Very nice video! At first, I thought this canyon was the one down Hole-in-the-rock rd near Escalante Utah. I soon realized that it was another Peek-A-Boo canyon! Now I have another destination to discover. Although I did not do the other one, I did explore Devil's Garden about 12 miles down Hole-in-the-rock road & loved wandering around the rock formations! Later on my trip, I wanted to drive down Cottonwood Canyon Rd past the turnoff to a famous arch. Alas, I had to turn around at a dip in the unpaved road; I had requested a Jeep from the rental company but was given a Nissan Rouge instead. It was not AWD but only front wheel drive & as the bottom of the dip in the road was a muddy mess I had to turn around....boy was I disappointed! Anyway, thanks for this video; I recently discovered your offerings & enjoy them.
Loved the video! Utah is so beautiful with the red sand trees, canyons, wildlife and more! Thank you for taking us on another adventure! Ps... I love the detailed narration...
The trail starts off Hwy 89 just 9 miles north of the town of Kanab. On the east side of the road is a small parking lot with the trailhead, look for Red Canyon Slot. Thanks so much for watching!
I guess it's time to upgrade my GoPro, as it had trouble keeping up in the low light of the canyon. Has anyone tried the new Hero 7? If so, let me know what you think!
Those slot canyons are so cool. I haven't been to this one but now I need to! You have to be careful with going into those with any signs of rain. Cool video Bill
Red Rock Crawlers If you get to the area you should try to make it. It's an easy hike for the whole family. Great tip. If there is rain anywhere in the area, please stay out if any canyon.
@@theflamesofinfinity3545 You van should have enough clearance and traction ability to make it. But vegatation on both side of the trail can make it narrow in places. You would probably get some pinstrioes. Wish I could be more help. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for watching! It was 2 years ago when I was there. The trail down does have some sandy sections but no real obstacles to go over. If you have 4WD you should be fine.

Sounds like you love exploring as much as we do. Thanks so much for watching!
Enjoyed your video! This is one of our favorite hikes. So much to do in Kanab Utah. We are so glad it’s only an hour away from home.
It is a great area. We need to make a return trip to see more.
This was super helpful! Thanks!!
Thanks so much for watching!
Just added it to my To Visit List... thanks
Mike Robbins It is a really cool trail and hike, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Thanks so much for watching!
Looks like another beautiful drive and hike!
Thanks so much, it was a great day out!
Great video, another place to add to our list. Such different topography than where we are at!
outdoor704 Thanks so much for watching! I love the terrain in southern Utah.
Wow. Inside the canyon is so cool. Would love to go see it in person.
If your travels ever find you in southern Utah, it is just one of several really cool things to do! Thanks so much for watching!
We plan yo go through Utah at some point for sure.

Another great video Bill! Thanks for the post brother!
fyrefox98 Thanks so much for watching! Have you had the Jeep out lately?
@@JKsouthwest I wish. Hurt my back at at work. After PT and some recovery time, I'll be hitting you up soon.

Awesome place.
It was an awesome place. We love visiting Utah!
Looks awesome! I may have to add it to "the list"
Selcouth Horizon It was a great spot to visit. There are lots of places to explore nearby as well!
Great video! Thanks for posting. I have a Sprinter RV (8500 lbs) with 32 inch tires and 4x4. Will I make it?

Great video and even better narration...all good info.
In your opinion, Will a F150 make it down that road?

Looks great! Do you thing a subaru outback can make it?
You shoud be fine in an Outback, it is a sandy trail so AWD/4WD will help, but there are no major obstacles to negotiate. Thanks so much for watching!
hopefully 4 low and 33 inch A/T tires will be enough hopefully sand isnt to deep or bad heading down soon
You will be fine. Have a great time!
Great video! I’m planning to go out there next week, will my stock wrangler JL sport make it out there ok?
Your stock Jeep will be fine! Have a great time and thanks for watching!
Nice vid with minimal babbling, and unobtrusive music. 3 miles on sand stops this Toyota Corolla cold.
ikmarchini Thanks so much for watching! You are correct, most passenger cars are not going to make it on this trail.
