there actually were some things i missed! please keep in mind that community has to do stuff like repairing the streets. Also it would be nice to know how to get better blueprints (like blood grenade lvl.2) thanks!
Why am I getting likes for signs when I log in when I haven’t put up any signs yet? It said Someone gave me 11 likes for a Sign but I haven’t even used that feature yet.
Off the top of my head I can think of a few more things that might be worth a mention. 1) If you look behind you when seated in a private room you can see past cut scenes 2) You can change the colour of your hat while in the private room too 3) If You stare at Norman's crotch while seated in the private room he will flip you a bird. 4) If you find abandoned undelivered deliveries (from other players) rather than deliver them you can take them out and hand them back in the same place and still get lots of likes.
I haven't seen any one comment on this so here's my help: When fighting bts mini bosses and you have ran out of hematic grenades or blood bags, you can press the touchpad button to call out to nearby players and a white bt version of them will throw blood bags and grenades and cheer you on while you fight the monster. This has saved me alot
Was wondering what caused those guys to pop out, it seemed random. Thanks for the tip. I know they've saved my ass a few times already so this is super useful.
Wish I had known that when fighting a BT near Windfarm. Now there's no forest no more at Windfarm. Only a huge crater and one of my cargos lost. Thanks anyway. For future encounters at least XD
@@RM-el3gw were you maybe near death? Cause that's the only other time thats happened to me. I still like the idea that you are never truly alone when fighting the catchers.
Found out another one, once when you get the weather forecast in your cuff links, you can rob Mule camp Postboxes when it rains, as all the mules take shelter during the rain and don't chase you, just look at you from far like idiots while you empty their postboxes
I personally love to take out mule camps before I make a delivery. Once I beat em I take a truck and take their resources and build roads so other players will benefit.
join the club im a still @ episode 3 and love using my level three long range truck to collect my bank haul from the mules for road building .ez pz free metal free ceramics and special alloy on that third mule area ...kek
Bruh, you da real MVP for helping to build those sweet ass paved roads! 😤💪🏼🎮 Keep up the good work, Porter! The United Cities of America are counting on you! 🤩😉 lol Seriously though, I SO appreciate seeing how other players have clearly came through the same paths before I have, and made advancements here & there, because often times they benefit me, and it only strengthens my own resolve to continue to help others. ☺️❤️📦
Jovi Lee brrruuu I ligit do this to it makes everything easier but I starting to get annoyed cuz I never have enough of one thing after I make like the biggest trip ever😂😂😂😂
@@THANE_MITHRA Yup, just like me. As soon as I arrived on this map I rushed the road construction. I don't regret btw, they're SOOOO helpful and it helps the community, so everybody wins. Speaking of which, I noticed something: Obviously I couldn't finish all the roads in one go and when I left the game and came back the next day, some peoples contributed to the work, however, I realized that most of the roads were built at exactly 5o% (so, say for example you need 5ooo metal, exactly 25oo remained to be added). So, I wonder if there is a cap on how much the community can advance the work for other players. What I mean is that, I think for all the road I built 1oo% alone, they may appear finished at 5o% only in other "worlds".
@@GenLiu I feel like that just happened to be coincidence for you. Lots of times, roads have already been built and added before I got to add any materials, and they were already complete lol
I find that tip quite... odd. considering if you try to piss on the mules Sam's like "ugh, no one wants to see that." But now I know I can throw piss bombs at them! yeesss!
1. Ladders can not only be used to access high and low places or cross over water, but can also be used underwater to create a bridge over impassible red water turning it into passable yellow or blue water. 2. Walking repeatedly over terrain makes trails. A trail can be made with as few as one or two passes, so if you are making a return trip, it's a good idea to aim for the same spot. Trails can actually remove or difficult yellow terrain and turn it into paths that are indicated by blue circles. You can see where you and others have passed recently with the odradek scanner, which shows footprints, making it easier to create these trails. Each recent pass creates a larger and larger dirt road, making future passage for both yourself and others easier. You even get likes from others using your trails. 3. Roads you build or contribute to are great ways to get likes. Each road that is built in someone's world has segments in them that give the players who contributed to them likes when you move over the free power zone. If you contributed more, you get more segments and therefore more likes. Gotta get that 'likecin' You can see who helped build your road buy using the odradek on the power strip, causing names to show up like signs. Edit 1: 4. You can jump using X with both the bike and also the truck. 5. I haven't tested this, only seen it in passing so it needs confirmation, but (confirmed) the mule trucks can't carry as much cargo as the bridges trucks, (unconfirmed) but they do have 6 seats in the back that can be used to transport up to 6 corpses. In case you had a series of unfortunate 'accidents'. 6. Regions inhabited by hostile humans are usually surrounded by orange 'posts'. When you pass between them, the hostiles are alerted by a pulse, and they will then 'ping' in your direction with their own odradek. This is useful to know so you can prepare to nullify their scan with one of your own (unlocked at timefall) or to know where to avoid. Also, MULES only scan for cargo, so no cargo: no problem. 7. The stamina bar begins to become grey indicating that you need to rest at a safe house to restore it. This actually only happens when you fully deplete/run your stamina low, so if you are careful and keep an eye on your stamina, you can keep the maximum higher for longer. Edit 2: 8. Both lore and mechanics info: I've seen a lot of people misinterpret how BTs are made, what happens to corpses and what causes a voidout: a) BTs are made when a person dies and their corpse is left to turn into tar. Corpses decaying like this don't actually directly cause voidouts. b) BTs drag the living towards the nearest Collector, which are the boss creatures that you fight. c) A 'voidout' occurs when a BT 'collector' consumes a living human. This is why in the opening cutscene Igor does what he does. You can actually trigger a 'voidout' in game when sam gets hit with a special grab attack by a collector (instant kill). This leaves a huge crater that (reportedly) goes away eventually (thanks timefall) 9. Stun grenades can be great ways to take out an entire vehicle of enemies. 2x stun grenades in a row is normally a full KO and not just a stun.
I know it's horrible and morbid, and I probably wouldn't try it in game, but I've often wondered . . . can you knock out a MULE, throw them into the back of the truck, take them to the incinerator, and burn them alive? And if so, what does that do to the MULE community? Do they switch to being terrorists sooner, or do they start running from you whenever you show up in their territory?
John Doe Corpses also cause void outs, it’s not just when a collector eats a living human. Sam causes small void outs than others because he’s a Repatriot.
I'm not 100% on this, but I actually believe I've seen a pattern in the urine markers. For those who don't know, peeing in the world creates those mushroom things for people to Like or pee on to contribute to the mushroom pile. However, enough collective peeing from the Death Stranding playerbase appears to actually turn the mushroom patch into a Cryptobiote spawning patch, which is really handy seeing as you can never have enough Cryptobiotes. Contribute your pee for the greater good, people!
