Ahhh...showing the good bits, not the 2am decamp in the rain or some power hungry cpl bitching at you for no reason or waking up under your bivvy with 6 inches of snow around, freezing your arse off on the side of a brecon mountain, knowing full well you have to TAB 10 miles with your kit and a GPMG only to be told theres a problem at the range so no shooting and theres only a cup of luke warm tea which tastes like dish water for your troubles......fuck i miss it!

Not at all Alexander. Many of the soldiers in 4 LANCS have front line operational experience in Iraq & Afghanistan. They also answered the call during the pandemic, Cumbria floods and on Short Term Training Team (STTTs) deployments to various African Nations in support of our national defence. Not only are 4 LANCS routinely deployed, they are one of the most deployed battalions in the Army Reserve. Thank you for your comment, however it is quite inaccurate and disrespectful to the soldiers who regularly deploy.
