I totally understand if reactors want to get some money from the effort they put to these videos, but I also understand that band and labels want their share too. But I also think that labels are bit "short sighted" with this, because reaction videos are great way to introduce new artists to potential new fans. And an average fan is way more important to them financially than average viewer. Royalties from views are just crumbs, compared to fans who buy everything they possible can afford, plus go to their gigs. But because labels have decided that reactors don't deserve anything, donations and p a t r e o n type of services are the only way to get something for the content creator.

Yes, your are right. She also can sing without any accompanying instrument and her voice sounds fantastic. Listen to "How's the heart" by Nightwish acoustic version. There are only Floor singing and Troy with an acoustic guitar and a little background singing. And she can sing all from opera (listen to her singing "o mio babbino caro" by Puccini) to death metal growls (listen to "Disdain" with her former band ReVamp) and all between.

Floor, vocals, is a Valkyrie Queen. Emppu, guitars is a guitar master! Marko, bass, is a superior guitarist, bassist and vocalist in his own right! Jukka, drums, is a stylistic drummer and probably one of the best in the genre. That leaves Tuomas, keys, he is the mastermind behind most of Nightwish’s music. Floor has been trained as a classical singer. There's a video around of a Dutch TV-show where she sings "Oh Mio Babino Caro" by Puccini, and she sang "Stabat Mater Dolorosa" by Pergolesi together with her friend Simone Simons of Epica; both recognised as important classical and baroque pieces of music.Although her specialty is Metal, she is still able to put on a very decent fully classical performance. As you heard she has also enough control to get "poppy" or rock in her performance, even to the point to perform death growls. The only style I can come up with she never did is (Tibetan) Mongol-Tuvan throat singing.

Floor can not only sing a capella, she can also sing entries in a phone book (as demonstrated live by her in a Dutch radio show). Several songs by Nightwish can be seen as consisting of several movements, like in classical music. Please continue your exploration of this band.
They call her the Valkyrie Queen! She's very talented. Technically and with the right amount of emotions. You could give Floor any song from any genre and she'd kill it! They use a backing track from an orchestra and choirs. Would be quite impossible to take everyone on tour with them.

That 3rd of August 2013 everything in the universe aligned to give us one of the best concerts ever recorded. I know it sounds presumptuous but check it out and you'll see I am right. They were headlining the famous Wacken Open Air Metal festival in front of 82,000 people. This song is very melodic, but if you listen to other songs in this concert you'll find that they also have a different gear and Floor is able to do it all. You haven't seen even half of what she's capable of. Just listen to a song like Romanticide or Ghost River and you'll understand what I mean. One thing... whatever you do from them, choose a live version, they are the best live band in the world if you ask me... and yeah I have seen them live multiple times. Enjoy your journey🖤🤘

Watch out for Gabriel's comment with a ton of info. Nightwish Army, Blue Mountains Corps, Australia. Nightwish since 1996. This song was from their 2004 album "Once" with Tarja Turunen on vocals, unforgettable then. Floor added her own "tweaks" and made it her own. The London Philharmonic orchestra and London Metro Voices Choir recorded the backing track. Tuomas, on keyboards, composed this and said that he would play all of the orchestral parts - if he had ten hands! He's "The Metal Mozart"!
Wacken 2013 starring Nightwish and co-starring the 80,000 is..wow!! The energy this band always creates with their crowd connection is incredible!! Welcome aboard the Nightwish express. It takes you away. You don’t know where they’ll take you but you know it going to be friggin’ epic every time . Sensory overload….and Floorgasms..NW style!!
She can also do proper death metal growls, too. Try video titled "Revamp: Misery's no Crime. @ Mezz Breda 17-01-2014" for an example. (Unfortunately, that video is only a smartphone recording with audio that clips all the time but will still give you pretty good idea what she can do.)

The comparison with Evanescens is as right as it is wrong. Amy Lee is a classical pianist and therefore sings very classically. This makes them unique in the USA; you see them more often in Europe. In symphonic metal there are Amys in series and Floor is their queen. She sings more technically extensively than Amy. The Wacken Open Air is one of the largest and oldest metal festivals in the world with around 85,000 visitors in Germany. The bull's head on the left is the logo. The organ pipes are fake and hide three keyboards. The gentle, effortless singing of even complicated parts is typical for Floor. Likewise the mix of chest and head voice. Acapella? There is one only with a guitar: Nightwish - How's The Heart Acoustic (Planet Rock acoustic session) Nightwish usually only has growls sporadically. The band is absolutely the best in it’s genre, and even outside its genre. I Could go on to suggest songs but I’m sure that’s going to happen anyway. If you are interested in the lady just download her music on RUclips. She had her own band before Nightwish called After forever, but she also does solo shows and television appearances. I. Holland she appeared as one of the participants in Beste Sangers where she finally became popular in her own country. Thank God that this nothing like BabyMetal. I like great singers and Floor Jansen is one of few. There are Japanese all female bands with good singers such as Nemophila, Saiseiga and Band Maid because they have versatility but none are even close to Floor. And we are all used to the Evanescence comparison initially until you reach the end of the song and even this is a fraction of Floor's ability. Everyone will suggest live preferably 2013 onwards as then it is Floor who has taken Nightwish to another level.