I do agree. However, as with all things good there are the bad. In this case the bad are the 'spammers' who plague the roads and distro centres with a cataclysmic amount of neon signs just you'll drive through them to get more likes. I'm a very generous liker but I'm not keen on the spam!
@@LowrieMusic even worse are people who leave vehicles in preppers doorways, so annoying! Although I admire the hustle of the one guy who got a truck all the way to heart man
I was always curious but avoided this game because everyone called it a “walking mailman simulator” but I finally gave it a chance. I can’t put this game down it’s so addicting.
I agree, I felt like this in the beginning especially as a huge Kojima fan from back in MGS1. I can't put the game down at all, and the game mechanics are some of the most creative I've seen in a game before.
Tip: If you "alert" a BT and they start walking to you, just hold your breath and STAY STILL, and they will NOT find/grab you even if they are inches away from you.
For real? Need to try this. Although i usually let them get me to fast kill big monster and get free acces to the area. Found it much faster and easier way to get thru some areas
@@inya3342 Yeah, I usually like to fight the BT boss to clear the area as well. But on hard mode in some areas it only clears the area for a measly 5 min. Like at the wind farm.
Michael Wasko on normal they come back as soon as you leave the area. The amount of times I have ran over to collect something near a BT area after clearing and go just have it come back.
When you get oxygen mask it makes it unnecessary to hold your breath, it's a closed system, BTs will not notice you if you wear it sneaking around them. Makes it easier to get close to cut the umbilical cords.
@@neatznotso7424 from the paleonthologist, he gives you one to get lost items from a hole with deadly gases, heartman gives u an order to deliver him an antimatter bomb in the miuntains.
@@Deathninja5551 Only heard about using the mask to hide from BTs today so I'm thinking it probably just makes breathing quieter in general. There is literally a hole on the bottom of the mask that you cover up when you hold breath
If you Go in the map, and hit R3 once, you can see wich parts of It belong to the UCA and wich don't, makes it easier to find secondary bunkers, and if you find the musician on the first map and make a delivery for him, he will give you a harmonica, wich you can play for BB when you're resting.
1. I can't find enough info on BTs respawn, so this tip will need some testing - if you kill them one by one instead of killing the boss, they will not respawn in the area at all. You probably miss a few, but if they are not at the path you go through they won't catch you. I cleared area in episode 3, right now I am at episode 7 and it's still cleared. 2. MULE and therorist camps respawn after you rest in your room, or after unspecified amount of time, but it seems like at least an hour. 3. Traveling through the same place over and over creates a dirt road (even in snow), but only after you finish a delivery. It seems that even some small dark rocks will dissapear (road to director) wen you drive over them. Trucks create roads way faster than bikes or on foot. 4. Up until now I was able to travel by truck to every delivery location, or very near them (20m). That made those 500kg contracts almost easy. For example, you can get to the elder from the Junk Dealer. 5. The elder man will die in his shelter and you will see a hologram of a BT for a sec. Don't know the conditions, but I had 5 stars with him and I wasn't delivering to him for quite a while. You still get more orders from him though. 6. If you deliver a beer from Timefall Farm, you will have the beer in your room instead of energy drink, but if you drink more then three you'll have Monster back. 7. One of the secret scenes in your room has something to do with the mirror. 8. If there is junk next to Junk Dealer shelter, go and throw it into the lake. It reduces the amount of timefall in the area. 9. Get chiral crystals (and other materials) from delivery terminals, there is plenty to take. 10. If you travel on a highway, scan around and give likes, there's a lot of rest points along the way that need your likes. 11. Get all preppers to 5 stars as soon as possible, some of them will be giving you items that can't be created any other way, like chiral boots, chiral lader, or stronger hematic granade. 12. If you park your vehicle on a elevator, you can deliver packages from/to the vehicle via a terminal. Similarly, if you park your vehicle very close to any prepper's shelter you can do the same thing. 13. Also, if you go to your room while the vehicle is on the elevator, it goes down with you, and up when you leave, while all the cargo that was loaded on the vehicle remains on the vehicle. 14. After you finish an episode form the past, you can replay it from your room. Check out the green figurines behind Sam. 15. Sam walks even slower with grenade ready to be thrown. Combined with crouching you can walk around BTs being almost undetectable. Cut their cord and if you miss, release the already ready grenade.
i tried doing this but it was at the part close to the end (not going to spoil it so lets just say it would make sense that they keep respawning here) but I couldn't tell if this worked. they just kept coming back. maybe it works everywhere else though?
Yep lines much faster especially to get to mount parts of map. But you will never get as much packages on lines as you can get with truck and road. So i ended up to use roads everywhere i can freely drive. And use lines only where its hard to get. By placing starting line near the road. So i can jump almost from truck to place where i need to go and back. Plus i found out that its hard to place lines everywhere you need because there is a cap on how many structures you can build. I have how 21k cap and i used alosmt all 21k on lines. Even thou i use it with roads. PS sry for my english
@@er9875 firstly, it's much much cheaper so you can cover way more distance on the same resources. Next, you choose where the zipline goes, roads are predefined and often go away from useful locations. Roads beat ziplines if you want to transport more than you can carry.
If you're short on chiralium, check these locations: 1) Incinerator West of Lake Knot City has tons of chiralium in the backyard which apparently respawns, so check on it from time to time 2) There're chiralium stashes like those left behind by BT bosses along the tar shore - take a walk on the beach near the Timefall Farm and north of Peter Englert's shelter
What I found is that carrying a pcc around and when I get into bt zones I deploy it with a post box unload all my cargo into private locker and then go fight the bt boss once defeated I then just go back and collect without ruining my cargo
no need to do that later in the game tho. dont know how far you are so i dont wanna spoil a thing but trust me. later in the game this will waste more time then it will save
@@t0x1ccandy91 It depends. If you're fully loaded with cargo you cannot move easily to dodge attacks as you are pretty damn slow. Unloading before fighting is a good move IMO unless you can reliably fight/kill the boss without having to move/dodge.
Zrayel no what I am saying is build postbox and unload your stuff into the private locker and you will effectively be at liek 20 kg with no movement problems at alk
Now thats acutally useful tip. Not like most of the comments that tell you something the game explicitly explains and they pretend like they are geniuses.
Same, Lost two trucks and 1 bike (seriously, that area between distro center near elder and South Knot SUCKS.. and no way getting out a truck. bike in 1 rare area (by collector) can be extracted) due to thinking I know how/when to jump to clear the gap.
I haven't driven into a chasm yet, but I did accidentally run into an easily avoidable one between distro South of lake knot and Junker... Not one of my proudest moments Edit: I was running from MULEs and I was looking behind me at them, didn't see the gap
Please let everyone know that they need to read collector's mails in order to get the backpack cover. If you just keep doing the order you will run out of retrieve order and will not get the cover.
