That's not apples fault that other companies are trash enough to not go their way but instead go the way apple provides. "Apple makes money with this, so Im doing the same" is just simple management, especially if you call yourself Samsung.
Not really when you see the file directory system that they've finally implemented for iOS 13 and iPad OS. It finally turns the iPad basically into a personal computer and allow for file management across all Apple devices (finally)
@@HaydenMeade13 Did you ever ask yourself why they didn't implement it before? It's because they don't want you using anything other than the iTunes store to buy your MP3s. The only change is that they're trying to position the iPad pro as a laptop replacement, and with no file system access it's a major non starter for any real office environment. Apple pretends they're doing things for your own good by saying this keeps your apps isolated and secure, but really it's to force you into vendor lock in.
Coming from someone using an iPhone, an iPod, a Mac and an iPad, I adore you for making this video. - You remain calm and professional throughout the entirety of the video - You're willing to accept others' views and that there may be some for which Apple products may work best, going as far as advising them to get one - You remind us that all the fanboys (of which we see plenty of examples in the comments, from both ends) aren't valuable sources and aren't to be listened to - The video ends where content ends, no outros or anything alike Guys, if you want to make a video about your personal views on a hot topic, THIS is how you do it. A like well deserved.
Google Cendrum iPhone and iPad I'm not really fussed about, I would prefer android but I don't care if someone s using an iPhone, but a Mac is objectively worse than a Windows or Linux pc, a AC is so ludicrously overpriced that a pc for half the price is high end, the Mac is not high end, for 2000 euro you can get an r7 1800x, a gtx 1080ti an x370 motherboard, and still have almost 1000 euro left for the rest of the components (ssd, kbm, monitor, case etc.)
Frisbie147 this is the same philosophy I had as a freshman in high school, and is a fundamentally flawed way to look at the question. Before you call me an apple shill, I currently have a PC running fedora 27, and windows 10 dual boot with a Ryzen 1700 and GTX 1060. I also have a MacBook pro. I would be very hard pressed to consider a laptop other than a MacBook, for a few reasons. The trackpad is by far the best on the market, bar none. OS X has the most intuitive gesture system, and going to a Windows laptop or even worse, a Linux one is a clear step down. Windows is also non Unix based. As a programmer, that is important to me, and running Linux subsystem in Windows is an underwhelming compromise at best. Lastly, the build quality, yes Windows laptops are better than they used to be, and the gap has narrowed considerably, but my MBP is the best built laptop I've ever had. The real issue though is your value based evaluation. Not everyone cares about specs, and even with inferior specs, often MacBooks will feel far faster than equivalently specced Windows computers, solely due to the OS, native applications, and the speed of their SSD's and RAM. Sure you can build a PC with far better specs for less, but who really cares? Are you gonna lug your rig into business meetings? Take notes on your desktop? If you're buying a gaming PC, yeah, Mac's are an awful value, but that's why nobody does that. They have a use case, and saying that just because my Ryzen rig was cheaper than my MBP means there's no point in having it is one of the dumbest arguments you can make. Hardware isn't everything, and not just that but raw specs aren't all of hardware either.
@auriskv Yeah i hear you! I use my Macbook Pro 2015 15in for music programming on apples own Logic X and i'll be damned if any program IMO beats that. It's just so smooth and they give you so much for the $200 spent on it. I use others like Ableton Live but I just get into it and doesn't seem as streamlined. I also use the Macbook Pro for DJing and it has never crashed even playing 6+ hours when i'm sweating like a pig and tired by the end of it. haha. I won't use another laptop either. My 2009 macbook 13in is still kicking too. : )
Google Cendrum Man please leave the iPad out, i swear it’s the only Apple product i love, it’s my midi keyboard, my notebook and just my main driver and hey most of these videos got iPhones and macbooks in em that are faulty, did you see an iPad yet? 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
I remember the level of pure hate that I saw in the comments section of this video back in 2015/2016 when I first watched it. Oh, how the tables have turned… keep it up Louis! This one aged like fine wine!
My daughter fell asleep while watching a movie on her Macbook in bed. The planket probably got over it. It started smoking. Only by chance she touched it while asleep, burned herself and woke up to realize that her room was all full of smoke. In shock she took the Macbook, opened the Window and threw it out. She woke us, crying. We opened all the windows. Then we saw that her fingers had big blisters. I went down to touch the Macbook very quickly. Even so I burned my finger. I poured water over it and it vaporized. The next day I inspected it. The keyboard was molten. We were lucky our daughter didn't die and the house did not burn down. How can Apple not add a heat sensor and shut the computer down, if it gets too hot, for whatever reason!
Your comment, along with this video, just made me cancel my order for the new Macbook Air. I'm terrified that this could happen to me and my family. One of issues I've heard is that it overheats and I do not want that. I hope your family is doing well and that Apple has compensated you fairly for your troubles.
Angelina Mainetti use Dell inspiron. The one that looks like a macbook air. I have it and its insanely good. If you need more performance based usage, go for dell xps or hp
@@angelinamainetti8596 the new Mac air has no cooling so it will only last a year or 2 before the CPU will burn out, you saved yourself a pain in the backside that will appear in a few years.
It has a sensor but if something is on fire it will not stop being on fire bc it's off.. and it was most overheated bc you daughter her blanket got clogged up in the vents so no cooling. I still hate apple though
Just wanted to say, using water to put out a laptop fire might not be a good idea. Laptops have lithium batteries, that when exposed to water ignite or explode and are very unstable (demonstration: ruclips.net/video/cTJh_bzI0QQ/видео.html). In the video they are peeling the battery off, but if the computer is on fire, that protection layer is probably off already. Also avoid using water with electrical fires. So, the right kind of fire extinguisher (electrical fire) is required, and if possible, just get the hell away from that thing! They can explode and do serious damage. I'm glad you and your family are OK.
@@kenbrake2828 That just isn't true though friend. I can promise you with over 1 billion percent certainty that isn't true. Proof: My Samsung work in almost every area that has a signal and works at 100% more efficiency compared to my old iPhone. The better life of my new phone is over 400% my original iPhone and the battery lasts 3x longer. And the ram and storage are 1 billion times better. I've tried both abd the results are astoundingly different. Samsung is superior.
Good marketing? They dont fix you broken screen and tell you to buy the newest one istead. Id say the nigerian scammers are better businessmen than the whole apple company, only reason people buy it are because they probably grew up with it or either thought it actually was good, wich it isnt
@Dark Mode They're only doing it for their own, personal benefit and financial gains, nothing else. They didn't do anything for any other reason so far. It's logical to assume that they'll send any crumb of personal information they can find on users to governments as soon as it's more profitable.
I just bought my first apple phone and it's giving me Gawddamn headaches!! I can't even navigate without tapping on something that will take me to that somewhat exact previous page.. Just laid out differently and with more settings.. It's like a rabbit hole that never ends.
I felt that way too when I was in middle and high school. I was only using the LG slidey phones. It feels very fun to text cause it was a very cool keyboard. Man, I miss those.
Bruv Nokia's are legends, they name itself has existed since the 19th century and the phones themselves are legends while the iphones are new age show off phones and most iphone users are egoistic people, Apple products are name mostly, they still deliver something but for their price its pretty bad.
The year is almost 2024, and there is STILL a market for Nokia phones. I follow several IT and technology message boards and just yesterday someone was posting about how happy they were that they have the good old indestructible Nokia brick in this day and age. EXCELLENT battery life, durable, and extremely easy and simple to use. Just dont expect to play flappy bird on it unless you want to program it yourself.
