Blaze Pizza was started by the owners of Wetzel’s Pretzels. It is what it is. I like thin crust pizza for lunchtime eating. Blaze makes a pizza that is hot, fresh and not to heavy for a midday meal. I get the basic Margherita pizza, with low moisture mozzarella (although fresh mozzarella is available). Just right.
Marcos sent me a coupon for a free cheese pizza. It was weird. They had used corn meal to keep the crust from sticking to the oven. I tried again with a pepperoni.. it was okay. But if you can't get a cheese pizza right, it's unlikely the rest will be good.
Interesting. Personally, since I moved to Asia nearly 26 years ago I have never heard of Pizza Inn, CiCi's, Blaze, Marcos, Jets, California Pizza Kitchen, Donatos or Hungry Howies And I would never put Pizza Hut, Dominos, Pap Johns or Mod above Sbarros so I guess what I am saying is I put Sbarros above the other chain pizza places. Perhaps when I am back in the States next I will try one of those other places I previously hadn't heard of but I will skip the one's making Pan pizzas. I grew up in NY so better pies can be had on most street corners.
Dominos changed their pies a bit. It's not as plain as it was 26 years ago. CiCi's lost a lot of locations because of the bug, which is a shame because it was nice when you just wanted a lot of ok pizza. Donatos is my favorite non-local pizza chain, and I sometimes make a point of going there since I'm out of their delivery area.
5:54 VERY happy tp see Marco's getting some love. They do have the best pizza IMO. I often order the thin crust, square cut, Pepperoni Melt or Ultimate which is their version of meat lover's. Delicious ingredients generously proportioned across the surface and reasonably priced are great factors to consider when ordering a pizza. If you have a Marco's near you, give them a try. You'll be very pleasantly surprised!
Didn't Donato's try to expand its territory 10-15 years ago? I'm glad that we still have it where I live (sort of, I still have to drive a bit to get to one), but its lack of nationwide status isn't for lack of trying.
To me i need to know who the chef/ cook is the day i order so i can keep note and order when the best cook/chef is in. I only have 2 mom and pop stores i will order from
This is nothing but an opinion. Papa John's makes bad pizza. The last time I tried one of their "new" pizza, the person messed it up, they wouldn't refund my money or make it right. Yelp? 😆Taste is subjective. No two people experience anything the same way. If anything, that should be used for the service, prices, look of the store, cleanliness, and so on. Pizza Hut's prices are too high given what you get. Domino's has, IMO, the best pizza for price, good coupons, and even some new options on the menu. Little Caesar is a close second.

There's a little neighborhood Papa John's in my neighborhood of Lower Nob Hill that I've been riding by on my bike for years. What have I been missing! Will fix that, today.
I've never heard of most of these places. Of course, living in the Boston area, like NYC, Chicago. Philidelphia, the authentic mom and pop shops won't let these cheapo imitators get a foot in the door. Even Pizza Hut here, is in a death spiral. Your poor viewers live in food deserts, to settle for 4'th rate imitations of good food. Save money and spend time, and learn to make great food for yourselves!!!!

There used to be a Cici's pizza close by where I live. It was like flavored cardboard.
