- The Datsun Z, and all of its models from the 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z, have grown immensely in popularity. But the one Z I hold above almost all others is owned by our very own favorite Fast And Furious Actor; Sung Kang. Sung owns a Datsun 240Z known as the Fugu Z (Fuguz). The Datsun (Nissan) has quite the history going back to 2015 and his build process with his friends Greg Hwang and Michael Jen. From Greddy partnering up on the build, to Rocket Bunny developing the incredible kit that's now on the car, the Fugu Z is an incredible example of a properly modified Datsun Z. @@Skdjdjdjsjxjxjd the car they got the engine from was turbo and they removed the turbos then he bought the car you see and installed it, alot of people njoy the noise of a car with out forced air induction and although modern cars have gotten rid of turbo lag its still present in older turbo cars making it feel as if your powerband comes on very sudden and requiring you to maintain your rpms on a higher side if you want that go go on notice.

Independent throttle body has got to be the most underrated things ever, everyone thinks of turbos but gosh, individual throttle body is just the best sound in the auto Industry
Comes as 'standard' with the RB26 and makes it better responsive than its rival, the 2JZ. Loved mine, still sad I sold it!

@@BrokenSmokinSpokes it’s a completely different sound tho, F/I TB doesn’t sound as throaty, N/A ITBs always sound much better
@@guss25100 a throttle body or TB is a valve that lets air into the engine. In normal cars there's one TB for all cylinders, whether it's a 3 or an 8 cylinder. Individual throttle bodies or ITB means there's a TB for every cylinder. The benefits are that by design these are much closer to the actual cylinder than a normal TB, making for better throttle response. This is important for turbo engines too since you will get less turbo lag.
Ps. It’s a rb26; not 25. That’s my mistake folks!!

My grandmothers neighbor has that exact setup and it’s one of my favorite cars I’ve ever seen. I can definitely see that winning awards because it’s such a sweet setup
I miss mine so much, I had a k24 swapped 240zx, I drove it for two weeks before a drunk driver ran a red light and totaled it😔

He probably meant a 240 Z , since this video is about an old Z.

@@Boosted00 yes, my bad. I meant 240z, I was still distraught at that time. I was able to salvage the built engine at least. But now with decent 240z’s becoming so expensive, I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford a new chassis at least not anytime soon:(
I was fortunate enough to be at SEMA in 2015 and saw the reveal. It's such an awesome build. So many small details when you see it in person.

My dad had a 77 280z , so much fun
Learned how to drive a manual gearbox with it.
Had headers and full 3in exhaust kit. Sounded amazing. Miss that car! Miss my dad !

Honestly, very nice in the game. I’d love to see one of these in person though, they’re so beautiful in general, and the rocket bunny kit is badass

Buddy didn't even scratch the surface of what all is done to this thing. Like 100's of hours of stitch wielding to straighten the rigidity of the chasis.