My old cheapass Nokia was broken beyond repair, after 4-5 years of usage. I dropped that sonofabitch face flat down, on the corner, on the back, you name it, never cracked, no nothing. It was the broken power button that was the last straw. I scoured for another cheap but an upgrade to my old Nokia. Some Samsungs, some Sonys, a few Chinese brands came up. But ultimately I chose a Nokia again, $130. And man, I do not have any regrets. Right from the box opening, it came with a screen already protected, a free case, and wired earphones. Because the phone comes with a 3.5mm jack. Can you believe that? In 2024? I love it. Love Nokia.
The first time i saw a video of you, you were repairing a keyboard by changing a single capacitor... I though you were an Apple Fanatic! Now i love you :D This is a true bromance!
Recently lost my AppleID password for my old iPhoneX and submitted a password request. Was told to wait 17 days (yes 17 days) on top of initial 24 hour "evaluation" period. After I recovered the password, I sold the phone asap and reverted to my beloved Samsung galaxy Note 10+. Android is still the best.
Apple keep bitching to me on my email about my account being dead inactive whatever they say it's happening including it's been hacked and yet still I just read that shit and delete it cause I could care less and it's just easier that way to not try and fuck around for two years trying to figure out they are wasting my time with something I do not need or care about
You lost your Appleid password and the passcode otherwise you could have reset it under settings > your name>password. Apple is all about security this is supposed to be a good thing , obviously if you’re dumb enough to forget a passcode AND your Apple ID password OF COURSE the process to verify that you’re the account holder will take some time
@@OG_Gyekye there's um just one problem with your advise one I don't nore have I ever owned an apple product there for I have never registered with apple so what info would I use to recover an account with apple that I have never used forget about a password I never made and focus on the I never made an account to access in the first place it just shows how much on drugs apple is must be a new tactic for apple to gain customers through scamming emails like that how the mighty have fallen
I was a field repair specialist for a computer repair department for ODU in the late 1980s to early 1992. We had a saying, "Apple, the power of punitive pricing." Example: There was a software package for ray tracing and animation on the Commodore Amiga computers, which the owners ported to Apple Mac. On the Amiga it was 25 or so dollars, when it went Mac it was 2400 dollars. Now I admit the exact prices I've forgotten, but I will never forget that an affordable software program suddenly went out of reach to all of its users when it stopped supporting Amiga and began supporting Mac.
I don't think so. Mac OS allows you to do things with terminal, whilst windows treats you like an idiot. The only apple product i found out to be actually kinda alright is mac os, at least before big sur versions of it. Despite some internal flaws and some outdated design it does really well. Meantime windows 10 is a mess. I'm using windows machines since 2000 and i know what am i talking about. Windows is a creation of Victor Frankenstein, the monstrosity with thousands pieces of different bodies glued and stitched together and somehow is able to operate. You can easily find like 5 different context window designs inside of windows 10. Rudimental parts of long time passed time. And windows trying to hide those behind numerous menus to prevent some stupid person to change settings this user don't understand. It is not for admins, mate.
@caps lock I love Windows, but the windows 98 task manager needs an update, and speaking of updates, Windows updates mean nothing, and don't get me started on "cortana". The difference between me and an apple user is that I have an actual compatible GPU in my $1,500 computer. (love the Legion 7, get it on a discount)
It's all about restricting what the user can do, not providing them with freedom. That's the core of Apple products. They literally change your mindset so you don't "want" to do things you were able to do before.
Root? If you root a device you can do anything you like. Yeah. No kidding. But you're talking about stuff that on android you could already do without having to root anything...
@Jesse Berryere well, he is the embodiment of an Apple fanboy. "you don't know shit, not even if you saw it with your own eyes. apple is not selling shit", even though like the video said, they sold macbooks with no fking ventilation Edit: He should learn about the mind share concept.
What you get with Apple products is that you actually are trapped in the Apple dictatorship and trust me in terms of technological innovations Apple will always be behind the competition by 5 years
Getting an MP3 file onto the ipod or iphone is even worse, because it needs to fit a specific format. Meaning some MP3 won't work, and some will. No kidding, I had to convert "MP3s to MP3s" to play them on an iphone, while I could easily play them on any other device.
Dennis Premoli Reminds me of a South Episode about the Terms and Conditions update, and a Japanese man saying: "I should have never installed Ityyyyyyynes" xD
*I absolutely hate ITunes. It's stupid and clunky and absolutely not user friendly!* Back in the day I had an ipod for about a year or so. Every single time I went to update its library, I had to google info on how to fucking use itunes because it is the most baffling software ever made that didn't come from adobe.
Yes i did. Mostly som points on how bad iPhone was in the early days - in those days when there was no similar phone from anyone else. Also some remarks on Apple ecosystem. But i respect his view - he is obviously a tech guy and look at things different than the average user.
+GameCode blackberry wants a word with you, apple didn't invent the smartphone, not even close. The three things apple pioneered for smartphones are multi-touch (which is technologically impressive, but as an owner of an android with multi-touch I've never used it, not to mention that apple didn't invent the technology simply stick it on a smartphone) marketing and lies. they pushed a massive marketing budget on the iphone and claimed they were the first to do something that had existed since the nineties. which is actually a great summary of my thoughts on apple, marketing and lies.
hornylink There was smartphones when Apple launched the iPhone --- but nothing that came even close to what a iPhone was capable of. I had a Blackberry when iPhone came out. iPhone ment a paradigm shift. Android is fine - not just for phones. I am a developer and from time to time i do Android stuff. But in many ways Android is just behind IOS. And i can not see any change in a near future. iPhone is a product that really changed the world.
iPhone user for 10 years, but recently changed to the Galaxy Note 9 Android. The Samsung is twice the build quality of the iPhone and Android is awesome. With Android I have complete control of how my phone operates and is styled. My wife is still on iPhone and is so impressed with Android that she is changing also. Never an Apple user again.
We've switched the other way. Even after I switched my wife was sticking to Android and swore she'd never use an iPhone. Until her Android phone died and I lent her my iPhone to use while we got her a new Android phone, because she needed a phone more than me. After using it for a bit she then decided she would rather use the iPhone and has stated she intends to get another one when the current one reaches the end of its life.
@@ian1352 not to be rude but having an iphone is a joke, unless u want to show off infront of others, though i dont know why people pay 1000$ when you can buy a oneplus 6 for half of that and have better performance and equivalent camera and a better screen and a lot more useability
Arianna Euryale, the requirement to find a workaround to something that is basic function on every other product in existence is asinine. If you want to make such claims to other people's character and intelligence, that's great; how about you stop hiding behind the Google+ setting that prevents people from being able to directly reply to you? I'm guessing you're too incompetent to understand how an online forum works. I probably would never work for you, minimum wage internships for ego-maniacal music producers is a been there done that kinda thing here.
Louis Rossmann I was thinking about this same thing last night except the other way round(why I use iPhone instead of Android): Android and iOS are different to start with; neither is exactly like I would want them to be. With Android you can tinker so it works the way you want it to work, on iOS you can't do that. BUT for me it is faster and less frustrating to learn a new way to do things on iOS than changing Android to work like I want it to.