I got this cover but its good only for 3 L size packages or 6 s size. So its pretty useless especially if you use truck. I was really dissapointed with backpack cover
wait.. backpack cover? does it slow/stop timefall wear on anything on the packback tower? Sheet, I kinda gave up on him as too far out of the way. Plus slow ass moving on the connection level (and I did eventually learn and read the mails.. even then peeps like the first prepper and the author's son take FOREVER.)
I dont know if it has been covered but one trick I use all the time is if I have a bike that needs to get over a chasm you can put a ladder down and drive straight over it. I've been using bikes way longer than I normally would have.
You can also put down 2 right next to each other if you want to be extra cautious, it's basically a wider ladder. Haven't tried to do it yet but I wonder if you can space 2 ladders out, parallel and precisely the width of your truck's wheels, to drive a truck across a chasm.
@@illegallyrested8868 about the two ladders for a truck, it'll just be moved by the truck and get destroyed. A dude on reddit tried it already and it's a nope.
@@BloodTrinity Damn, I was hoping it'd be a good way to cross the Mule territory in area 2 without having to head north around the crevices Thanks for saving me a truck lol
Build roads, it's worth it everywhere except maybe the spots where they only cover short flat stretches of land. Level up anybody that gives you a new piece of tech to get the better versions of said tech. Particularly worth it for the exo rigs, since at level 3 it shrinks down to a small container. Grab every exobiote you see, you WILL need them later. Poor Sam goes through blood like it's free cocktail night at a vampire bar.
I’m sure people have said this but I’d like to share some stuff I’ve learned while playing: . 1.) While riding the floating carriers, you can use L2 and R2 to make Sam balance his load and to stop immediately. This is very useful when going down steep slopes with obstacles. Go fast and BB will enjoy the speed. Just make sure not to crash haha 2.) When resting in Hot Springs, you can press the touch pad and Sam will start making silly noises for BB if you don’t have the harmonica. 3.) READ YOUR MAIL!!! Reading mail gives you likes and helpful information. That’s how I was able to find the hot spring north-east of the Junkyard guy. 4.) One thing I like to do if I enter combat with MULEs totally unprepared and they have pinged my Cargo is have the Speed Skeleton LV2 equipped and RUN LIKE HELL. Since I’m playing on the hardest difficulty it gets frustrating when all it takes is 3 or 4 good punches for Sam to become unconscious, you just got to be careful where you’re running and to keep an eye on your battery. . 5.)Get the Otter Hood from the Cosplayer, you’ll have to deliver some sewing kits to a pretty rough terrain where they are some BTs located but it’s not too hard. Getting the Otter hood will make Sam swim like an otter when swept away, and instead of BB becoming stressed, BB will start to enjoy the water. . . If I think of anymore I will edit.
I've used the crouch method to instantly restablize my large pile of junk on my back soo many times. That insta stop and stabilize when running at 100MPH with speed legs on is fascinating.
I love how the game finally gives meaning that silly RUclipsr expression “smash that like button.” I cant really smash the like button on my phone unless I’m supposed to like then unlike like then unlike etc. But I can smash the like button in Death Stranding. Awesome video by the way I always wondered how to tell if the Cargo trucks are full.
When you bola the MULEs and you get the handcuffs symbol, you can walk up and kick them into the knocked out stars symbol. Pretty useful if you don't always get that head shot.
Cool, this episode was better than the previous one. Not really a tip but something that can be helpful to other players: When you reach the point where you can build roads, make sure you're not building structures on the path where they'll be constructed. If you do, the game is gonna destroy them, which can be pretty annoying if it's...say....a container, for example. And yes, it happened to me, I lost a level 3 of those and had to rebuild it and pick up all the stuffs I put in the private locker because they were lying around...Good time lol Also, am I the only one who's completely addicted to this game. Like good lord, the concept is special but it's so damn good.
I know its annoying to find useful bridges or generators by other players BUT they were built on the Yellow construction zone so when you finish paving they dissapear! DO NOT BUILD IF YELLOW
I'm so addicted to this game. It is really different and makes you have to think alot. I really like what kojima did here with this game. I want to know the whole story tho and move the game on but I just want to deliver more packages and get those 5 star ratings.
@@jaybreezy8047 LOL Exactly the same. I'm progressing REALLY slowly on the main quest, over 5o hours of gameplay now and I'm at what...Chapter 3 or so? lol Make no mistake, I love the story, it's definitely one of the biggest strenght of this game and I'm really curious to see what's coming next but there is SO many things to do in this game, delivery, constructions, helping other players, exploring... Before the game came out, peoples were joking about the lenght of the game if you had to walk through a real life sized map of America but it really feel like this to me at the moment, I think finishing this game is gonna take me the same amount of time as going through the entire USA on foot. XD
I believe that issue was patched out in the most recent update. I tried to build a generator yesterday and it wouldn't let me build where I wanted to, it came up with notification stating something along the lines of "you can't build here due to this being the location of a future road".
1. You can actually kick these stunned MULEs and the chain will change to star 2. Mules with hoods on will counter your attacks 3. You can parry MULEs with your rope, it needs to be timed good though 4. That slow motion when you knock out a MULE is for grabbing the cargo they hold mid-air. Throwing or bashing a MULE with cargo is one hit knockout 5. Hold triangle to put all cargo from your back on ground at once. Don't do it on rough/steep terrain though or you might damage it. 6. You can skip cutscenes such as loading cargo, drinking monster energy or others 7. There are several secret cutscenes in your safehouse like Sam spilling a beer on you or BB breaking from the container
If you skip the First 3 scenes of sam drinking beer, but don't skip the fourth, he trows everything that is on top of the table on to the ground, And you become unable of equiping your glasses, And hats.
I also just discovered a secret cutscene in the safe house when using the mirror. (Mini spoiler warning) I pushed up on the R analog stick and some scary suspenseful music started playing while the camera shifts in slow mo to the left where you see Higgs standing right behind you and Sam quickly turns around to look at the camera wearing a golden mask himself! It then cuts to another cutscene of Sam waking up from a nightmare lol. It was definitely a jump scare and I’m hoping there’s more jumpscares to come!
It's a bit more difficult because you have to hold a button down, but you can go into first person mode by holding L1 in BT territory for a REALLY good view of where your scanner is pointing.
