you definitely have earned a break. after your Jan budget with me video you decide you want to take the rest of the month off and get yourself and your family well, by all means do it. your true supporters appreciate what you do and we will be right here waiting on you when you are feeling well enough to record again. your budgeting videos have been life changing for me personally and mean more than i can express with words!!!!!!!!!!! thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love when you record in different parts of your house. Your house is so cute!!! My heart is just so proud of the work your family is doing!! Hope you feel better!
Merry Christmas!! Great transfers this week! I hope you feel better soon! Well done everyone! I live in the Netherlands, but no worries! We transferred €450 to the Window Replacement Fund, €1060 to our vacation sinking funds, and put additional €25 to our EF to reach the goal we had set for 2024.
Merry Christmas to you and family. You guys have done such a good job being so consistent with your transfers. Honestly, it’s such an inspiration. I hope to make more transfers in 2025. Get well soon
May you and yours have a good Christmas; and that you get healthier. - Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Good Kwanzaa, and all the others ive forgotten.
Great transfers everyone! Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates. Katie I hope you and your family start to feel better. Sucks being sick during the holidays. Hubby got a travel reimbursement and with what they paid him extra for mileage $240 (he drove a lot with our car), we were able to make an additional last minute contribution to our vehicle maintenance fund. Which is always needed. Hubby will be getting new tires on his truck in the spring. That will be about $800 - $1200 but we will be ready for that and any other general maintenance that occurs. I bumped up our monthly contribution to $200 or $100 a pay. That should help as well.
Feel better Katie! And also enjoy your break! I've always wanted a husky but have definitely heard they are very high maintenance dogs. I'm not allowed to have any anyways at the moment 😂
Certainly the early '25 goal is to be a little tighter with left over money being set aside and in general. Today, we take some budgeted money out of one of the accounts and also the left over for sugar bowling. AND we will have more left over money out of that account than weve had either of the last 2 or 3 months .
Hey Katie!! Merry Christmas!! 🤍🤗✨️🎄 I transferred $155 to my emergency fund to reach $1500! 🎉🎉🎉 Also my family member I'm helping save was able to cover a medical bill from their savings! I'm so proud of them ❤🥹
Awesome job on your consistency! And thank you for the share - it DOES feel like a Christmas gift to myself 😍🏡 It’s such a big purchase that it’s a little nerve wracking though. I hope you and family feel better soon and kick the crud! Merry Christmas! 🎄
Almost $2400 just from the second pay period on a month you expected to have a lower Highlander amount. I remember the Highlander minimum payment to be something like a bit over $700. Disregarding interest and accurate numbers, you shaved a good 3 months off the back end of that loan just this week.
Christmas has definitely snuck up. Someone told me the other day that there were 5 fewer days between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. If accurate, that does explain it.
I did my second transfer this month towards my student loans. I am so so so so close to getting these paid off. I've been paying them since 2012!!! I expect to pay this last one off by April if I keep this momentum going. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Hey, feel better. Heres my last question of 2024. Why do YTbrs always seem concerned bout their posting schedule. Is it you are worried about the YTR algorithim, or your audience worrying about you? Given you make these, mainly for self motivation, and perhaps to educate anahd have fun, shouldn't you just put them out on your scheduke. I promise I would still write a comment when I saw one, even if it wasnt on a regular schedule.😁
Not Katie obviously but I worry when I’m consistent then miss a normal posting. I guess I assume people will notice but you are probably right that it won’t matter and we should do our own schedule.
I can help optimise your video production process, including editing, thumbnail design, and SEO. You send the raw footage; I'll handle the rest. Can we chat tomorrow for 10 minutes to discuss?
Transferred $1,500 to HYSA, we are now debt free, have a fully funded emergency fund and are saving up for a land down payment which is our 2025 goal
Great update! I have 2,100 $ left on my Honda which I’m aiming to pay it off in the next few months.
Merry Christmas Katie and Family!!!

Merry Christmas Y'all!
Happy Holidays to everyone. Just got my credit card statement. Ouch. Spent a bit too much.
Thanksgiving was really late this year so there really was less time to do any Christmas shopping.

And I laughed at the doggie/ transistions story. (No I did not notice) And I hope it was/is/willbe a great Christmas time for you too.)