Floor, vocals, is a Valkyrie Queen. Emppu, guitars is a guitar master! Marko, bass, is a superior guitarist, bassist and vocalist in his own right! Jukka, drums, is a stylistic drummer and probably one of the best in the genre. That leaves Tuomas, keys, he is the mastermind behind most of Nightwish’s music. He is the writer, arranger and composer. He is called the Metal Motzart. I hope to see you back with other reactions. Storytime from this same concert would be an excellent choice!🤘🎸

Welcome to the world of symphonic metal, introducing the Valkyrie the Goddess Floor Jansen sent from Valhalla to collect the souls of fallen warriors to sit with Odin. I'm always jealous of people hearing Nightwish for the first time.
Floor has been trained as a classical singer. There's a video around of a Dutch TV-show where she sings "Oh Mio Babino Caro" by Puccini, and she sang "Stabat Mater Dolorosa" by Pergolesi together with her friend Simone Simons of Epica; both recognised as important classical and baroque pieces of music.Although her specialty is Metal, she is still able to put on a very decent fully classical performance. As you heard she has also enough control to get "poppy" or rock in her performance, even to the point to perform death growls. The only style I can come up with she never did is (Tibetan) Mongol-Tuvan throat singing.

What you were hearing was the full power of the 110 piece London symphony orchestra and the 80 member London metro voices choir, fronted by one of the most skilled metal bands on earth. Then you add Floor Jansen's other-earthly vocals and this is the result. It's amazing beyond description, yet somehow it's not their best song...

Floor can not only sing a capella, she can also sing entries in a phone book (as demonstrated live by her in a Dutch radio show). Several songs by Nightwish can be seen as consisting of several movements, like in classical music. Please continue your exploration of this band.
They call her the Valkyrie Queen! She's very talented. Technically and with the right amount of emotions. You could give Floor any song from any genre and she'd kill it! They use a backing track from an orchestra and choirs. Would be quite impossible to take everyone on tour with them.

Welcome to the world of symphonic metal. You just saw Floor slay this 13th song of the set list. That 3rd of August 2013 everything in the universe aligned to give us one of the best concerts ever recorded. I know it sounds presumptuous but check it out and you'll see I am right. They were headlining the famous Wacken Open Air Metal festival in front of 82,000 people. This song is very melodic, but if you listen to other songs in this concert you'll find that they also have a different gear and Floor is able to do it all. You haven't seen even half of what she's capable of. Just listen to a song like Romanticide or Ghost River and you'll understand what I mean.
One thing... whatever you do from them, choose a live version, they are the best live band in the world if you ask me... and yeah I have seen them live multiple times. Enjoy your journey🖤🤘

Watch out for Gabriel's comment with a ton of info. Nightwish Army, Blue Mountains Corps, Australia. Nightwish since 1996. This song was from their 2004 album "Once" with Tarja Turunen on vocals, unforgettable then. Floor added her own "tweaks" and made it her own. The London Philharmonic orchestra and London Metro Voices Choir recorded the backing track. Tuomas, on keyboards, composed this and said that he would play all of the orchestral parts - if he had ten hands! He's "The Metal Mozart"!

She can also do proper death metal growls, too. Try video titled "Revamp: Misery's no Crime. @ Mezz Breda 17-01-2014" for an example. (Unfortunately, that video is only a smartphone recording with audio that clips all the time but will still give you pretty good idea what she can do.)

The comparison with Evanescens is as right as it is wrong. Amy Lee is a classical pianist and therefore sings very classically. This makes them unique in the USA; you see them more often in Europe. In symphonic metal there are Amys in series and Floor is their queen. She sings more technically extensively than Amy.
The Wacken Open Air is one of the largest and oldest metal festivals in the world with around 85,000 visitors in Germany. The bull's head on the left is the logo. The organ pipes are fake and hide three keyboards.
The gentle, effortless singing of even complicated parts is typical for Floor. Likewise the mix of chest and head voice.

The band is absolutely the best in it’s genre, and even outside its genre. I Could go on to suggest songs but I’m sure that’s going to happen anyway. If you are interested in the lady just download her music on RUclips. She had her own band before Nightwish called After forever, but she also does solo shows and television appearances. I. Holland she appeared as one of the participants in Beste Sangers where she finally became popular in her own country. Thank God that this nothing like BabyMetal. I like great singers and Floor Jansen is one of few. There are Japanese all female bands with good singers such as Nemophila, Saiseiga and Band Maid because they have versatility but none are even close to Floor. And we are all used to the Evanescence comparison initially until you reach the end of the song and even this is a fraction of Floor's ability. Everyone will suggest live preferably 2013 onwards as then it is Floor who has taken Nightwish to another level.