jonespumppu but when apple goes the way of the nokia, blackberry etc. you will have to learn something else again. Plus workarounds drive me crazy eventually. On my phone i will put up with stupid ways to do something 3 or 4 times, after that i obviously use the feature more often than i thought or than i used to and it starts bugging me. At that point i customize it and it's that way i like it forever. Seems like a better solution then learning to live with it imho. A new phone takes a day or 2 of use to eventually install and setup everything the way it was on the old one and you'r good to go without being forced to do things in a way that doesn't and never will feel natural to you for 2 or 3 years. But if you ever decide to go with android, please please buy a phone with vanilla android. Or a phone with good custom rom support. Samsung and htc's "version" of android are horrible. If i had to live with that i would also rather have an iphone. I think thats the biggest problem iphone users have with android. Most probably only ever had a stock samsung in their hands, no wonder they had a bad experience. But in reality it really is samsung that ruins the product with all their cpu hungry crap you can't turn off or uninstall etc. I have a oneplus and it really is no comparison to bigbrand android phones. Easilly the best phone i ever had. And also cheap as chips.
roger supernova I actually like my iPhone I have windows computers but ios iPhone was easy to get to know and star using I like how easy it is to use and set up I used a friends android phone it took me 2 hours to figure out how to get to text messages and contacts I also kept locking the screen and closing apps that I was trying to use it got frustrated ive had and iPhone since the first one came out I love them only phone ill use so fair other then the poor battery life I'm perfectly happy with it I like mac computers but for me windows is easier to use and I can get a windows computer with better specs then a mac.
SuperJeremi10 they are quite different, a android user has the same problems when using an iphone the first time. It's what you are use to. I can get used to things that don't feel right if it's the only option, but it wont stop anoying me. For desktop there still really isn't a proper OS after all these years. Windows has become a stinking pile of bugpatches and with 10 an even bigger invasion of privacy then google allready is. Osx really isn't my thing and linux has it's own set of problems, especially on the gaming front. It's time that one of the major distros stepped up to the plate or a new player entered the market. Now is the chance as the desktop/laptop market is becoming a niche market anyway, so microsoft will focus it's development elsewhere leaving a gap behind.
Back when touch screen smarphones were new and apple was leading the way I would see someone using an iPhone and say - that is cool. That is a great idea. Nowadays whenever I actually use an iPhone myself I just cannot understand how the users just accept the limitations. Apple stopped offering innovation for the regular user a long time ago.
What am I missing out on by using an iPhone 6S? What amazing features am I missing that could be life changing that your phone has? I'll grab the popcorn.
Sean You are missing out on an open source operating system. A jail broken iPhone is severely limited in comparison to a rooted Android device. How does this not answer your question?
I'm gonna quote Linus here because his quote is correct. "My whole thing with Apple is that so much of their marketing in the past has been around selling what people wanna be and selling what people wanna do versus what they are and what they can do. So like an Apple commercial is full of like, all the amazing like, videos that you create. When the reality of it is the very small subset of the population that creates any kind of video that anyone anywhere would wanna watch." That's the main problem with Apple is that they limit you to what you can do. It just works. I feel like I'm being held back more by my iPhone 6 which I still can't get rid of until June because of my contract than I did with my like $20 prepaid Walmart phone.
IDK if I want to post it here because Louis might get mad if I post the link to someone else's video on his. The video is their WAN show from October 28th, 2016. Skip to the part where they talk about the Macbook Pro
I love this video. I'm a tech myself and I've been saying this since 2000. Apple is the Ford of electronics. They can give you a better product at a lower price, but why should they when people rush out to overpay. Even the low end companies give you these qualities in their base products. The best part of this are all the dislikes. Apple lovers, the truth hurts!
@Business Momo Not every Android Phone exterior is made out of cheap plastic okay. Most Android phones use Good quality plastic and metal on their exteriors.
+Sebbie Shaw on the browser just press and hold your finger for 2 sec select the area you want to copy then again press and hold for 2sec to paste. on youtube facebook Twitter etc you have to download apk i use universal Copy
Colson Xu linuxes is very simular to macs they use the same... uh i wanna say shell? i cant remeber so they are actually v simular which is why they are used alot for programming. and i mean ig its better on windows, but like what do u think is better on windows that macs for file management
@@kevinsanderson4112 I just like the fact that I have more control over my files on Windows. On macOS finder hides the file structure and only shows my stuff like Document, Video. If I want to find something in other places, I have to use the terminal to find them. I just don't like when Apple tells me I have to do certain things their way.
Yarn Cow did you just say that Linux - LINUX - the entirety of Linux and alllllllllllllll it's varying multitude of individual OS's...... Is similar to Apple OS? Whut.
@@thegoodguy2381 how’s the richest man in the world an apple sheep and how’s Marques a celebrity slave? His community is probably the most chill out of RUclips communities.
I dislike Apple products exactly for the same reason. Even I mocked some guys at school who were trying to play a movie from the iPhone storage and they took about 20 minutes to find the file because iTunes wasn't installed. Also, I live in a third world country, so getting the full beautiful ecosystem for the iPhone to work properly (Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, etc.) is kind of a dream in this land. I really don't understand how can users really accept being spoon fed by the technology, without being able to customize something different that their wallpaper. And it isn't about being tech-savy, but it is a way of freedom, you see. Also, it is not that the abstract idea of a file-system is totally away from the general public (many people use windows, at least), so logically this "excellent build quality", "full of innovation", "pride of America" $600 "smartphone" should offer the same. I use Windows because of Office, Linux cause of servers (although getting servers to run on a Mac is just a little effort away) but can iPhone users say the same about their phones?
What am I gonna do with Office on my phone? I use it for youtube, phone calls, email, and texting. That's seriously 99% of my usage. I use my PC, which I built myself, for anything else. The main reason i chose an iphone after many many years stubbornly using dumbphones was mainly because my brothers recommended it. They had android phones for a long time themselves, and then finally decided to try an iphone and totally loved it. Your phone choice is not a personal statement, it's just a phone. Bugger off.
Jonathan Unger blah blah blah, really ? If you want a phone that does these simple tasks, buy a fucking mid-range android and save up some money dumbass.
@@Nuisance_Bear If that's all you want out of your phone...and you're willing to spend the premium pricetag of iPhones JUST for that then yes, it very much is a personal statement about you as a person.
I remember being a teenager trying to get one song off my iPod. My friend and I eventually discovered it after days, but each song's name was converted to a code, meaning I could never find a specific song and had to just download them all and later delete them all except that one song.
I remember those days, especially when you find the songs in weird named folders and the whole library was split it in a bunch of folders, all with weird names.
When I had the iPod Touch 4th gen the first thing I realized was the constant syncs to iTunes. So i have jailbroken it and tried with Apps to get it unsyncable and being a real mp3 to mp4 player just to switch datas back and forth without itunes. Eventually i got it working but was very buggy at last. Just for that. When I looked through the "music folder" I also have seen that Apple decodes or encrypt the mp3 files through iTunes with their Quicktime encoding and it seemed that mp3 files were actually mp4 files. So it will use more battery life by playing a video with sound instead of just playing the sound. Is this still a thing?
My brother wanted to get the music out of an iPod, and asked for my help I knew it would be a fucking nightmare. Sure enough, it was. I helped him as much as I could but in the end I left him to do it himself because of how difficult I knew it would be. It took him a whole day.
