My wife is always traumatized by nature shows where cute animals die. She hears me watching this from the other room. "What the hell are you watching!?" she says and promptly walks in to see what terrible thing I'm witnessing. She sees Kevin James in a bear suit. I think the rotation of the Earth reversed from the force of her eyes rolling.

Yeah, in my area they reproducing at a furious pace. Some nights during mating season you can hear them in the nearby woods. The males make a whiney whimpering noise, and the females do a lot of growling and barking. Very annoying on a quiet night when you want to sleep with the windows open. And the worst part is the repeatedly leave huge steaming dumps on our back patio. It smells like rotten eges soaked in sewage.

He’s just doing it to be goofy and funny. He may break even or make a profit at some point, but I imagine the up front costs are high on each of these.

Don't have to be rich for this, just need 3 or 4 talented people working together with ok equipment. Hell, I had to make the majority of them solo and they came out looking great, just gotta teach yourself editing and vfx. (The cameras and equipment aren't even that expensive if you think about it)
