas.

I, too, have been reorganizing to make it work better. I am fortunate that there is pegboard on the walls. So I have become creative with that. Of course, I don't have as much to store as you do, but it is enough for now. This has become my retirement hobby! lol. Anyway, thanks for sharing your techniques, etc. Love watching your videos!
oh those pegboards are great! I've rearranged that numerous times too. I had hooks on them and hung my foam tape on them on occasion.

I loved your craft room tour! I also have my craft room set up in my small dining room so I can totally relate on optimizing what little space I do have! Wow! You’ve packed a LOT into a small space, in an organized fashion! Awesome! I have the 5 x 5 Kallax unit. I think it’s the largest. I got it second hand, like new, for a great price! I agree about the Alex drawers. You have to be creative to use the back of them! Thanks for sharing! 😊❤️

This is a nice set up. I have a sliver of a section in my studio apartment for my craft room but it works. I like how you you utilize every inch of the space that you have, it’s very organized.

It's so great seeing someone else who uses the breakfast room of their home for a craft room! I've considered moving upstairs to the rarely-used guest room, but downstairs is where life happens, and I'm pretty sure moving upstairs would mean I don't create as often. It's actually a great location. I'm downstairs with my family, I can easily make things while waiting on things in the oven or on the stove, it has a tile floor for easy clean-up, and it's mere steps from my kitchen sink. Thankfully, it's tucked away in the back of the house, so it's not an area that's on display when people come over. You know, back when we could have people over.

I am impressed by your space. I am in the process of bringing up some of stamping supplies upstairs from a full basement, my husband has ALZ and I really don’t feel like I can no long spend hours in the basement. The LR, DR is all open, the DR table is huge, so I could use half of it for crafting. There are two small dressers in there, one I use as a buffet, but could empty of out, so I could have a little draw space I might even be able to bring my Ales drawers up, at this point it’s in the planning stage.