The fact that you can't take files off an iPod is intentional. It's that you don't redistribute purchased music.... which is kind of stupid, but it's intentional anyway...
Depends... maybe it's the only way to get record labels to follow you when you start something on your own and want to make it big... I agree that this is stupid, don't get me wrong... I'm just telling that it was intentional and not because they couldn't have made it able to show it's file system...
Again this is because of their business model, they want you to buy music (DRM) ONLY! via their own store. If you could access the hardware via a file manager you could also buy from other legal sources (DRM as well here) and copy on your ipod/iphone. NOOO that's not allowed, you're not allowed free choice with Apple. Don;t buy into their bullshit
Funny how far we’ve gone “ people wait int line to pay 600$ for a iPhone” 2019 “people wait in line to pay 1500$ for a iPhone” And.. this is why I’m leaving Apple..
@adsfafad Idk, maybe it depends where you live, I'm in Canada, phone rate inflation is huge and ridiculous. I don't get top tier premium phones anymore because it just isn't worth it, when I got my most recent device the only phone that was available free of charge on a contract was an iPhone 6, which I had an old cracked one from about 4yrs prior. So you're right, some of it comes down to providers and what they're willing to offer, they're less forgiving with iPhone because they can be. But I don't fault the consumer for having a bad taste in their mouth because of this. I'm not anti-Apple, I was very in love with iPhone for a while and have shifted between iOS and droid since, I'm typing this on a 7yr old Macbook that has been without contest, the best laptop I've ever owned. But I mean, c'mon, it's no secret that Apple is costly and that is a very valid deterrent and even criticism from a consumer viewpoint (the counter argument being resale value, but I digress). They are not as superior as they once were and upgrades since the 6-6S have been... pretty underwhelming in features and design given the increase in price point. I can't stress enough that I'm not against Apple, I love iOS, but I also love droid. It's fluidity and superior nature was once enough to keep me locked to them but the differences with cellular is negligible at this point, you can't say it they don't still produce great devices BUT they are not as ahead of the game as they once were. I can get a non-flagship freshly released device from Samsung that feels no different for a fraction of the cost, that will offer the same amount of years of software support as Apple would if I chose to compromise for an older device with the same monthly rate. Both are great options, but it would be super cool to see Apple drop some genuinely budget friendly new releases, or a marriage of droid-like features on iOS.
@adsfafad That all depends on where you live. My city doesn't offer Verizon; we have Bell, Telus, Rogers, Koodo, Fido, Virgin and I think Chatr... Also Eastlink, but the coverage is awful. Canada also lost Target a few years back and the one that was local to me was only in business for about 2yrs. lol I think that's an important to factor to bare in mind when people express their grievances, it may be circumstantial, but still honest and valid for why they feel the way that they do. Our Walmarts often offer deals, but seldom (if ever) on iPhones. But also, talking flagships Note 10 and S10 are current latest releases, so more comparable to the latest iPhone releases. There's no debate, you can of course get an older iPhone affordably, but that's true for all phones, the difference is Samsung has new budget phones that are affordable off the hop. This can be argued that it's offset by the fact that Apple offers longer software support, which is fair. They're all great options, totally dependent on what's best suitable to individual needs.
@adsfafad bruh the xr is a gen old and then the lower end apple phone with a not so HD screen while a note 10+ is a newer phone premium hence the +.. No wonder its more expensive
These days are gone, forever. I only ever owned Iphone 4 and 5. Had the 5 stolen and switched to a Nokia C1 with 1 year's warranty. It was the warranty... I could have bought a second hand 5 for less than $ 40. No way will people keep buying Ip 11 etc. If Android phone makers come out with a rugged version of the C1, with 8 GB RAM, removable battery and a good camera... Something solid for $ 200? Good bye, high end phones1 Will the manufacturers figure this out? I don't see myself ever buying a new Apple product again, period!
Damn this reminds me of the old days when I used MP3 players and windows media player. It did have a lot of simplicity. There was a learning curve, but once you knew how to do it, it was easy. The whole, “choosing a single song” in an mp3 brought back so Many memories. I remember being disappointed when I couldn’t do that with an iPod touch.
I'm reading the apple forums and these people are concerned about coronavirus delaying their Apple products. And they're mad at people who suggests Apple moving the production to other countries because would increase the cost of their phones. That's what matters to these sheep.
Ikr man they are literal apple nazis. every kind of issue/complaint/critisicm will be handled like its your fault, apple did nothing wrong, apple is the best.
the best part for me is that someone asked in a german apple forum why his microphone is not working anymore someone came and said "its a 2 1/2 years old iphone the microphone gets of course dirty after this time, just buy a new one" like what the fuck? after 2 1/2 years I expect that phone can perform atleast the main task the phone is made for.
@@NomNomNom1989 I use Samsung note 3 for 7 years now and its still works fine. Why are these people think that majority of people is switching phones after 2 years period. I know my circle doesn't switch that fast because it cost money to buy new one and we can actually repair our phone in 3rd party counter.
@@syn_mea this behavior will be our doom tbh. You can see already how far behind they are for example with the GPU and next gen console productions, mainly because precious metals are missing. Why? Because people buy every year a new phone, a new pc, dishwashers and washmachines get thrown away instead of just repairing it. And day after day it will become harder and harder to get these precious metals.
Martin u can on mobile data you just have to go into the date/time settings and manually set the time to next year to download the update then set it back once it’s complete
Crispy Shaman god I want the s10+ so bad I can’t wait to leave ios I got my feet wet with an iPhone se but the water was cold and dirty I’m gonna take a dip in the Samsung jacuzzi as soon as this phone bites the dust (via updates)
The only reason I use a Macbook: UNIX BASED OS. Why I don't use linux?: No well supported and compatible yet, not as OSX. Why I don't use Windows? Because it sucks, but I have to in a virtual box for specific only PC software. Why MAC is better than PC: Operating System. Its personalized system for a specific hardware. (Not generic to many types of hw like Windows) But after all I'm agree with your 2nd reason. It's INDEED overpriced for the hw they sell.
Vilayat Khan as a pen tester I can tell you windows fucking SUCKS my face lights up every time I see it on a network it's just terrible from a security standpoint and windows x that's just a complete shambles privacy wise. trust me unix is the best way to go and Mac OS is the most usable unix like OS
I had an iphone for 3 months and hated every minute of it, as soon as I had a little bit of extra cash I bought a android. I would rather go back to using a Nokia 3310 than to use a iphone again.
There is no Calculator app built into the iPad. Meaning you have to install one from the App Store. Pretty silly for a device meant to be used as a Productivity device.
This guys rant topics are not apple or OS X-problems. These PEBKAC. I switched from ms to os x because of constant changes in basic functions of windows or office-packages in each new version with no added value.
Irrational Man I'm currently on the mac platform all across the board but I do believe this is my last hurrah. The limitations didn't bug me as much when I was younger but these days I need access to better software and hardware management.
lurvig well the thing about windows and android is, they are still buggy, the scrolling can occasionally lag, I know people who have to restart their phone once a month for it to function normally, now this might not be so bothersome for some, but once you get used to how seamless using an apple product is, I personally cannot imagine doing the tradeoff and going back to that kind of environment/ecosystem, Apple does less but it DOES IT, you can't 100% say that about other OS-es