You have a dodge you can use with R2/L2+X. It's insanely invulnerable, so you can easily dodge even the AOE spear throws or away from tons of mules surrounding you or away from boss attacks. You can also steady yourself while sprinting with heavy cargo and ram into the guys that guard to break through and kick their asses. Whenever you're punching a mule you'll go through their attacks, so if you're beating on one guy and about to get poked, just change targets. Decoy cargo (or any cargo) and remote stun bombs go together well. If we did it with C4 in MGS, try it with remote stun bombs in DS. If you did it to guards in MGS, do it to mules in DS. Sticky gun is amazing. Pull things off mules and then chuck them back in their faces. Or in boss BT fights, there will hematic grenades and such popping up all over arena. Instead of waiting for white Sams to help, use the sticky gun to grab it from a mile away. But that's not all the sticky gun is good for. Containers and the contents of the containers are actually two separate hp bars. The container is mostly damaged from rain, the contents mostly from falls. Keep the container health high and the falls will do less damage to the contents. Don't be like me and waste repair spray right before your turn in, it only heals the container and the score is based on the hp of the contents. Also use repair spray when you find cover from timefall, if you use it while you're getting rained on it will be much less effective. Drive over ladders with a bike (carefully), use ropes to cross rivers, there's a certain hat that will help you deal with water better. The truck you build can hold something like 5-10 times the amount of cargo mule trucks can. More than enough to complete several stretches of highway at once. Bots will perform better if you send them to places where you've completed highways and cleared out mules, but BTs don't bother them. I think the emote 'likers get liked' is more than just trading a like for a like. I strongly suspect it's a hint that being more generous with liking other people's things will either get your things to show up more OR that you'll interact more with other people who like a lot of things. The tips section in the menu is insanely long and has a lot of cool tricks. Try to make sure even gameplay tips are in a place people who might not want to see them can avoid them. A lot of this stuff is as cool to find as the story itself. You guys all rock. Let's build some roads together.
destroyed cargo is perfect for chucking at human personnel. OHKO. So if you dont wanna carry weapons around you can always carry 2-3+ containers around
I feel like Face palming... That’s why that one person I saw. Had a rope on the other-side of a stream. I thought it was a waste of equipment. ( they still could of used a ladder instead but I see the intention or point now, at least)
1) ALWAYS use a bike wherever possible - you can get to every destination using it. 2) Let the BT's drag you to the boss, then simply look at your map and head to the closest area out of bounds. This will eliminate all BT's in the area. 3) Or just ride straight through with your bike. 4) Take as much lost cargo as possible from your bases, then immediately deliver at that same base. 5) Unload all packages before entering mule territory so they won't be alerted to you. You can then take them all out with ease.
Don't always use a bike/vehicles. Vehicles are really handy but not *always* the best. Floating Carriers, Ziplines, and anchors/ladders can make walking potentially faster than vehicles depending on the terrain.
@@darthvaderreviews6926 Nope. Ziplines may be faster in short bursts, but unless the entire area you want to cover has them then you're just walking again unless you're very lucky to have someone leave a bike behind.
In areas of difficult terrain, if you can get halfway to a location with a zipline, especially if you're going over the most difficult stretches, that's quite probably faster than trying to figure out a bike-compatible route there. In areas of fairly flat terrain, yes, bikes/trucks are king and should be your best friends. This advice mostly applies later on in the game, with mountainous regions where you need to go through a lot of headache if you want to use a vehicle there, and have to do a lot of going around when you could be going through. Also bear in mind that Ziplines are very economical. You say "unless the entire area you want to cover has them" as if it's rare, but each Zipline connection can cover ~300 meters, so even discarding other people's ziplines, it's actually quite feasible for you to build your own networks. You won't necessarily cover an entire region, but most of the links to minor settlements from the major ones are around 600-900 meters. Though, to be honest, this is all just personal preference anyway. I'm personally not the biggest fan of the bike as even with wheelies I just don't like the terrain collisions, IMO trucks are more reliable.
Better if you just put a postbox down and unload cargo into private locker keeps cargo from getting stolen and or broken by accident I do it every time for bt zones just to have to avoid sneaking thru the rain
I don’t know if this is discussed in your last video. I watched that but don’t remember seeing it there or in this video. Anyway here’s my tip a friend told me. You can take selfies in the sink near the mirror. You get a cool nightmare cutscene sometimes. Additionally it’s a very easy way to get likes from BB. BB is very generous with the likes depending on the pose.
@Gerry Buckets Indeed a camera mode like we have in borderlands 3 would be nice and yes, being able to craft a music player would be awesome (if not already in the game)
Here is an actually new tip, with a very minor spoiler: While resting or catching your breath (by holding circle), press the touchpad button to whistle or play the harmonica if you have it. Keep tapping it as you finish each part of the song to play out the song. BB will give you likes as you do this, which refill your stamina gauge. Very useful if you can't use your canteen (i.e. it's empty). I believe this happens automatically if you leave the controller idle, also.

The only way I was able to get the 2000+ kilo standard delivery in one go was the have a road going all the way to South Knot.
This game just got 32x times better. All the hidden mechanics in this game creates the ultimate video game experience, where you are not capped to what you can do like most traditional games. Loving it more one day at a time.
Had this game on order for months and months. I cancelled the order when the reviews came out. However after watching 21Kiloton’s review - and because it was near Christmas - I asked my mum to buy me it for Christmas! I loaded it on Xmas day and played it on Boxing Day. Man I am loving it! Can hardly put it down!
There is a cool easter egg that I found recently in the safe house, similar to the nightmare sequence with BB. If you zoom on Sam's feet long enough, the camera will start to blur and a puddle of tar will drip from under your bed with BTs grasping your feet and, strangely enough, a BT version of Deadman
just made it to the pizza mission and I do have to say, the community on this game is so sweet and I appreciate people who leave generators, postboxes and ladders in useful places 😭
Wait till you get to the roads.... I just binged 10 hours building the road from Newport knot to south knot, and started the road to the abandoned factory to the west. With generators along the way, shelter covers, and a few delivery storage pods in key areas like beside farmanle camps and near areas you can get into boss fights (that way you can save and deposit unnecessary gear/things you don't want to loose or degrade). Ill finish the roads before I unlock Mama and south knot. Maby I'll do the racetrack if I feel the car is worth getting sooner rather than later. But I'm pretty sure a good number of people have done so already.
