- It took 8 months of running and over 1000+ attempts to get this time and yet it still has a lot of room for improvement. Throughout that time Dragonbane0 [ / @hamers61 ] , 小指_つ子 [ / koyubi_tsumeko ] and I found a copious amount of new strats and routes that took the time form the previous record of 4h 33m 27s to the time of 3:44:41.
At the time of this attempt I was so sick of running though Early Game it became an unbearable task that I couldn't handle anymore. This combined with the wrist pain the game was giving me I knew it was time to stop.
The Any% category can be pushed down the to low 3:40 to high 3:30 with current strats but I will not be the one who does it.

After you grind a game for a while you'll notice every small thing that loses time that's difficult to get back. It's understandably frustrating.

This game recently went up for free on Epic Games launcher so I got it. I've not been able to get it to log in so haven't seen any of the stuff you should get from being online (other peoples ladders, ropes). While playing I was wondering how the speed runs of this game was looking, and if the best runs were relying on great placement of things for routes to make things faster. Seemed a reasonable enough guess but nope. It's basically flight. I watched as far as I had gotten in the game which is the Central region. I've been working on the Preppers so haven't progressed to the next disto center yet. I'll come back check the rest of this out once I've y'know beaten it myself :D

I'll tell you how to upload next time. Encode the video as 1080p. Then, YT will raise the bandwidth limit for it and you'll get good 720p footage.
Many youtubers upload a "4k" file, but it's actually just 1080p upscaled to 4k. It makes a huge difference though, since 1080p only goes to 6mbps, while 4k is allowed 24mbps. (many times, you'll see 4k60fps videos that are just 30fps frame doubles vids, in order to preserve quality. It's very common)

its cool as hell, but for someone seeing it for the first time, it would be nice to see whats being done explained. it seem like a lot of runner in games dont explain stuff for new viewers. its why i like GDQ runs cuz they do. so as cool as this was, it woulda been cooler to hear how he was doing it as well. or how he discovered certain things
The problem for that there is no way to know if this is going to be the wr. So it's a bit tiring explaining every single attempt
@@siriadias4020 true. plus having to explain every trick every single time you run, would drive you insane. i think the only way would maybe be, if yu do get a WR, make a voiceover for that ADR for that vid. but the the thing with that is, if you get WR more than once, would you voiceover every time you get it?

If you're playing on PC then it wont work. The only way you can do it is if you have it on Console and dont update the game. It got patched out around 1.08.

there's a lot of cutscenes but at least it aint as bad as Miles Morales, my god. even just doing it under 3 hours for platinum, let alone people that speedrun that, its awful. like back in the day we would grind gameplay and get cutscenes as a reward, miles morales was grinding cutscenes to get snippets of gameplay.i swear i felt like i only did twenty minutes of gameplay, the rest was waiting for unskippable scenes. there were only like two bits you could skip. one when his friend comes over for dinner, and one when they both break into the mirror light door thing, and thats it. its so bad. so im thankful this game has skippable cutscenes. cuz forcing players to watch scenes on a second playthrough that they already saw the first time round is pretty fvcked up ngl.

Fly glitch, or the “Norman Peedis” cannot be done on PC or the current Console Patch. In order to do this you need to play on the first patch on console. Meaning you need a hard copy of the game as the digital copies are automatically updated.

@Kevbot43 for u're next try, don't forget to go in system>option>odradek detection anim off for the "stranded" or "bt's" i don't know how u tell them in eng.
u can save 5 or 6 second per anim with that

FYI the English VA for Fragile is the actress Léa Seydoux. It is her only game VA but she has a film acting career and has been in over 40 movies, as female lead in many. She is highly rated. I don't see why anyone would say she was bad in this, the character is quite well defined, what else would you expect?

Spamming a different animation + double jump. The first animation interupts it somehow and makes you fly.

Its so weird how our brains fill in the gaps with things we see. Watching this game on RUclips makes the close up things look amazing because its slightly lower quality and hides the imperfections lol. Still, I would love to see this game remastered with UE5.