That was exactly my experience : shopping for mp3 players for my daughters, as soon as I saw that owning an iPod required an iTunes account and the iTunes application on my laptop, I immediately returned the devices and got a couple of *MpMans* with which I could drag and drop music files directly onto the drive which appeared in Windows Explorer when plugged in. Also my first go with an iPad wasn't instinctive either - it required me to learn how Apple wanted me to do the simple tasks that I already knew how to do. Apple is like those cheap ads which try to convince you that a simple everyday task is difficult so that you buy their product.
The reasons I, personally claim, that I hate Apple are quite simple and related to MONEY. 1. Disgusting customer abuse, false advertisement and taking advantage of the cult as well as the blindness of Apple Sheep who do not seem to care of anything different than the fact that they have "Apple". 2 . The absurdly high prices of services, devices and everything the brand offers compared to what you really get in value. 3. The fact that it is more of a show off and a fashion trend for 2/3 of the Apple users to boast with a lifestyle of luxury that they often do not even have rather than to use the brand for a real need of certain features.
Holy shit, his reasons for not fucking with apple are literally the exact same as mine. Moving files between my Android phone and PC is completely effortless compared with that iTunes syncing bullshit I had to deal with back when I had a 3gs years ago
You have a USB flash drive right? Plug it into any of your USB ports on your PC and there you go - Much the same as pretty much every Android out there, except having to use a USB cable and allowing the PC to access the phone's contents. Then you know, just drag and drop files without needing any software.
Vojtěch Mach set the device to MTP mode (from the notifications) and make sure the phone is unlocked. Bam. In. You can access the files and do whatever you want. No iTunes. No bullshit.
Morons, idk about that apple shit, but any windows computer connected to the same network as your phone can send to and receive files from your phone, or any other computer, provided you have set up permission. This isn't a new thing either guys...
Back in 2011 I bought shiny new iphone 4 and was really excited to put it to good use. A week later found I found a nice song on sound cloud and wanted to download the mp3 straight onto my iPhone but couldn't. Thought should be simple enough to do, maybe i just need a third party music player but was shit out of luck. So here is what i had to do 1. Jailbreak the Iphone 2. Gain Super user Permission 3. download a third party repository 4. configure the said repository 5. Add links for the depository 6. Download my mp downloader app 7. Download a Third party browser because Safari wouldn't let you download mp3 files 8. Try to download the mp3 file but did not work 9. redo steps 2-7 10. Try again finally worked! OMG I'm so happy now i can finally download music straight onto my phone and play on the iphones native music app 11..Wait WTF!!!!! 12. What in the actual FUCK! Apple Music app doesn't recognize mp3 files i have to download a shitty third party music player just to listen to my one mp3 file 13. Throw the Iphone in the trash where it belongs
I was asked once to download a mp3 to use as ringtone on iphone. Figured it out with helf of google and use of itunes. Although you need a pc for that. Agreed it is convoluted software. A walled garden that doesn't want to work with the rest of the world, but you made it unnecessery hard on yourself.
A while back, I was asked by a friend of mine to put a list of mp3 music in an iPod shuffle. I was using a Precision laptop with Win 7 pro and connected with USB 3, a task which should have been fast and easy. A week later, after spending upwards of 6 or 7 hours with freeware, open source transfer software and even iTunes, the device would not be recognized or accept anything I had to offer and I gave up, feeling quite stupid. I was also tasked with changing some bothersome settings on a iPhone 1. Yet another seemingly easy tasks thwarted by a badly designed and unresponsive interface. Years prior, I had purchased a few unbranded music devices of eastern origin and they worked relatively well. These devices supported video, text, and any audio file of any length if you had the right conversion setup. They would also hold any file you had as they were recognized as a 32gb thumbdrive. They also cost $10, a fraction of the going cost of a Shuffle. Apple products are consumerist garbage; they are not well made, user friendly or well supported, and are in demand solely as a fashion statement. Anyone who would pay such outrageous pricing for an item on the merit of brand and fashion likely didn't deserve the money.
The deal with apple is that the consumers needs configure themselves to their product. Only then the "ease of use" comes to fulfillment. With Android/Windows, consumers configure their products to themselves.
both ways have their benefits and draw backs. Do you want to drive or ride? Do you want someone else to chose for you or do you want to do it your way.
special_K yeah, and many people dont want to spend time doing that. its the whole "buy and forget". Everything is done for you wether you like it or not
"With Android/Windows, consumers configure their products to themselves." That's not true, I configured Windows 10 to my liking, then Windows dropped an update, which I never agreed to installing but it installed anyway. After the update my "configurations" were reset. Said F*** you Microsoft and converted my PC into a Hackintosh. Couldn't be happier.
@@Shanboss277 Wow you really rebutted anything he said and changed people's mind... lmao i have been using the same android device since 2013 and is still perfectly functional and has not been made obsolete by software updates.
A buddy from my time in IT told me his wife wanted a macbook because it was "easy to use", despite the fact she had never touch one before. So he borrows one and lets her try it out, and before the end of the day she was like "I can't use this thing." Most people who claim Apple products are more user friendly have never really used anything else.
I've used every version of Windows. Macs are definitely easier to use, operating system is far better in my opinion (though they keep making it worse with every new release for some reason). It's harder to hack than Windows though, so if you're used to having to hack Windows to get it to work right you won't have those same options with a Mac OS.
I use two macs. Macbook and mac mini for graphic design. Mac mini has dual boot. I use both of systems and they have their advantages. Mac - creative work Windows - ntfs files, games and some technical stuff. Macs aren’t more difficult, they are just different BTW. I really often use terminal and script maker. So I wouldn’ t call myself as an casual user
Maciek Welk being different doesnt equal better. The actual standard is windows based, even unix moved on to something similar. Osx is crap for organization, its "easy" as in SIMPLE, not actually easy to use or learn
Gorky D That’s not true. I use all OS’s and Mac is just as customizable as Windows. You just have to make Terminal your best friend. I would say Windows 10 is actually more restricted than older versions of Windows because you’re not the owner anymore.
Windows used to be really confusing back before windows 7/8. Macs used to be really simple and easy but ever since osx Lion, they just keep adding more and more bloat. I remember when macs ran really well with only 2gb of ram. Now, you need at least 8gb of ram just to IDLE. Fucking idling. I can use a windows 10 machine with only 2gb of ram and it runs pretty decent. Mac osx and ios have become completely bloated pieces of shit. Snow Leopard was the LAST good operating system apple made. Ios 5 was the lst operating system for the iphone that was good. Everything after those are just bloated ram hungry extraneous features. Like who the fuck needs a 3d home screen????
I'm not a "PC Fanboy", but I can't justify spending $2000 plus dollars for an Apple laptop, when I can get a comparative PC laptop for around $600-$900. Now I do a lot of editing photography and I know the tool of choice for pro photographers is a Mac, and Photoshop and Lightroom perform better using Mac, but since it's a hobby and not a living for me, the PC is the best choice for me. I used to work with AMD based computers, but Intel has passed AMD in performance, so I switched over to Intel. If Apple gets out of the past and steps up their game like Intel did, and actually makes their computers affordable, then I might consider them, but for now, I'm like you. I go with what works best for me.
Perry Bailey I know your comment is from 11 months ago but AMD has stepped up their game with the Ryzen series CPUs not to mention they forced Intel to move to 6 cores on i5 instead of 4
I've been against Apple since day one. You had to be in their bubble. Android allowed you to connect the phone to a windows PC and it was pretty much the same as it is today......a memory drive. Apple is and has always been a pain in the ass.
Btw it's english your mother language? Because I think I can also answer on your language bro XD and to be it's funny you mentioned all other technology as a copy, lol xd