Use the river stream while equipping the otter hood, and just simply fall down in river.for manuever,if hold l2/r2 Sam will role in 1 direction and even loops clockwise.or u could just press l2 then r2, taking advantage of the spin to moves towards quicker.Sometimes it's the best way to move..make sure everything u don't want to lose are hooked to ur floating device and the stuff behind the back that are strapped if not it will drop. And easy combat..the chain is 3 times. Id enemies hit on third time they will stun..so u can actually moves behind them or do anything like switching stuff.basicly more timing...or u could just knocked them off.if they tried to attack in close distance.just attack them too, because u will not get him by them if u both tried to attack.sometimes they parry back though If u have the harmonica equiped.when rest, Sam can play it and bb will give u lots likes for playing it..and also regain slight Amount of stamina. Another way to spot bt without helps of bb..or bb out of commission.just press the middle button to taunt them..bt that close can hear u talking and will automatically runs towards u.doing so also make BT visible for a split second.if u can't see them but u hear the clicking sound, stop taunting, they will rush towards even faster.make sure use your ear where the direction and don't forget to hold breathing and crouch... otherwise u can't escape.or simply if u have time to pee at them also can,but need timing While using the stick gun.when u fired the shot. The package will move towards u if u timingly press the grab either left or right u can get it without it falling and take dmg.make sure don't move while firing or it will not goes towards u correctly
Tip: Distribution Centers are a fantastic location to store in-progress orders b/c of their prime geographical location. So don't be afraid to pick up orders to maximize your load.
wish it was a hold prompt. Having to mash it repeatedly makes it both tedious and damaging to the controller and my fingers (repeated movements cause carpel tunnel, every gamer knows this. But the number of times hitting said button can break said button from registering ever again. same with smashing the like button thing)
You're a shining example of what a good gaming content creator is. Your choice of vocabulary and tempo is right up my alley, Godspeed sir happy Labor Day weekend.
There's a very weird semi-secret grenade type. If Sam is extremely exhausted when entering a private room, he'll have blood in his urine, which produces EX Grenade No1+.
To those completionists coming back to the first area for the 5 stars. Pro tip, you can make a zipline system from distro center south, all the way to windfarm bypassing all the BTs and the climb. I also made one to cross the waterfall to get to musician.
If you are on a fight with one of the armored mules you can run straight to them presing R2 and L2 while dashing and then square so that you bash them and you will knock them a little and get behind them making it easy to knock them out barehanded...
I tried this before but i dont remember if it has potential to damage your cargo or not but its definitely useful for canceling the enemys attack animation before they land a hit. Great tip!
Here's a little info on EX Grenades. EX 0 Simply walk around and through various terrain, BT infested areas, or timefall areas. Almost anything you do covers Sam with dirt and grit. Take a shower to create them. USES: Toss them on the ground or at the BTs to send them floating away in a random direction. They don't float away too far. EX 0 is the easiest grenade to make (you just have to walk around after all) but not as strong as the next variant, EX 1. EX 1 Let's call this the pee-pee grenade, since its made using your urine. You need to consume Monster energy drink to make them. USES: A more stronger version of the EX 0. Toss your pee-pee and watch them flee! Of course, the drawback is that you can't create it as easily as EX 0. EX 2 The poo-poo grenade. You need to eat cryptobiotes to create this grenade. USES: It can paralyze BTs for a short while. Since it can explode in a cloud, it can hit any BT caught in its area of effect. Simply throw your poo-poo on a BT or on the ground (if you are targeting multiple BTs). Also, you can use the wheelie on your bike to easily navigate deeper areas in the water (marked by yellow) without causing the bike to hit something.
I've done the urine one, especially early game where I had almost nothing, and I like to think it deals no damage to them, but since you're already half in the beach, what they see is just you urinating on them so they run away in horror.
EX Grenade #1+ is a thing. Run your stamina REALLY low (fill it with the white bar below 25%) before resting at a private room and donating some urine. You won't be happy you did.
Zip lines initially go 300m so open your map to keep an eye on the distance before setting one down. Make sure you stretch out to the maximum that you can. I set up a lot of zip lines in the central section to go from one end to the other without even touching the ground. BTs won't bother you while you're on the Zip line.
An easy way to transfer items between truck and bike , if you park a car close to a bike, they’ll both be available in the cargo menu, and you can move items between them .
7:00 You should probably add that if you get a body shot with the bola gun and they're tied up but not knocked out, kicking them while they're down will finish the job.
If you deconstruct items that the story tells you to make... You'll get populated with community item at that location, but have freed up your chiral network.
when youre rebuilding road carry materials in the smallest sizes to reduce weight. load them on your truck and go from paver to paver. also, dont be shy and dump chiral crystals as soon as you see one in the early game
no, put them in the biggest size you can -the less packages the more room you wind up being able to use - think about it like this, a zillion tiny packages take up more space than one big one
On repeated actions like delivering cargo, going to private room, recycling, or even the bb flashbacks. Do NOT press options and then skip. Once you’ve already watched a cut scene, the next time it repeats you can skip it by simply pressing circle. Makes chugging all five monsters super fast and easy once you watch the 3 or 4 times. This also let’s you know if it’s a bb flashback you haven’t seen before because pressing circle only skips those you’ve seen
Hey just a few PSAs to anyone still watching. 1 - You can equip your strand to tie down any stored packages on floating carriers and the back of the hauler bike. 2 - always keep a PCC on you to use as a private locker in case you need to abandon a quest in the middle of it to avoid dying. It's much easier to run back to base without the fear of losing goods, grab a bike or truck and supplies and return to a postbox full of perfectly preserved goods. 3 - Make sure in your settings that you've set it to share all structures so you can use the incredibly useful bridges, paths, and buildings other players leave. 4 - When you get the otter hood from Cosplayer, the water is now your friend. You can now float On your back and paddle/roll left and right to avoid rocks and the river will take you there faster and avoid a lot of enemies/BTs. Not to mention if you stand still while floating on your back in deep water, Sam will wash his face in the water like an otter and your lost stamina will be restored like with an energy drink. And as far as I can tell, your stamina penalty from not sleeping/resting is negated while floating.
In private room, I checked on BB and he was asleep, so I pressed square and knocked on his pod. He knocked back, then went ape shit and smashed through the glass to attack me! But then I woke up and it was a dream. But this actually happened, try it, if BB is asleep, press Square anyway
Another tip I didn’t see and I watched both of your videos...I always put two floating carries (one for riding, the other for carrying cargo)in my truck that way you can use the Speed Skeleton and get around easy and light and do a really far jump like the Incredible Hulk video game.
What a great video, thanks for the awesome tips. PS: You can kill humans so long as you incinerate their bodies before they go necro. I actually cleared one of the bandit camps this way and now I can pass through it without being bothered and didn't cause any void outs. In fact the first time I gained access to the truck I had to fill it full of dead mule bodies and make my way to the incinerator, it was one hell of an experience. This game is just so awesome!
Dont know if its been mentioned but if you open the map, hold your finger on the touchpad then tilt the joypad, the map will tilt with it showing a clear isometric view. This is great for knowing how steep the terrain is.
@@issouchancla1539 Interesting. I did not think you needed to wait 15 hours before the game becomes interesting. Most of the people here that love it found it interesting within the 1st hour and it just kept getting better as more mechanics were introduced.
@Issou Chancla for me the game became interesting like right off the bat from Prologue and i’m 40+ hours in the game, at episode 3, and i’m addicted to it.
