    No joke, it took you less then 10 minutes to send me to Amazon! I’m an amateur sewist (meaning that once in ~half a year I manage to finish some hand-sewn project of mine.). I’ve been exercising the idea of trying out embroidery with some of my planed creations, but since I’ve never did embroidery before (or better say I did, and no, it won’t go on my clothes like that) I never thought about it seriously.
    But here we go. Wow, I want to try Tambour out, and wow, it seems that I know what I want with the dress I’ll start next.

    I'm not a big fan of bead embroideries, as I find them overly chaotic and tiring to look at, but this is beautiful and very soothing to watch. The sunlight, the gentle sounds in the background, the neat work. A well spent 15 minutes. (15 minutes for me, no doubt a day for you at least.)

      Exactly, tambour is a very old craft you can see it in many historic garments and textiles. I love looking at historic embroideries they are a great inspiration for me

      Thank you so much! i studied Fashion & Textiles Embroidery at University. They gave us a lesson on tambour for a day and then i continued to practice on my own. I went on to work in the couture fashion as an embroidered where i got to better my tambour skill as i worked. But honestly anyone can learn tambour from the comfort of their home, thats why i made the tambour for beginners series on my channel.

    This is gorgeous! Why do you turn the frame to work from the back or the front?

      With tambour you can embroider from back and the front. Sometimes it’s easier to bead from the back and sometimes its better to do it from the front. For very small beads in a continuous lines it’s easier form the back. I have a tutorials for beginners on my channel if you want more info 😊

      I think it was around 10-15cm in size, the time it will take you will depend on you skills. It took me around 5 hours i think

    always wamted to try this but i thought a person could only do this if they had use of both arms. i only have use of my right arm because of a stroke you have showen me that maybe I could give this a try!! ty

      It breaks my heart to correct you, but you do need both hands to do tambour embroidery. If you watch my Lesson 1 for beginners on my channel you can see exactly how this technique works

      Yes its the same as aari work. But this is called a Tambour Hook, its just a little different but works exactly like an aari hook. Im from London, UK

    If it's was me i wouldn't had removed the paper, just keep stitching on it and after that just washed or picked away :)

      I personally would not recommend that. I would trace the design on with a fabric pen or use a water soluble film, which is a lightweight plastic that you can draw on and wash or pick away easily.

      There are some supplies in the links in the description. But you can use any beads you have around and make it your own

      I don’t remember why i cut the sound from that part, im still trying to figure out how to record and edit well. I want to do more asmr stitching videos so if anyone has advise on how to film asmr without the background noise please leave a comment, thanks 😊

    It is very beautiful but I'm OCD and there is no pattern to where she puts the bead no 3 2 1 3 2 1 she just put them on
