I'm really amazed at Goma's cooking skills. Richard Gomez was my favorite Filipino actor way back in the '80s & '90s. Crush ko si Goma, sya yung image ko ng lalaking-lalaki. Finding Goma in RUclips doing cooking demonstration surprised me. Then I started watching and WOW! He's actually a great cook! One could easily tell from his movements while cooking, his cutting skills, his handling of the knife, utensils, cookware, his knowledge about ingredients & spices all tell me Goma has been cooking all through his adult life! I'm really a fan of Goma.

Ang anak kong Chef naman, Chard, anak namin ni Manny Yabut ng Ms Do, he taught me na the last touch sa lengua sa barko is they top in it with Coffee ground. I use Nescafe gold naman. Ang sauce naman niya is roux muna. Nagbblend sya ng mushrooms din. Then we add cooking cream na Elle n Vire. Pero may sliced mushrooms pa rin sa sauce. This dish is one of our bestsellers sa Ulam ni Chel. Sarap yan. Panalo.
Matagal nadin akong hindi nagluto ng lengua. This video inspired me as well as challenge me to cook my wife’s favorite dish. Likewise I’ve seen my favorite Pepsi Jubilee watch that’s a bonus Mr. Gomez.

OMG! One of my favorite foods! Lengua tacos are delicious! Dito lang sa America ako nakatikim ng lengua ng baka. Kasi tuwing nag kakatay kami ng baka sabi ng mga lolo, tiyohin namin bawal daw mga batang kumain ng dila dahil lalaki daw dila namin at maghihingalo kami gaya nang baka. Siyempre takot din kami kaya hindi kami kumakain. Tapos nung 1980's meron kaming nakilalang American na may cattle ranch sa Olympia (WA state) bumibili kami ng buong baka tapos sila ang mag cu-cut ng mga meats. Tapos nagluto tatay ko ng lengua na parang asado tapos sinabihan kami na kumain pero sabi namin baka lumaki dila namin I was 14 years old at that time, sabi nya niloloko lang kayo dahil MASARAP. So, mag mula non isa sa mga handa namin pag Christmas and lengua. Pag umuuwi kami sa Pinas pag nagkatay kami ng baka lengua at bopis ang gusto ko. Wala kasing tinda na beef lungs dito sa US kasi pinagbawal NG FDA. Kaya pag nagkatay ka ng baka pwede mong iuwi ang lungs.
My Nanay’s favorite meat to cook she called it “ lingua estofada” she only cook on special occasion because beef tongue is expensive. Maybe I will cook this coming Immaculate Conception feast day since it’s our family tradition. Happy Holidays from Seattle Washington 🎄🎄🎄⛈

Hi Sir Richard, i suggest you can chill the lengua after boiling. Chill it sa ref for a day para mag set yun tongue and it is easier to slice aftewards. Little tip,lang in the future if gagawa po kayo ulit. More power to your cooking show!!

Love your lengua! Mom used to do it with a different twist. Being from Pampanga, she loved to cook. Hers was the lengua estofado. I used to love watching her cook. That's where my sisters and I got our love for cooking, as well as our discriminating taste for food. More power!
Yummy! Lengua is also one of our Christmas dishes on the table and mechadong baka. Your version looks so good with matching garlic bread. Sana gawa ka ng beef mechado yung may micha ng taba . I'm not a chef but as far as I know, we should only use extra virgin oil for salads, not when we cook it. Instead, we use the olive oil for healthy cooking. I would add butter when I cook lengua, it makes it creamier but I guess Richard's family is super healthy.