Easter egg: I found that if your in the private room, and drink monster energy, put on the cap, put on the glasses, etc. really REALLY fast skipping everything, I accidentally found out that at some point, all the items scatter all over the floor. XD Kinda funny when it happened. Guess it represents someone frantically putting on things or wolfing down monster drinks.
protip: if you are playing with mouse and keyboard you can bind the "like" function to your mouse scroll wheel and dish out 1000 likes in a few seconds

there actually were some things i missed!
please keep in mind that community has to do stuff like repairing the streets.
Also it would be nice to know how to get better blueprints (like blood grenade lvl.2)
thanks!
Why am I getting likes for signs when I log in when I haven’t put up any signs yet? It said Someone gave me 11 likes for a Sign but I haven’t even used that feature yet.
Make more please getting it tommorow.
Off the top of my head I can think of a few more things that might be worth a mention.
1) If you look behind you when seated in a private room you can see past cut scenes
2) You can change the colour of your hat while in the private room too
3) If You stare at Norman's crotch while seated in the private room he will flip you a bird.
4) If you find abandoned undelivered deliveries (from other players) rather than deliver them you can take them out and hand them back in the same place and still get lots of likes.
I haven't seen any one comment on this so here's my help:
When fighting bts mini bosses and you have ran out of hematic grenades or blood bags, you can press the touchpad button to call out to nearby players and a white bt version of them will throw blood bags and grenades and cheer you on while you fight the monster.
Hmm, not sure if you need to press the touchpad though. Happened to me without having to press the touchpad, but maybe doing so helps more?
@@RM-el3gw were you maybe near death? Cause that's the only other time thats happened to me. I still like the idea that you are never truly alone when fighting the catchers.
Paragon Bytes yeah I lost all my ciral ladders, and ciral boots after being grabbed, not sure if I can get those back
Found out another one, once when you get the weather forecast in your cuff links, you can rob Mule camp Postboxes when it rains, as all the mules take shelter during the rain and don't chase you, just look at you from far like idiots while you empty their postboxes
no way!!!
WOAH
That's cool, thanks for the tip.
Now I understand why they were in their shelters withoth mové them

I personally love to take out mule camps before I make a delivery. Once I beat em I take a truck and take their resources and build roads so other players will benefit.
join the club im a still @ episode 3 and love using my level three long range truck to collect my bank haul from the mules for road building .ez pz free metal free ceramics and special alloy on that third mule area ...kek
Bruh, you da real MVP for helping to build those sweet ass paved roads! 😤💪🏼🎮 Keep up the good work, Porter! The United Cities of America are counting on you! 🤩😉 lol
Seriously though, I SO appreciate seeing how other players have clearly came through the same paths before I have, and made advancements here & there, because often times they benefit me, and it only strengthens my own resolve to continue to help others.
Never thought the "Piss on it to show dominance" would work lol
I find that tip quite... odd. considering if you try to piss on the mules Sam's like "ugh, no one wants to see that." But now I know I can throw piss bombs at them! yeesss!
For the ghosts I just "piss off Ghosts" "oh piss on ghost
Edit 1:
Edit 2:
8. Both lore and mechanics info: I've seen a lot of people misinterpret how BTs are made, what happens to corpses and what causes a voidout:
a) BTs are made when a person dies and their corpse is left to turn into tar.
This leaves a huge crater that (reportedly) goes away eventually (thanks timefall)
9. Stun grenades can be great ways to take out an entire vehicle of enemies. 2x stun grenades in a row is normally a full KO and not just a stun.
If you weakly stun a MULE, e.g. bolo to the chest, kick him and he won't stand up.
@@leonielson7138 Fascinatingly morbid idea but AFAIK you can't pick up unconscious MULEs.
you can also hit a mule with a truck and not kill them.
You're right. This thing although working with the pyramids, that people create by resting in the same places
I've never used the cryptobiotes yet
Golden Showers: The Game
cant believe sam pees can be apex legends character
also, the crybtobiotes that spawn in these places won't run away when you try to catch them, while the ones from the map do
Not a tip, just a neat detail. If a Mule falls into water their collars inflate to keep them from drowning.
Good to know, I was waiting for one to clear some water before I put him out, and didn’t want him to drown.
I was gonna tie one up with the bola gun but I waited till he got out of the water so he didn’t drown, but that’s good to know
I mean, if it prevents them from dying then it technically is a tip...
Found this out yesterday, shot a couple with the Bola gun when they were crossing deep water, they ended up floating off down stream 😯
Yeah. Even if they are K.O

Me too. Just picked it up and I'm loving it
Tip: If you "alert" a BT and they start walking to you, just hold your breath and STAY STILL, and they will NOT find/grab you even if they are inches away from you.
@@naota909 didn't know it. Plates only on normal. But even on normal they come back real quick. But it enough time to drive thru
Michael Wasko on normal they come back as soon as you leave the area. The amount of times I have ran over to collect something near a BT area after clearing and go just have it come back.
@@naota909 So you actually clear an area when taking out a boss? Didn't know that? For how long? On normal mode
When you get oxygen mask it makes it unnecessary to hold your breath, it's a closed system, BTs will not notice you if you wear it sneaking around them. Makes it easier to get close to cut the umbilical cords.

Arkib Ilmu I got that bug too but you can sort of fixed it by running them over with vehicle
How do you cut the BT cord ? I've seen it and thought there must be something to it
@@Maximo10101 at the very end of chapter 5 you earn the cuffs that cut the cords
i tried doing this but it was at the part close to the end (not going to spoil it so lets just say it would make sense that they keep respawning here) but I couldn't tell if this worked. they just kept coming back. maybe it works everywhere else though?
These are good
Zip lines are faster and cheaper to make then roads. I have most my map covered with them. Send me some love if you see my stuff out there.
then roads. Than roads
Is traveling by zip line actually faster for deliveries than driving a bike while boosting on a road though?
I built all the zip lines in the Eastern section (OnyxC6). Did lots of the road spans in the central section too.. near Momma's lab.
If you're short on chiralium, check these locations:
1) Incinerator West of Lake Knot City has tons of chiralium in the backyard which apparently respawns, so check on it from time to time
2) There're chiralium stashes like those left behind by BT bosses along the tar shore - take a walk on the beach near the Timefall Farm and north of Peter Englert's shelter
there's also the gas crevice near the film director
What I found is that carrying a pcc around and when I get into bt zones I deploy it with a post box unload all my cargo into private locker and then go fight the bt boss once defeated I then just go back and collect without ruining my cargo
no need to do that later in the game tho.
dont know how far you are so i dont wanna spoil a thing but trust me.
later in the game this will waste more time then it will save
SupahFly yes but currently I am at the weather station and up until not it just helps keep cargo in mint condition
Hardly worth the effort really.

Please let everyone know that they need to read collector's mails in order to get the backpack cover. If you just keep doing the order you will run out of retrieve order and will not get the cover.
