Justin had an enduring challenge of enormous stage fright and he seems bravely pushing through it here , but he is nervous about being on Letterman’s show and being responsible for keeping the Moodys momentum going .
1988...21 or 22 years after becoming members of The Moody Blues...little did they know they hadn't even marked the half-way point of their career! I'm so glad they've had longevity of life, and I hope for 20 more years!
Looks like they're all having a great time....and I've heard this song so many times, but still the lyrics are so moving, unapologetically romantic and spiritual. *Justin*
The keyboard sounds and the mix here suck. The Moodies sound much better in concert with their own keyboards and their own mix of bass, guitar, flute & vocal harmony.
Paul Shaffer really screws up the keyboard melody during the first verse, that's what annoyed me. Plus why have Will Lee there when John's playing bass? Will should have sat this one out.
Smashing performance. Absolutely love this song❤!

Justin's smile...melting! ❤️
I wonder who the lucky person was that he kept looking up at and smiling. Wish he would beam one my way.
Everything about Justin melts me.
Always has.
Still does.
❤ this is such a cute video. 😊😊❤
I've never seen Justin smile this much when singing.
I love his smile. Hes more serious about his performance it seems and more so than the other guy.
Yes that organ is very weak. I thought Moranz was still there in '88. And no Graeme Edge on drums, weird.
@@user-qv4ni9hd8m❤ yes he is ❤

Justin acted like he was ready to crack up with laughter a few times! (Maybe after looking at Paul-ha!)
Wonderful video. Always #one favorite song.😊❤🌼🌞💃
very cool, honest performance with no prerecorded bits. Love honorary Moody Paul Shaffer!
Best video.Dont know how the two boys kept a straight face.Something amused them
Love this video
Lovely. Thanks for saving!
Justin actually smiled.
Awesome
Funny Keyboarder...
Are there two basses, and if so why?
this was shown 2 days after my nan died in the same year & month
Wonder where Ray, Patrick and Graeme were that day.
Awesome .. first time I seen 2 bass players
I love John playing air guitar right at the beginning.
Why just the Blue Jays ? Why not the whole band ?
Maybe Letterman couldn't afford the whole band in '88. More likely the other guys weren't in New York when it came time for the show.
Where is Ray?
will lee and paul shaffer
John Lodge hardly played the bass. #RedRocksLive
