    House is an epiphany, is the outcry of why bad things happens to good people, why geniuses or people that are right get misunderstood because clarity and simplicity is surrounded by the unexplainable like love and emotions. Dying is easy living is hard....

    • @Idk-bw3ib
      @Idk-bw3ib 2 года назад +7

      People DO change. When their ideas change, when their outlook on life change, influenced by someone or an accident, or something very powerful that shook them. People do change...
      In another way we can look it, humans are not dynamic beings, we are static. So the whole argument of "change" is BS, we are just who we are...

    • @found2273
      @found2273 2 года назад

    "You spend your whole life looking for answers because you think the next answer will solve all your problems: make you a little less miserable, because when you run out of questions you don't just run out of answers... you run out hope." : only someone who truly understands would write this line. If theres anyone out there who is truly smart enough to understand the significance of that statement please comment or thumbs up so that i know i'm not alone in my misery.

    • @tofattofly1
      @tofattofly1 10 лет назад

      Could you explain why you are miserable?

    • @n1ckbruce
      @n1ckbruce 10 лет назад +24

      You don't have to explain yourself to me or anyone else, man. Just know you're not alone.

    • @ribbitgoesthedoglastnamehe4681
      @ribbitgoesthedoglastnamehe4681 10 лет назад +9

      Methinks its not answers you seek, its hope.
      You live on a trickle of hope, just enough to take the edge off the pain, and every new answer gives you a new daily fix that will soon run out.
      Tell you what. If you believe in nothing, then there is no hope. You die and its all over and nothing matters anymore.
      But if you have a cause that can outlive yourself, like your family, children, your country, your belief in a cause, or just general "goodness of mankind", then you will have a neverending supply of hope.
      Is there something you would be ready to die for? Something greater than you?
      Theres your hope.

    • @antman31815
      @antman31815 10 лет назад +1

      I have causes greater than myself that i pursue on a regular basis and i have accomplished milestones in those things. There are solutions to the problems in my personal life but currently, the answer i'm chasing, involves finding a way to increase willpower: trying to create more neural pathways between my prefrontal cortex and my emotional brain spots. The APA had some really good tips but if anyone has anything to add on that topic i would appreciate it.

    • @ribbitgoesthedoglastnamehe4681
      @ribbitgoesthedoglastnamehe4681 10 лет назад +10

      John Avitia Regular basis? Accomplished milestones?
      You are not interested in them. Not really. Its just work. And busywork at that. I hate to sound religious here, but hope is a type of faith, and faith is blind.
      And willpower does not make you happy, it only makes you more unhappy.
      The happiest people on Earth are the least smart.
      You speak of neural pathways when you should be talking about emotions.
      Ive tried the intellectual solution for all my life, and trust me, it doesnt work. Intelligence is intelligence and emotion is emotion, and they dont change into each other. You can mix them, but they remain separate. Even if you increase the capability for emotion somehow, its still trying to solve a software problem through hardware.
      Ok, If you are anything like me, you need to learn to let go of the useful. Do something completely useless. Play. Its really difficult, I know. To stop being rational for a moment. Its damn scary. And not just stop being rational, but to relax and find enjoyment in it.
      Yes, its madness, its madness in its literal sense, but its about being human.
      Stop analyzing it, stop being the scientist and observer, and become part of the human experience. Get drunk in a social situation and tell rude jokes. Or take up acting. Or better yet, challenge yourself to do stand-up comedy.
      But whatever you do, notice the times you find happiness, and your emotional state. Its not your normal state, if you are normally unhappy. And whatever is your normal state, its not something you can be happy being. Learn the difference. You cant learn what dry feels like when you are underwater. You have to get out of that zone first.

    To live and being miserable. To experience chronic pain. I have seen myself so many times as House. The frustrating thing about not being able to be happy. To always wake up in pain, to wake up sweeting. Not to get a good night sleep. To always walk with crutches. I see so many people wasting thier lives with drugs, alcohol and not living. I'd give anything to be a day without pain. To be able to wake up rested. To be able to feel happy again. Not spending days trying to deny pain everyday.
    So please people. Live your life if you can do it. Cause some people can't do it. People like me. I know it might seem selfish, but this my day everyday. My story is just a single one of hunderds of thousands of people living like this. Take care of yourself and thoose around you.

    I agree with MuscleUniversity and Jack James that this is the best HouseMD tribute with its sound/music tracks and everything else. Superb. Thank you for posting.

    "Three Stories" from the first season of House. By far one of the best episodes in the series... In my opinion at least.

    I would kill for an hd version of this with better audio equalizing. You can turn the music down a smidge and raise it again when people arent speaking. This is amazing.

    Brilliant. I chanced upon this by accident and I have never seen a episode but after seeing this I am definitely watching it.
    Thank you for introducing me to something I might have never seen

    "You want unhappiness to have a cure."
    And who the hell doesn't? That line bugs me every time I hear it. What was so strange about House trying to escape the pain and make his life tolerable, even though he risks his life in the process? It's his life - only him can know if it's worth it or not. It's not like he is not rational, he obviously considered all the pros and cons.
    Everybody around him failed to make him happy so he's pretty much out of options - so Wilson has no right to lecture him.

      didn't house cure his unhappiness with vicodin?

    I know what you mean, I just reached my two year anniversary, not exactly a happy one. It really makes me understand (not symphatize) with the house character. He wants the pain to go away, not sympathy or pity. And for the first time, I believed him when he said he has a pain-problem, not a pain management one.

    I suffer like this fictional character-- considering that there is no purpose to anything then what is there to enjoy? Certainly nothing that means anything. "To be special means you must be alone." As Chase put it.

      It's fine. As you grow older you'll forget and get distracted. This applies obviously if you're no longer alone. But if you are truly special you'll always be alone, even if you are surrounded by people. Let's be honest here, they will never understand. Going through life without questioning anything while you build this ladder of truths and existential questions hoping that one day you'll find something that makes sense, that one this you searched for all along. I'll tell you something now. At the end of that ladder there is nothing, The only truth i found is that there is no purpose only the illusion of it.

    I just want to give house and wilson a massive hug, idk exactly why, probably because i feel bad for them both, some of it feels relatable in a strange way,like im missing something, like house. if i wanted 2 people to be mates with forever, it would be house and wilson

    Having the music on here just make this particulor video chessy. House deserves its quitness, because the very drama it dissplays is powerful enough.