K.H. Very true. I've dug around forums in order to customize my MBP and found many useful Terminal commands and Applescripts to make my MBP behave and look the way I want it to.

When you talked about how you decide on what device you use I couldn't keep myself from nodding all the time. We have absolutely the same mindset. The correct device for me is the one that best aligns to what I need and/or want. Since what I want is very often a device with a good price/performance ratio I never ever bought an Apple device in my life. Thank you so much for these videos and the good fight that you're fighting!
Pradhyumna Gupta the tech is actually pretty good, until you realize that they moved it into an iMac form factor and made it impossible to upgrade anything. smh. Who buys an iMac or iMac Pro and need 128GB of ECC memory? why does someone need server grade parts that are meant to be on 24/7? it's ridiculously over priced too, starting at 4999. lol
Clariece C A product is not an iPhone knockoff if it has more and better features, then it's superior. Apple is the one copying others, so iphones are android knockoffs.
It's running android on a patented iPhone design. It's a knockoff. Even Google knows this. This is why the android execs use iPhones. "iphones are android knockoffs." This iKnockoff logic reminds me of a kid who claimed Samsung invented the iPhone....
Apple software unfortunately is designed to be very simple for those who are not familiar with computers. This goes back to Steve Jobs view that computers should be easy to use but that could not be modified easily. Apple products are great for casual users like my parents and it’s Unix underpinnings are much better than Windows, but for power users like myself Linux is the best option. Problem is that I have too much reliance on Adobe products in my profession to completely cut the cord.
Aaron Harris I havent used a linux before. But windows i think needs a ton of improvement. I just think its terrible. Linux ive heard is quite a but better tho. As far as macs, they are definitely more simple on the surface and easier to use and i like that alot. Windows has a ton of unnecessary things that are way to complex. However if u get deeper into macs with the terminal or programming its quite modifiable depending on what ur doing. Like for programming, especially in javascript or html and other languages that are best suited for macs. The terminal makes it so much simpler. I can not speak for linux tho ive heard its good and v good for programming
i agree, back then me and my sister had to use an software named Itools to by pass the Itunes software, and yes, we had to jailbreak our ipod + ipad mini. no apple products at all for some years till now, it's a breeze

