🔥🔥 as with all your videos...I always struggle with my arms way too fast and shooting my right hip out early extending....going to get to work and get my arms slower and use the chair for the drill
I guess it depends on people. If I do that, then my ball will go straight 30-40 degrees to the left. What works for me is on the back swing I’m sending my left shoulder down to the ball and then on the down swing I’m sending my right shoulder down to the ball while keeping my head behind the ball until impact. That makes crispy contact and the ball goes far and straight. While doing that I think slow motion, as you said, (which is not what is happening in real) but this feeling of playing in slow motion really helps. That’s all I have to think about and everything goes smooth and natural which subsequently makes my golf swing pretty much very consistent. Thank you for the video.
Great video, but I do struggle to understand phrases like "in transition" and "clearing the hips". No idea what this means. My hips don't seem to be in the way, so why do I get them out of the way ? And how is rotating my hips getting them out of the way? Great video, and I do follow your excellent videos, but I find meaningless phrases very frustrating
Thank You!!! The missing link in my evolving swing. I’m SINKING from now on. So appreciate you, thanks for the video🙏🏻
This is a great video. Details exactly how I spin my hips open and get stuck with trail arm. Will work on chair drill. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it Jim 👍🏼
I’ve been battling a shank and just realized it was caused by my early extension. Your video was an “ah ha” moment. Thank you!

@@jchowngolf I practice your drills in my garden without being able to hit balls but it makes such a difference when I get to the range.

how much lateral movement before the "sinking" part of the hip movement?
😁👍
Thanks bud!