This tip is huge, and applies to most, if not all clients.
You have to read their mail in order for deliveries to increase their connection level.
vgambit wow I had no idea. I read all the mail I get because who doesn’t but that’s some good knowledge lol.
I got this cover but its good only for 3 L size packages or 6 s size. So its pretty useless especially if you use truck. I was really dissapointed with backpack cover

got it near the end of chapter 3, super duper useful
When throwing cargo, Sam will throw harder using his right arm.
yeah, I only found that out when I had to throw the thing into the crater.
Does that mean it does more damage if I threw something during melee combat against a mule?
@@tommo9176 yes, you throw farther and it does more damage
Every time I pick a cargo with my hand it doesn't continue to stay in my hand same just drops it all the time, do I gotta hold r2 ?
@@tonystark559 yes, you have to hold r2 or l2 depending on which hand you're carrying it in. Much easier to put it on your back if you have space.
when crossing a BT area just simply hold your breath when BB starts crying as this indicates that you have been ''spotted'' and you should be good
Also if you have the oxygen mask equipped, you don't need to hold your breath.
BT: I will end humanity
Sam: Imma piss on this man whole career
Tip: Rust indicates container damage. Tape color indicates inside contents damage. (Yellow = full contents health, orange = damaged contents).
Keep on keeping on!

Today's a good day.
Lou? Oh.. Right....
@@illegallyrested8868 - Oh shit I'm tryin that! 🤔😆
@@illegallyrested8868 you can
@@illegallyrested8868 about the two ladders for a truck, it'll just be moved by the truck and get destroyed. A dude on reddit tried it already and it's a nope.
@@BloodTrinity Damn, I was hoping it'd be a good way to cross the Mule territory in area 2 without having to head north around the crevices
Thanks for saving me a truck lol
Build roads, it's worth it everywhere except maybe the spots where they only cover short flat stretches of land.
Level up anybody that gives you a new piece of tech to get the better versions of said tech. Particularly worth it for the exo rigs, since at level 3 it shrinks down to a small container.
Grab every exobiote you see, you WILL need them later. Poor Sam goes through blood like it's free cocktail night at a vampire bar.
I’m sure people have said this but I’d like to share some stuff I’ve learned while playing:
.
1.) While riding the floating carriers, you can use L2 and R2 to make Sam balance his load and to stop immediately. This is very useful when going down steep slopes with obstacles. Go fast and BB will enjoy the speed. Just make sure not to crash haha
2.) When resting in Hot Springs, you can press the touch pad and Sam will start making silly noises for BB if you don’t have the harmonica.
Tip: If you feel like you're going to run off a cliff, simply crouch - you can't speed off a cliff while crouched.
and if you're riding the bike too fast down a hill and can't brake, just hop off and it'll stop dead in its tracks
I've used the crouch method to instantly restablize my large pile of junk on my back soo many times. That insta stop and stabilize when running at 100MPH with speed legs on is fascinating.
Tip: The absolute fastest way to refill ammo (for guns) is to "rest at an NPC shelter" (not a private room).
Only difference, you smash like 200 likes in ten seconds XD
When you bola the MULEs and you get the handcuffs symbol, you can walk up and kick them into the knocked out stars symbol. Pretty useful if you don't always get that head shot.
Cool, this episode was better than the previous one.
Not really a tip but something that can be helpful to other players: When you reach the point where you can build roads, make sure you're not building structures on the path where they'll be constructed. If you do, the game is gonna destroy them, which can be pretty annoying if it's...say....a container, for example.
And yes, it happened to me, I lost a level 3 of those and had to rebuild it and pick up all the stuffs I put in the private locker because they were lying around...Good time lol
Also, am I the only one who's completely addicted to this game.
Jason Schafer Be careful or you’re going to become a MULE!
@@jaybreezy8047 LOL Exactly the same. I'm progressing REALLY slowly on the main quest, over 5o hours of gameplay now and I'm at what...Chapter 3 or so? lol
Make no mistake, I love the story, it's definitely one of the biggest strenght of this game and I'm really curious to see what's coming next but there is SO many things to do in this game, delivery, constructions, helping other players, exploring...
Even not in the game, people on the comment section still help each other by giving tips. The sense of community in this game is amazing
This game has so many small detail mechanics. I keep finding out new things every day.
1. You can actually kick these stunned MULEs and the chain will change to star
2. Mules with hoods on will counter your attacks
3. You can parry MULEs with your rope, it needs to be timed good though
4. That slow motion when you knock out a MULE is for grabbing the cargo they hold mid-air. Throwing or bashing a MULE with cargo is one hit knockout
5. Hold triangle to put all cargo from your back on ground at once. Don't do it on rough/steep terrain though or you might damage it.
6. You can skip cutscenes such as loading cargo, drinking monster energy or others
@Gerry Buckets It's still fun to knock one out. Grab his cargo from mid air and throw it at his buddy.
It's not always about efficiency for me :p
I got no7. with BB breaking out the jar, i hadnt rested in the private room for a while so maybe that triggered it?
If you look at his groin for a certain amount of time, he'll punch your lights out.
No, let’s build some Bridges! 😎
Never thought of doing 4!!!! I’ll try tonight
This 5 saves my day, thanks, this mule Always find me by my package
Hold Triangle to Unload everything from your bag.
Great for entering combat. Put your gun on rack.
highlighted on the last video
Better if you just put a postbox down and unload cargo into private locker keeps cargo from getting stolen and or broken by accident I do it every time for bt zones just to have to avoid sneaking thru the rain
Awesome
I don’t know if this is discussed in your last video. I watched that but don’t remember seeing it there or in this video. Anyway here’s my tip a friend told me. You can take selfies in the sink near the mirror. You get a cool nightmare cutscene sometimes. Additionally it’s a very easy way to get likes from BB. BB is very generous with the likes depending on the pose.
Seems that BB prefers goofy faces the most. Makes sense, I suppose.
I wish there was a way to listen to music at your time during the journey.
That would've been awesome.
And I wish they add a photomode in this game.
@Gerry Buckets Indeed a camera mode like we have in borderlands 3 would be nice and yes, being able to craft a music player would be awesome (if not already in the game)
Yup Sam needs an iPod or mp3 player he can equip that will play song selection available in private room
I can understand why he didn’t add music on the go. Something magical about a specific song randomly coming on across your journey
And for some reason you cant connect spotify to the ps4 while playing death stranding
Death stranding update maybe?
Here is an actually new tip, with a very minor spoiler:
While resting or catching your breath (by holding circle), press the touchpad button to whistle or play the harmonica if you have it. Keep tapping it as you finish each part of the song to play out the song. BB will give you likes as you do this, which refill your stamina gauge. Very useful if you can't use your canteen (i.e. it's empty). I believe this happens automatically if you leave the controller idle, also.