Mr. ManDudeGuy uhm, sorry but you look like a teenager, it is proven that it can be dangerous when your body and mind are still developing so you should not smoke weed. For adults it's perfectly healthy and safe though
I remember reading, more than a decade ago now, about a neolithic (as I recall) site where they found a whole bunch of oversized highly decorative hand axes. The stone used was not native to the site, was more difficult to knap and produced an inferior performing tool, but it was distinctive and attractive. I'm not sure why watching this video reminded me of that.
They make Apple devices easier to use for people not familiar with computers and smartphones, at the expense of more advanced tasks being overly complicated and not-user friendly (maybe to avoid people accidentally screwing stuff up?). I tell my family members they're on their own if they buy Apple devices against my advice. Even if you know how to do things on it, it takes way longer than it should. My mother bought an iPad against my advice to get a Chromebook instead and every time it inexplicably stops getting an internet connection or one of the apps doesn't let her log in all of a sudden she blames me instead of Apple. And that brings me to my last point, is a lot of people who use Apple will never blame Apple for the problems they're having, while on Android I see a lot of people blame Google for stuff that isn't even their fault (ie blaming Google for an Android overheating and poor battery life while they have 4-5 battery boost and cleaner apps spamming ads 24/7). This kind of makes this false sense of quality for Apple.
I think that must only happen in US or Western countries. I am from India and I can tell you that the majority here use Android phones and IPhone's are overpriced over here due to taxes. I actually feel sorry for people who try to justify the drawbacks in iPhone. Google's Android works really well for us in this part of the world. The only one's who buy Apple products do it so to show them off.
@@Narium413 It is perhaps and it would be interesting to know why the decision was made not to include it. Then again Android was absolutely horrible in general back in those days, so overall Apple was way ahead of them.
Dont you see what they are doing? They make devices easier to use for ppl not computer savy, therefore creating a computer illiterate following. Edit: i grew up with an ipod and i macs at school and my neighbor best friend had a imac, i cant even figure out how to properly mod minecraft or fallout 4 now.........
I am a computer scientist and I've built multiple windows desktops, owned android phones, and use to hate apple. After making the switch to a Mac Book pro and owning a iPhone I would never go back to android or windows. Everything is just unorganized and buggy on windows and android. I can text/facetime/call from my computer and my phone. I have all my notes and content synced for easy access. I don't need the complexity that comes with android and windows because it provides no additional benefit in functionality. And as a computer scientist I can do everything I need to do so I have no idea why people hate on apple and say it's not functional. It's literally built on linux which is used for commercial servers.
it took me 2 and a half days to figure out how to change the ringtone in an iphone to a custom song... something i have been doing in android in literally minutes, 0 - there is no way to download a custom song that doesn't exist in itunes in an iphone so... 1 - i had to download itunes and create an account 2 - connect the iphone to the pc and wait for it to "synchronize" and copy every single song i have in my pc to the phone even tho i don't want that shit 3 - there in no option to "set as ringtone" 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - Jailbreak the iphone (which is way harder than rooting android) 9 - download from cydia an app that converts the song into a ringtone.. sounds easy but it's not 10 - finally!!! except the ringtone is the first 10 or so seconds of the song which are not the part i want 11 - use audacity to chop the specific 10 secs i want except i done that in my laptop cause i was in vacation 11(still) - Guess what you can only "synchronize" from ONE FUCKING PC 12 - downloaded a 3rd party app that can copy to the iphone by simply Drag+drop 12 - didn't work cause i don't have the right itunes version so i had to wait to get to the main pc 13 - finally i synchronized and got the ringtone to work THIS IS ONLY AN EXAMPLE, IT's LIKE THIS WITH EVERY FUCKING THING YOU TRY TO DO
THIS. Precisely why I will hold on to my Android for dear life, no matter how cheap and busted. No matter how much I actually like OS X. I own mac AND Windows laptop - because it works WELL but has limitations, and less of the apps that I want, like FL + professional editing software. I also tired of the limitations and the stupidity that is the iPad, but detest the probability of failure on Windows. So. Both.
music is big part of my life. and this is exactly why i dont use iphone. I do repair PCs so i am good enough to deal with all that. But why, when i can just simple drop the song to my HTC anytime any where i want. i can even download a mp3 on the fking phone. LUL
They were hoping if they made it frustrating enough you'd give in and buy the ringtone from their store because, despite already owning the song, a "ringtone" is a *completely* different thing to an MP3 and that justifies making your customer pay twice for the same thing.
You can easily create a ringtone in iTunes using whatever song you want and import it into you IPhone. I never sync songs with my iPhone, preferring to manually manage my music. But you have to use iTunes in order to add music not purchased from the iTunes Store including any soundfile you want to use as a ringtone. For example my ringtone is Angel of Death by Slayer which I ripped from CD, edited and made into a ringtone using iTunes. Apple makes you to do everything through their apps.
at 8:00 I literally got a Verizon "get an iphone 11 on us" ad within a second after he said "They don't make an iphone on Verizon!" very interesting timing lol.
Felipe M. My dmg files look sexy Wow !! Fuck off, no matter what Windows still gives the most user friendly experience and this guy’s mom is probably dumb.
A few years ago I bought my first smartphone. An iPhone 4S. Took some pictures. Wanted to put pictures from my family in a folder called"family". Turns out it couldn't move pictures from the default folder to antoher folder !! i mean WTF ??? You can copy pictures into folders, but the original pictures in the default folder have to stay there. If you delete the picture in the default folder, every so called "copy" is gone !! :-/ In other words: an iPhone can't copy pictures ?!?!?!?! How retarded is that ?? I don't know if they did something about it since 1,5 years ago, perhaps in an update of iOS, but up till the last day I used my iPhone, it was not possible! Now I have a Samsung S7 for about 1,5 years and never regretted the switch !
I come back from time to time to just listen to this video, nod and laugh my ass off. This year is slightly different cause I actually had to end up using an iPhone for the 2 months, in the midst of the lockdown, because my Android fell down and cracked. Since repair was not an option, all I had was a iPhone 6S that I borrowed from my brother. This is literally the first time I had to use an iPhone instead of seeing others use. It took less than half an hour for me to hate the entire experience. No matter how much I kept telling myself to be a little flexible and learn the ins and outs, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to do the most basic of things. Texting was harder. Multi-tasking was harder. Installing apps was harder. Everything was unnecessarily convoluted. Like you, Louis, I kept wondering if I was being the idiot here, but I am an above average tech user and have been for the best part of my life. No piece of technology had made me hate it so fast so permanently than iOS did in the two months of lockdown. There was one startling positive from my brief foray into the iOS walled garden of death: I barely touched my phone for days on end, using it only to make calls. I signed into WhatsApp on the web and all my work stuff was on the cloud, thankfully not the Apple cloud. Fuck Apple. Truly.
I have an iPhone 6 and had the 4S before and I have to admit, he has a point. Transferring simple files such as MP3s to and from the phone is a pain in the ass. It should be as simple as connecting the phone to the PC and copying the file over via Windows Explorer, but it's not.

