Maybe it was a last minute wardrobe change like how in Infinite's 'The Eye' Hoya is the only one wearing white shoes when they were filming outside because the soles of his blacks shoes were too slippery. But if it was a last minute wardrobe change, the stylist should have had a backup outfit that was in red and didn't have a pattern

from a fashion standpoint, it's just a composition thing. There are five red dress. One needs to be solid red, others flowy red, textured red, etc. the plaid is kinda balance out the whole aesthetic
katon alphatoda I can get behind that... but they couldn't have given her a more flattering cut. That ish was #Frumpy. All the cute plaid styles they could've done and they put my girl in a balloon with tights. 😔

After Russian Roulette and Rookie I think they started to separate their Red concepts from their Velvet concepts again. The tracks in Red Summer veered towards the red side and Perfect Velvet was definitely more R&B to me.
Even Rookie itself is more Pure Red song than Red+Velvet. But the whole Rookie album is Red+Velvet.
To me Russian Roulette and Rookie are both red concepts at least musically.
I remembered when Peek-a-Boo first came out and Umu said she's gonna put it in their to-react list and I checked that the date'll be in March 2018 and I was like, how am I going to survive another 4 months and today it's out and I'm like, hey, I survived. (^_^'')

Another thing to be taken into account for the vowels is they are not native English speakers. The Korean language is not related to the romantic or Germanic languages so the vowel pronunciation could just be a by product of their Korean accents.
Edit: also I’m aware that good technique is the real issue that Gwen and Hugo were talking about. I just think the Korean language itself should be taken into account as well 😊
speaking of techniques tho, i wonder why they did not point it out to other groups (tbh rv, in terms of technique, isn't that bad, compared to that other girl group whose main vocal's technique is so mehhhhhh)
Kara Zor-el true. I also think that sometimes singers will sacrifice technique for a certain vocal aesthetic. It’s just hard to tell when it’s intentional or if the person just has poor technique
@@karazor-el6440 rv seems to be one of the few major groups that tend to process the voice to make it still feel like actual singing. Some of the groups really have a ton of auto-tuning. Other techniques are involved like just compressing the whole track to safely dump effects on somi's voice to make her sound more interesting in "whatta man"

yes! I've been looking forward to this. Umu, if you're open to branching out like you did with Park Hyoshin, I think everyone, especially Hugo and Gwen, would lose their shit over So Hyang's "Arirang Alone." It's an orchestrated variation on the traditional Korean folk song and it's magnificent!

I guess you can kind of guess personalities depending on what instrument they play. I've noticed a few things, like for example, Piano people are usually very contempt, even tho they DO say when something it's not to their taste, they usually like most of it. And singers are so so demanding? Like their taste is so picky, kinda.