Not a tip but I noticed that the white dots on the mushrooms are actually thumbs up
:o
No way? gonna look closer now lol

is much cheaper in some cases (generator, zip line, timefall prime examples). Also helps boost it's lifetime till next upgrade/repair needed.
just made it to the pizza mission and I do have to say, the community on this game is so sweet and I appreciate people who leave generators, postboxes and ladders in useful places 😭
Id enemies hit on third time they will stun..so u can actually moves behind them or do anything like switching stuff.basicly more timing...or u could just knocked them off.if they tried to attack in close distance.just attack them too, because u will not get him by them if u both tried to attack.sometimes they parry back though
If u have the harmonica equiped.when rest, Sam can play it and bb will give u lots likes for playing it..and also regain slight Amount of stamina.
Another way to spot bt without helps of bb..or bb out of commission.just press the middle button to taunt them..bt that close can hear u talking and will automatically runs towards u.doing so also make BT visible for a split second.if u can't see them but u hear the clicking sound, stop taunting, they will rush towards even faster.make sure use your ear where the direction and don't forget to hold breathing and crouch... otherwise u can't escape.or simply if u have time to pee at them also can,but need timing
While using the stick gun.when u fired the shot.
L2 and R2 can be used to very quickly break on the floating carrier. allowing you to never step off. square also allows you to push like a skateboard
wish it was a hold prompt. Having to mash it repeatedly makes it both tedious and damaging to the controller and my fingers (repeated movements cause carpel tunnel, every gamer knows this. But the number of times hitting said button can break said button from registering ever again. same with smashing the like button thing)

@@RM-el3gw Yup - I do this quite frequently as well!
There's a very weird semi-secret grenade type. If Sam is extremely exhausted when entering a private room, he'll have blood in his urine, which produces EX Grenade No1+.

This game is crazy, the mechanics are so deep and well designed...
And the dynamics too, dont forget the dynamics.
Fun fact: trucks can actually carry an infinite amount of weight but only have a finite amount of space in the back to hold cargo

Here's a little info on EX Grenades.
EX 0
Simply walk around and through various terrain, BT infested areas, or timefall areas.
EX 1
Let's call this the pee-pee grenade, since its made using your urine. You need to consume Monster energy drink to make them.
USES: A more stronger version of the EX 0. Toss your pee-pee and watch them flee! Of course, the drawback is that you can't create it as easily as EX 0.
EX 2
The poo-poo grenade. You need to eat cryptobiotes to create this grenade.
USES: It can paralyze BTs for a short while. Since it can explode in a cloud, it can hit any BT caught in its area of effect. Simply throw your poo-poo on a BT or on the ground (if you are targeting multiple BTs).
Also, you can use the wheelie on your bike to easily navigate deeper areas in the water (marked by yellow) without causing the bike to hit something.
beer gives you way more urine for EX1s
Crediting shield surfing actually goes to a young Hylian named Link. An elf I met on my travels long ago, he was a silly fellow.
Going back to the bola gun. If you don't knock them out on the first go. You can run up to them to kick them and knock them out.
How to kick if using a PC?
I've done the urine one, especially early game where I had almost nothing, and I like to think it deals no damage to them, but since you're already half in the beach, what they see is just you urinating on them so they run away in horror.
If you have a ton of cargo on your back and carrying on your both hands, you can crouch to stay balance when losing balance
EX Grenade #1+ is a thing. Run your stamina REALLY low (fill it with the white bar below 25%) before resting at a private room and donating some urine. You won't be happy you did.
I’ve been really happy with this game and having everyone that plays it help each other out is a great concept
All im gonna say is, Zip Lines are THE BEST.
When riding your Trike you can instantly stop if you pull back, and when you’re doing a wheelie, hit handbrake. Best way to get an immediate stop
When you are skating the cargo carrier you can press R2 and L2 to stop.
Waste, not weight
no, put them in the biggest size you can -the less packages the more room you wind up being able to use - think about it like this, a zillion tiny packages take up more space than one big one
mirmusicmanchester the truck capacity limit is determined by weight
On repeated actions like delivering cargo, going to private room, recycling, or even the bb flashbacks. Do NOT press options and then skip. Once you’ve already watched a cut scene, the next time it repeats you can skip it by simply pressing circle. Makes chugging all five monsters super fast and easy once you watch the 3 or 4 times.
This also let’s you know if it’s a bb flashback you haven’t seen before because pressing circle only skips those you’ve seen
I spent a few hours just hauling metals and cematics to build the highway
i build a pretty good portion of them until zip lines!
I'm so glad tips and tricks where the community comes together to help eachother it reminds me of metal gear solid v
In private room, I checked on BB and he was asleep, so I pressed square and knocked on his pod. He knocked back, then went ape shit and smashed through the glass to attack me! But then I woke up and it was a dream.
But this actually happened, try it, if BB is asleep, press Square anyway
Yea that shit happened to me last night. There are more scenes like that.
the safe house holds a lot of fun, secret scenes ;)
If you hold back on the back and wheelie slowly and hit X to hop you can use the bike like a HillClimb bike or Trials bike
Stealing this LOL just like the social strand system
Yes pro strats
You jump higher if you do that and then press forward around the same time as you press jump but it has to be timed well
Another tip I didn’t see and I watched both of your videos...I always put two floating carries (one for riding, the other for carrying cargo)in my truck that way you can use the Speed Skeleton and get around easy and light and do a really far jump like the Incredible Hulk video game.
Do they respawn? Do items respawn on those camps?
PVP in this game will be seeing who deliver pizza quicker and better
Dont know if its been mentioned but if you open the map, hold your finger on the touchpad then tilt the joypad, the map will tilt with it showing a clear isometric view. This is great for knowing how steep the terrain is.
2chickenbone Boomstick gaming did a first pass at showing game tips with this tip in there. give that vid a watch; has some god stuff.
I'm 140 hours into the game and I still learned new things, especially regarding combat. A great guide for any level porter (:
Such a shame people don't have the patience to see everything the game has to offer.
You know I have a kid and things to do so I can not afford to wait 15hours before the game becomes interesting
@@thepuppetmaster9284 Me too. For real.
@@issouchancla1539 I was personally sucked in after the first hour or so of scenes we already saw in the trailers. the gameplay loop is very fun
Build zip lines and then build more ziplines so we can all travel around faster. Got to get that gold trophy.
Easter egg: I found that if your in the private room, and drink monster energy, put on the cap, put on the glasses, etc. really REALLY fast skipping everything, I accidentally found out that at some point, all the items scatter all over the floor. XD
Kinda funny when it happened. Guess it represents someone frantically putting on things or wolfing down monster drinks.
did you have beer? Sam only does that when he gets drunk
