Still too early to doubt the team. The team knows the issues they're having and are working on it. This also gave chance for their other players to have more chances to play longer. They're still figuring things out but I'm still hoping they win again this year specially with cp3.
Klay is out of rhythm they say trade him but once he’s out that slump they will regret saying that they said to trade Wiggins he dropped 31 and almost won the game for them

I’m still rocking with the Warriors. We desperately need the rest of the team to give respect to Curry and show up for him on the court. We know what we are getting from Curry night in and Night out, but if Klay and Wiggins specifically don’t show up we stand no chance
I like the “Prisioners of the moment” ideology. The problem with Klay is not that he’s not making shots it’s actually the shots he’s taking and lack of awareness on the court. He’s taking us out of games even in that Lakers series he was chucking contested off balanced 3-pointers. Don’t know why they can’t try him off the bench (Curry did it in the playoffs while coming off a injury). The same way nobody understands why it’s so hard to get a big for at least couple of mins a game.
I agree… I don’t like either of the extremes… For example, the people that say to trade Klay or say he’s “washed” don’t make sense - or when Klay has one decent half of basketball and some people post “Klay haters in shambles right now.” Both of those groups are idiots.
With that said, I do think Klay has to come off the bench. Part of it is his shooting issues (and I agree with you that it’s not just having off shooting nights, but his shot selection is bad and selfish at times) but a big part for me is his defense as well - which is to say, Klay can’t play defense anymore.
Coming off the bench, Klay would get to play against the other team’s bench more often, and he should just focus on catching and shooting, trying to play solid team D, and getting rebounds.
A big issue for me is not the lack of talent - I think the Warriors have the players/talent to win - but Kerr is hurting the team as well. Their defensive adjustments are terrible or non-existent, and the lineups don’t make sense. Kerr refuses to cut minutes of the vets when they are struggling and he refuses to give minutes to the young guys. I’m glad BP is playing but Kerr went from not playing him at all to playing him FAR too much… Then, the rookie that should be getting regular minutes, TJD, can’t get in the game.
I can definitely see this team doing very well if they can all maximize their skill sets and play together, but in addition to getting consistency from the vets and younger players, Kerr will also have to be realistic about how to properly manage the minutes and rotations of the aging vets and younger players.
@@robsmall110 Agree with everything! I think Kerr needs to let the young guys off the leash and give them minutes. I understand there’s so much minutes one can get on a 10+man rotation but when we played teams with bigs like Cavs , Thunder etc instead of him utilizing TJD for example, he goes smaller and older.
We cannot play the same exact system that won us the Championships for the simple fact that the league has caught up on what gave us an edge which was the 3pt shooting and at the same time we have gotten older and slower while everyone else is young and athletic. Klay is having bad selections because he cannot get separation on the defender and on defense and rebounding most times he just stands there and is not active.
I had commented a while back that we needed to play with Curry in order for us to figure it out offensively and even though we lost we found out what PoDZ can do. We need to also bring in Lester to try to fill in that Poole role a bit.
All i can say is the warriors are having a hard time now but better to see the problem as early as now than to figure it out mid season. Hopefully we figure things out

The best takeaway in that gutsy heartbreaking previous loss to OKC was how magnificent it was to see Andrew Wiggins find his game. They will come around. They are champions.

Yes, our Warriors have fooled everyone at least 7 times. But, you can’t fool Father Time, and you can’t deny that a 40 per cent 3 point shooting average is good. Youth, the shooting of Steph, and new talent has gotten our GSW’s multiple championships and they have been declared by many to be a dynasty. In life, there are two things that are guaranteed: 1. Death. All things born will die, and all things we know will change, and 2. Past success is no proof of future success. Anyone who can’t see this does not understand that they are the ones who are actually being fooled….Oh, and one more thing, in today’s NBA and professional sports where the talent levels year after year see great improvements, winning require knowledge, thinking, and adjustments on the fly. Reputations and history can’t get you over this hump, and you can’t make the rest of the world stay in your past success. Move on, give credit for the past, and stop being “fooled”.

I will agree that the losses were pretty close. A basket or two could have made a difference. I also agree that there was a perfect storm of bad situations. Podz got a chance to shine, and we got a peek at a spicy Wiggins last game. That last OKC 3 pointer was amazing and great luck. If he woulda missed, it would be a different narrative Klay is always slow to start, and always up and down. But it does sometimes feel like all these teams are outshooting us...especially in the 3 range, and are making the shots that usually are GSW highlight clips. It is worriesome. But if they make a comeback, it will only be that much of a better story. THEN I'll say 'they fooled everyone'. For now, I'm snorting that hopium like Tony Montana at the office.

Great video! This may be your best one yet. Nice comparison to the regular season woes of other championship teams as well as reminding us that many of these wins have been by thin margins.
The one thing that many of us would like to see is more flexibility and variation with Kerr’s lineups, especially when it comes to Klay. Let him come off the bench and regain his confidence so that some of the other guys can get more game time and maybe help us win a few more games in the meantime.

These losses are just part of the process in becoming NOT the most perfect team in 2023-24, just the best out of 29 other teams. We’ll get there. Kuminga or Moody would probably get a shot first but they still gotta give Klay some more games to see if he can figure it out. He’s a notoriously slow starter, last year he started off struggling too and finished the season shooting 41% and led the league in 3s made.

Same thing happened last year through the first like 15-20 games and people were saying the same things but then he got going and finished the season around his career average numbers and led the league in 3 pointers made. I don’t think it’s too much of concern, yet. If he’s still struggling after another 10 or so games, then it maybe time worry about him and Kerr may need to move him to the bench.

Don’t forget that in draymond/klay ejection game against the wolverines, curry wasn’t playing either. That means a bench team and 3rd stringers played against antman and his team and the loss margin wasn’t crazy. Think about that and the wolverines didnt keep a huge lead the whole game, it was fairly close.
