I'd imagine it's probably a mixture of sora getting out of disadvantage easily while also having the potential to just combo tf out of palu lol

1:26 when people say “this +2 is harder than this other +2” what they mean is that what you have to do to counter play the opposing character’s options in one matchup is more difficult than it is to counter play whatever other character (to me, that usually means it requires more precision either with timings or spacings), however just being hard to perform doesn’t mean that the options don’t exist, and so despite one matchup being harder to perform the counter play for, because the character in question counters both of the opposing characters in question to the same extent, they both end up being in +2
I disagree with lucina and inkling. Mainly, I see Lucina and Inkling MU charts, palu beats them. Also, as a Lucina main, it feels pretty even based on how bair/up air invalidates Lucina's air game, especially in disadvantage, while Lucina's tilts and disjoints can do similar things in neutral.
I mean -1 is a slight disadvantage, is doable mainly cuz Lucina and Inkling are mainly fundies edgeguard to kill early character They're hard to hit, arguably better neutral tools in form of speed, small hurtboxes and better disjoints Both can struggle to kill (Lucina not so much) and usually people get greedy with killing asap, start swinging, shielding a lot and conest her airborne, which is a bad idea cuz she has Nair, Uair and Bair Play a grounded, whiff punish and no shield base gameplan and you just have to worry with dash attack (-21) an obvious dash grab and reactable projectiles if no one's willing to approach Palu basically has to catch you lacking and risking herself in neutral against a sword and a negative hurtbox characters, ain't gonna be easy, but is doable if you are patient enough
