  • Back today with a new beaded moth brooch, this time with it's wings closed for a rest on a shoulder perhaps. Great for pairing with a suit or dress, or on a crimson peak inspired art nouveau costume perhaps? ✨

First, a disclaimer: So many of you have kindly offered to send me things, including vintage items you may have inherited, and I am so honored you would think of me and of course I do adore vintage treasures, however, unfortunately I only have so much storage space currently! So there is a chance that if something just wont work for me, or doesn't fit me etc, that I may not be able to keep all of your lovely things. Please only send things if you are okay with the possibility that I may donate items I just cannot keep. If you would prefer I put things that I can't keep into the TCH Etsy shop to help raise funds for me and the channel, please specify this in a note or letter in your parcel. Thank you so much!

I've always loved the look and technique in bead art, the long sparkly flowing dresses. I might give this a try at first. You make it look so easy and doable and seems very therapeutic and with flow of creativity! ❤ Etsy, while I've found some suppliers with vintage sequins and beads most all are from another country and beautiful indeed. How lovely, my favourite too. In our local woods, behind my house, we have a moth specialist who comes and sets up a couple of times a year. We usually catch between 60 and 80 different species each time.. They are amazing. Each one goes in a clear plastic container, is examined, documented, then released. Great fun x