- You remain calm and professional throughout the entirety of the video
- You're willing to accept others' views and that there may be some for which Apple products may work best, going as far as advising them to get one
- You remind us that all the fanboys (of which we see plenty of examples in the comments, from both ends) aren't valuable sources and aren't to be listened to

This video aged like fine wine.

In 2024? I love it. Love Nokia.

10 years later and he's still right
Someone else said it best - "Apple treats you like you're just a user, Android / PC treats you like you're the admin"
You've never used a Android/ PC (Windows I guess) as an admin.
Linux treats you like sudo
(love the Legion 7, get it on a discount)
i don't like windows when it comes to terminal usage
It's all about restricting what the user can do, not providing them with freedom. That's the core of Apple products. They literally change your mindset so you don't "want" to do things you were able to do before.
Root?
If you root a device you can do anything you like. Yeah. No kidding.
But you're talking about stuff that on android you could already do without having to root anything...

I'm gonna quote Linus here because his quote is correct.

Ipods were solid products when it came to Mp3 players, sadly this was one of their bigger faults.
The fact that you can't take files off an iPod is intentional. It's that you don't redistribute purchased music.... which is kind of stupid, but it's intentional anyway...
DRM is stupid then as well? I think the right terms would be right or wrong, but stupid is not relevant.
Depends... maybe it's the only way to get record labels to follow you when you start something on your own and want to make it big... I agree that this is stupid, don't get me wrong... I'm just telling that it was intentional and not because they couldn't have made it able to show it's file system...
Especially when on a Mac you just open the iTunes folder and see all your stuff :) Well...
+Gabriel Androczky it is possible to get it off but only to transfer into another iTunes account
Funny how far we’ve gone “ people wait int line to pay 600$ for a iPhone”
2019 “people wait in line to pay 1500$ for a iPhone”
And.. this is why I’m leaving Apple..
@adsfafad I think he meant because the price has more than doubled while not a ton has changed
Good bye, high end phones1
Will the manufacturers figure this out?
I don't see myself ever buying a new Apple product again, period!
Damn this reminds me of the old days when I used MP3 players and windows media player. It did have a lot of simplicity. There was a learning curve, but once you knew how to do it, it was easy. The whole, “choosing a single song” in an mp3 brought back so
Many memories.

Why? And day after day it will become harder and harder to get these precious metals.

lurvig well the thing about windows and android is, they are still buggy, the scrolling can occasionally lag, I know people who have to restart their phone once a month for it to function normally, now this might not be so bothersome for some, but once you get used to how seamless using an apple product is, I personally cannot imagine doing the tradeoff and going back to that kind of environment/ecosystem, Apple does less but it DOES IT, you can't 100% say that about other OS-es

I hate apple.
@@AMScotty didn’t ask
I can add more but yeah I agree with a lot of what you said.
I have a Pixel 4a and in my opinion it is WAY more value than an iPhone 11 or SE 2.
Holy shit, his reasons for not fucking with apple are literally the exact same as mine. Moving files between my Android phone and PC is completely effortless compared with that iTunes syncing bullshit I had to deal with back when I had a 3gs years ago
completely effortless? please elaborate
You have a USB flash drive right? Plug it into any of your USB ports on your PC and there you go - Much the same as pretty much every Android out there, except having to use a USB cable and allowing the PC to access the phone's contents. Then you know, just drag and drop files without needing any software.
Abdullah Tshabal this was good in 2000, not in 2017, there should be a wireless standart for this

Back in 2011 I bought shiny new iphone 4 and was really excited to put it to good use. 2. Gain Super user Permission
3. download a third party repository
4. configure the said repository
5. Add links for the depository
6. Download my mp downloader app
7. Download a Third party browser because Safari wouldn't let you download mp3 files

SEVEN years later. Still just as relevant, if not more so.

Mac - creative work
Windows - ntfs files, games and some technical stuff.
Macs aren’t more difficult, they are just different
BTW.

Apple is all about gatekeeping.
Copy and paste is pretty fucking basic though.
It's literally built on linux which is used for commercial servers.
it took me 2 and a half days to figure out how to change the ringtone in an iphone to a custom song... something i have been doing in android in literally minutes,
0 - there is no way to download a custom song that doesn't exist in itunes in an iphone so...
1 - i had to download itunes and create an account
2 - connect the iphone to the pc and wait for it to "synchronize" and copy every single song i have in my pc to the phone even tho i don't want that shit
3 - there in no option to "set as ringtone"
4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - Jailbreak the iphone (which is way harder than rooting android)
9 - download from cydia an app that converts the song into a ringtone.. sounds easy but it's not
10 - finally!!! except the ringtone is the first 10 or so seconds of the song which are not the part i want
11 - use audacity to chop the specific 10 secs i want except i done that in my laptop cause i was in vacation
11(still) - Guess what you can only "synchronize" from ONE FUCKING PC
12 - downloaded a 3rd party app that can copy to the iphone by simply Drag+drop
12 - didn't work cause i don't have the right itunes version so i had to wait to get to the main pc
13 - finally i synchronized and got the ringtone to work
THIS IS ONLY AN EXAMPLE, IT's LIKE THIS WITH EVERY FUCKING THING YOU TRY TO DO
Apple makes you to do everything through their apps.
you can just get Zedge ringtones app from the app store and then load it on iTunes on the computer.
at 8:00 I literally got a Verizon "get an iphone 11 on us" ad within a second after he said "They don't make an iphone on Verizon!" very interesting timing lol.
The content of this video is still valid in 2018
#OKAPPLE
No its not at all. Where are you getting your info on iPhones?
Probably more so given how the quality of Apple products seems to go down each year.
This video came out before the man spreading movement......
You have to sit like that as the legs provide greater stability to avoid shaky hands when soldering :)
Actually he's naming problems people had 10 years ago and he's still keeping away from Apple because of that. Seems a bit immature.
my mom got a macbook and it made me happy. It never gets messed up which saves me a lot of time lol
Felipe M. My dmg files look sexy
Wow !!
Fuck off, no matter what Windows still gives the most user friendly experience and this guy’s mom is probably dumb.
Random Guy definite nope on user friendliness. Do you mean because candy crush comes pre-installed on windows10? ;)
@@chrisdistant9040ok I lost. Use whatever OS that we like lol no ones forcing this to us like religion or something.
In other words: an iPhone can't copy pictures ?!?!?!?!
