It's a very special location and incredibly susceptible given its a station in conservation limbo. With the area's increasing popularity, we wanted to make sure to give some tips on staying safe and preserving the area's natural character. As always, it's great hearing from you. Thanks for watching and commenting!!!

That it is. The whole region is remarkable. We're sad that there's been so much contention over protecting such an incredible location. Thanks so much for watching!!!

amazing slot canyon! Just a question about the main arch rocks at 1:25 : How far is from the slot trailhead ? thanks

The arches are towards the mouth of Peek-a-Boo slot canyon (Seen at 1:00). The mouth of the slot canyon is just shy of one mile from the trailhead.
      Hope that helps.

That place looks beautiful! How much time it took you to complete the hike?

It's an amazing place, worthy of profound respect. We explored this and neighboring canyons for about 7 hours. Understand that this area is rugged and often poorly labeled.
If you attempt to explore the canyons of the Escalante region you should be comfortable navigating by map and compass and experienced in slot canyon exploration. People do get lost and injured in this area.
Hope that helps. Best wishes! And please leave no trace.

Any way this hike is doable with an infant? Looks super fun but I may need to be a responsible parent.

Some sections require quite a bit of scrambling and squirming in tight spaces. Carrying our backpacks was a frustration and they did not emerge unscathed. We would not want to attempt the same maneuvers with an infant or other small children.
      Hope that helps.

I'm glad i didn't see any names on the Rocks,
I can't stand that when you go somewhere beautiful and then you see stupid hit writen or scratched in the stone.
