Said it before, but the "Oh, at this point I had a problem, here's how I fixed it" engineering genius in these compared to countless "This piece of equipment that was designed for millions of users didn't fit my exact workflow, therefore it is bad" videos really sets this channel apart. Not only does it show you solutions, it inspires you to think about what creative ways you can use to make your job easier.
Man I've said it before but thank you so much for taking the time to share your expertise. My business is growing and I now have an opportunity to use more professional gear but what you're doing is allowing us to use that gear with far more guidance and possibilities; saving immense time in the field and taking our work to that next level. Can't thank you enough, you've been a huge help..
Human body harness gimbal rig will work with various types of wheeled transport, and the human body does a great job of absorbing vibration. Compact rig vs. elaborate rig attached to specific bike
Awesome setup. For me, the best setup to film anything up to 60km/h in almost any terrain 9appart from hard offroad) is an electric moped with a large seat for the passanger. The driver is concerned about the driving and the passanger films with a gimbal (Ronin M) staying with his back to the driver and for safety can be attached with a quick release cord to the drivers jacket. Being electric, the moped has a quiet motor, has very good suspension and also the acceleration needed for action shots but can be driven slowly and silently in any area.
i love all you do. because you are about my age and learned the classic way. plus now you found out what i did too! crazy what we can create with almost no budget! thank you for all your tipps!
The magic of grip... This is so cool, came from NoFilmSchool where they rigged to a cargo bike to shoot a night scene! Seeing this work on dirt roads is amazing!
So cool! You do such a great job explaining everything. All the detail I need and nothing I don't. Multiple ways of achieving the same objective and the pros and cons of each. I feel so inspired after watching your videos. Thank you!
man been trying this on my motorcycle for a while now... its kind of what you did here!!! your is better donde tho hahaha i guess i will fix it for something more like this !! thanks for the video!!
I come across this video in my searching for a "simple" handlebar mounting solution for my Sony A7R2 and DJI Ronin-SC on my road bike... To replace that crappy Gopro Hero 10 when I'm on a sceneric ride because the image from GoPro is indeed horrible if you are not sponsored by GoPro or already got used to the modern image quality standard from real cameras. Didn't expect the content of the video to be what I would to have seen completely... It's just mind-blowingly crazy... 🤣 This is definitely an overkill but I just love it! Imaging you got the full roadie kit on and appear at a famous local cycling climb with all these gears... Plus the Decathlon bike is good, you don't have to tape it out, this brand deserves a little free "exposure".
Thanks a lot for this comment. The bike from decathlon is great, really, and I have taped the logo not to cover it, but this tape is a protection from the previous clamp I tested. 💪👍👌
Although I don't see myself in this specific scenario there is always something to learn from your videos. I really like the way you mounted the 3D focus module below the lens, I mount it on top of my mattebox and it looks for the subject a little higher than I'd want... Thanks!
Oh dear. Another great job adam! In my mind i thought one wheel XR is good for mid speed. But wow i really have no idea using hydra alien!! Even i have alien too! Haha thanks adam. You are the best👍👍
Would you please put up a parts/how-to list about how you altered the tilta float controller? I have an RS2 and a tilta float, and this seems like a great idea. Thanks in advance!
You are the real best boy, Adam! Thanks for the inspiration, I'm going to do a car mount like yours! I would hit subscribe button one more time if I could!
This is a great video! I've watched it several times now. Do you have an idea how I could make something like you made, but just with the DJI Pocket 2?
This channel deserve more subscribers and views , thank you fir videos , I found this car mount , CAME-TV GS11 Camera Stabilizer Arm with Suction Mount Kit (2 to 22 lb Load) I don’t know if you know about it . I want to buy this one but there is not any reviews on this product , i asked company to send me free for testing but they didn’t ) they give only 10% discount ) . Maybe be they will give it to you 😅
At 3:41 you say you'll leave a link in the description for the spring arm that will cost $70. There is no link, unfortunately. Could you please share that?
Wow that is an interesting setup! Personally, I use the DJI Pocket 2 handheld or chest mounted and it works well. If I need a more filmic look, I would take a cargo ebike and film in the back with a gimbal while an assistant pedals the bike.
At 5:45, I notice you have a zip tie or rubber band that straps the lens to the base plate. May I ask what is the purpose of that? Is it to stop the lens from wobble while focus pulling? Thank you for another great video!!
@@BestboyAdam Ahh, that's a neat trick!! Thanks you for the reply, I will try it out. Also, what do you think make the lens wobble on the P4K? Is it the weak lens mount design? 🤔
Hello I have a question and that is how to move the ronin with a rc remote control? I wanted to know this because with me the connection after a few meters no longer goes. The Ronin is attached to an Octacopter.
What about using a doubles bike? You could Mount the camera on the back, attach an electric motor to the bike in back, have a setup in the front to monitor and adjust the camera.

Just chuck on osmo with an x5r on it. It has a native bike mount and all. Those things are amazing and a fraction of the cost, not to mention hassle.

How necessary is the dji ronin s focus module, do you think it makes a big difference?
can you make a video testing the rs2 with and without gps module
You should build a rear mount like what they did for the motorcycle scenes in the Batman (2022) and Tron legacy
Love the channel mate.
🙏thank you Captain
How did you mount the focus motor rail on the opposite side? Been trying to do this with my set up but can’t find a good solution
Mindblowing!!!

@7:39... did you just extend out the antenna or did you have to do anything else inside?
I only extended the antenna, I didn't do anything else.
How do you keep from shredding your legs on all of those clamps hooks and screws sticking out everywhere? Thx!

Yes, exactly, it holds the lens better . It's actually a plastic zip tie
