Yeah, I'm pretty sure they didnt go to finals cause of that one scrim game Xynew decided to go AFK. I'm sure they would've won LAN if he didn't do that 🤔 good thing Zer0 let him know that he'll get dropped after that
@ItsMadzHD you think it's because of Xynew going afk that's so silly that's not even true zero is just way to cocky for his liking he pushed them to hard saying they have to get 2nd or better so it wasn't Xynews fault they didn't qualify
Hal is bang on. DZ had to stay on top throughout the tournament and roll through everyone. They hadn’t been tested under pressure from a losing position as a 3 man yet. They were either going to win by a landslide or fail to qualify for finals.
It may be them over-analysing a team that maybe just had an off day at the worst time. Keep in mind that they were only 1 point from qualifying in winners bracket. ÐZ imo will be fine and will bounce back stronger.
im sure they'll bounce back but in the losers bracket they looked defeated. They lost all confidence in themselves to perform bcuz they would have never thought in million years they wouldve played in that bracket.
Hal is explaining that they couldn’t come back meaning the chemistry between the players came down tsm made the comeback even when the chips were down but again no one listens to Hal and they keep chalking it up to luck or “bad days” just listen and try to take the help from Hal lol
whats crazy is if they made finals in winners by 1 point even if they looked like shit, i still would have had them or tsm winning finals, something about zero and hal on match point is just different just the way it goes i guess @@Astelch
Its hard to say, it seems like they had a strategy for groups because they ended up with most points but to be honest they did not look "good". They were consistently making it to top 10 but compared to teams like Dreamfire or Blackhand who were constantly making it into high placement as well as farming kills and converting wins, DZjust wasnt showing that same level of play. TSM either to be fair. But can't deny the 3 time back to back to back on match point was some champion levels.
Yea TSM was also struggling during bracket stage and during the first half of final as well. Probably having a bad day or 2 but their statistics when making it to top 5/top 3 and then going on to winning the game is insane. What a rollercoaster ride.
When you play too much of a video game that it fries your brain. It’s the same for professional athletes. If an athlete practices EVERY DAY before game day, yeah they’re gonna fuck up at some point the day of game day.
Yep getting too used to a game can be detrimental when it counts. Getting numb to all the senses, what you’re supposed to do, how you should feel, calm, anxious and strategic while making on the spot decisions. I can’t even imagine. I think DOJO not being under as much pressure helped them.
I mean during the TDMs Zer0 would just be straight screaming at Xynew for any small micro mistake he'd make. Gen always tries to diffuse the situation. I agree with Hal that they just got burnt out
Cynew hasnt been dealing with zero for that long so the fact he had to put up with 8 hours back to back for 2 weeks. Especially seeing how young he is that did a total on him imo
I was a national Taekwondo champion a long time ago. I used to over-practice so much that it was like when you repeat a word over and over and it just loses all meaning in your mind and it just becomes funny noises. That's how I learned that you can train too much. Scaling back and resting and reflecting actually helped me improve.
We should blow thos out of proportion, this happens a lot regardless of e-sports or real life sports. In a skill based environment, performance can vary under stress and mental exhaustion. The most important aspect is how DZ will bouce back from this.
Trashtalking your teammates isn't really that much of a problem, its more of like a banter with subtle seriousness or a waking call for them to step up their game.
@@Great.Username This year alone we saw a ton of roster changes because they lacked chemistry or argued. Gifted players failing because the igl didn’t lead well but argued and blamed was common. The issue is the optics of it looks childish.
